Holland Park

A beautiful park very close to Surrey central Train station with a lot of trees and a play area for kids, walking path for all age groups and a pond type structure which is functional during summers mostly.
The only downside to the park is that it has its occasional anti social elements just like the rest of Vancouver does.

Big enough for nice walk after meal. They usually have events here during the summer. Have limited parking space, but small children playground and nice flower garden will get us back here more often.

I really enjoyed a walk around the park in the evening just before the sun went down, it's great exercise.

Good spot to take a break or meet up with someone as it is very central location. Usually only take a rest here or come check out an event.

Great park tues-thurs. On weekends it's really dirty. Anything from human feces to a lot of trash piles up here

Amazingly peaceful. Clean, spacious.family oriented during the daytime of course. Love it!

New traffic circle allows one to cut through the park, to King George. Great with all the destruction. I Mena "constructuin" going on around Fraser and King George!

A beautiful and big park to go to. You can walk, run, enjoy a picnic, be with your kids, play basketball and more

Public bathrooms are locked despite there being an event held at the park. On the surface the park looks nice but the water features are full of garbage and there is feces all over the place… I mean it’s Surrey but step it a little bit, sheesh

I used to go to here 4 all the movie nights with family & frnds, now that o moved not so much.its a great way to meet and make frnds 4 ur self and the kids. Keep it going.u are doing great whalley

Holland Park is such a nice little park in downtown Surrey to take your kids to. I take my daughter there still, even though we don't live in Surrey. They have nice big tress, a beautiful fountain that doubles as a great back drop for photos for say, a wedding or graduation photos. They jungle gym equipment is engineered by EBH and is second to none. It has ropes to climb, hang from and is extremely well made. I have checked all the tie-ins (nuts and bolt) connections and it is built to be strong for generations. My daughter loves practicing he climbing and swinging and I even get up there on e in a while and join my soon yo be 6 year old at the top. The Surrey Park service do a good job making sure that there is not and drug paraphernalia in the woof chips and there is a washroom and water fountains to clean or get fresh water. Just bring a container. I would recommend the park late at night as there are some less then desirable people and things going on there as I lived high over the park in 4 separate locations over the years and seen the RCMP go in there many many nights but, at least they take out the garbage and keep the park safe. I will always enjoy Holland Park, and every summer they have the Fusion Festival to look forward to. I am not sure if Fvded is over now for good but that concert was some what of a bitter sweet Festival anyways as the park got trampled and the neighborhood pounded with kids and loud music for a weekend each summer. Although I did watch the weekend preform there before he was a superstar and enjoyed that but the show has took a nice dive every year since the 2 initial years. The park would not recover for weeks so hopefully that is done. But I'm not sure. They also have a great basketball court with two hoops for 2 half court games simultaneously and lots of nice floral fauna. And outdoor movie nights were always fun. Great memories can be built at Holland Park. Go have a nice day
