Once again, our family and extended family spent 4 nights at the Home Lodge over New Years. There is not much else that needs to be said about this place, except AWESOME. The house is beautifully furnished. There are 5 bedrooms each with having their own private washroom (4 bedrooms up, 1 bedroom down). There is also a shared bathroom on the main floor. A GREAT feature to Home Lodge is the mud room. It’s huge and there is lots of room to dry out and store wet equipment after a day outside. A washer and dryer is also available in the mud room. Having its own door means the house won't fill with nasty odours as well. You'll also find your hot tub towels ready in there. The house has an 8 person hot tub great for relaxing after an exhilarating day outside. It has a quiet well stocked library if that is more your style.

The large living room is a great place to hang out with family or new friends. The view is spectacular with the floor to ceiling windows and the wood burning fire place keeps everything warm. There is always an ample supply of split and dry firewood out back that is easily accessible.

In addition, there are deer wandering around the property most of the day. They have become accustomed to humans at the lodge and will approach people without fear.

The most exciting thing personally this year was the ability to finally feed Annie. Have tried on previous occasions with no success, but she loves carrots.

I do not easily recommend places to stay, however, this is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a while and it is literally at the end of the road.

Got to be one of the best BnBs I've stayed at. Beautiful location and a very impressive home all underpinned by amazing breakfasts and a superb host. Only down side was, we we're only there for two nights we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely wonderful Bed and Breakfast. If you are travelling to Golden, you have to stay here! My wife and I stayed for two nights as part of our honeymoon, but we wish we could’ve stayed longer. We were met by Lynn on arrival who both welcomed us and gave us really great information about the surrounding areas' must visit places.

We instantly felt at home here, with access to the whole place, which included peaceful grounds, a library, a lovely decking area, and even some friendly cows! The whole place was immaculate and tastefully decorated, and our room was very spacious and extremely comfortable. Lynn cooked an amazing breakfast in the morning, and we were had everything we needed including games and books for the evening.

After staying in a few AirBnBs, it was great to stay in a traditional bed and breakfast for a change. It gave us the chance to meet the other guests with whom we shared recommendations and stories about our travels in the area.

We would definitely recommend staying here, and certainly hope to return here in the future!

This is a great B&B and the lady that runs it very friendly.
Breakfast was very nice.
The location is a lite outside the centre of Golden and you do need your own car.
The views are amazing from the guest living room.
The bedroom was a good size, but could have done with more room for our suitcases.

Have stayed with Lynn & Siggy twice and on both occasions Homelodge was the highlight of the trip. The welcoming hospitality, the great food, the attentive service, the beautiful facility, and the relaxing ambiance make Homelodge a 5 star resort. Lynn and Siggy clearly love what they do and they genuinely make you feel like you're home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
