I have been a client of Dr. Honce for the last 10 years. Before seeing Dr. Mark Honce, I was self-conscious about my teeth— having lost my two front teeth as a teenager. Dr. Honce gave me my smile and I just wish I had a Dentist, like Dr. Honce, earlier in my life because it has truly been life-changing being his client. I don’t say that lightly.

Everyone was very kind to me. Nicole cleaned my teeth. She was gentle, kept asking if I was ok. My teeth got a great cleaning. Myles came in and checked my teeth. I was even offered coffee. The atmosphere was welcoming and professional.

Drs. Myles and Mark Honce have been my dentists for 30 years now and I have not had a toothache since. I'm always treated with the utmost professionalism as well as personal warmth and kindness. I actually look forward to my visits.how about that?
Update: Had another regular cleaning appointment, and a couple of small cavities were found which were fixed on the same day in record time using new laser technology. NO FREEZING. Myles explains everything he does and makes you feel totally at ease. Awesome.
Also, the new office setting is nothing short of spectacular on the 17th floor of the new Landmark 7 building and that alone warrants a visit.

I regularly see a dentist for cleaning, and take care of my teeth well. I have just moved to Kelowna and was looking for a new family dentist. When I went to Honce dentistry, my x-rays showed no cavities or major issues, just some old fillings that needed to be replaced.
I realize that dentistry is very much a for-profit industry, and the dentist who co-owns the clinic, Dr, Miles Honce, immediately appeared to be playing that angle. Even though my x-rays and the attention I pay to my dental hygiene showed no major issues, the moment Miles Honce looked in my mouth he said, "oh WOW", like he'd just witnessed a horrific car crash, and continued to make these kinds of comments that suggested an appalling state of my mouth. I asked him what this was about given that I had no major cavities, root canal needs, etc, he was immediately defensive and blaming. When I said it felt like he was trying to catastrophize the fact that some fillings need replacing, which is not a big deal in the scope of what could be wrong with a person's teeth, he sarcastically replied- "I don't need your money, trust me- I have enough already". What kind of response is that? ! To your paying client? ! The whole interaction with Miles Honce was incredibly condescending, dismissive of my experience or concerns as a patient, arrogant, and disrespectful. If you want a dentist that gives you an accurate assessment, not just looking to catastrophize and condescend you, go anywhere else but here.
Also- and this is astounding to me- Dr. Honce's hands shook! When he was examining my teeth, I could feel his hands shaking quite significantly. What kind of dentist has very shaky hands? !
Nothing about this experience instilled trust or confidence in either his ability as a dentist or character as a person, and I will definitely not be returning or recommending.

Most of my life, I’ve had a phobia about dentists…hated them. I have paid a price for that fear, but, the help, patience and understanding I received from Dr. Mark Honce and all of his wonderful staff and assistants has changed my life. Thank you!

Dr. Mark is so knowledgeable and up to date with everything available in dental equipment. Honce Dental has always been the best dental care since I started going to his Dad since 1984.

I have had the best experiences over the years with Dr Mark Honce, and most recently I got an overhaul of my mouth with a new smile and I’m beyond happy!
The new office space is over the top beautiful & makes it a pleasure to go to the dentist.

I had 4 dental implants done June 2015. Dr. Mark Honce was able to use my existing denture and what a world of difference for me. I have had issues with my dentures due to very poor gum ridge and chewing was difficult, to the point that I just avoided certain foods. Now, with the stability the implants give to the lower plate, chewing is a breeze! Thank you so much to Dr. Honce and the wonderful staff!

Great experience all around. I felt completely taken care of @ Honce. Their service is impeccable. I felt at easy during every appointment.

I had three crowns that needed to be replaced after about seven years. Dr. Honce replaced them at no cost. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated. As always, the workmanship was superb and all the staff conduct themselves in a very professional and friendly manner. Honce Dentistry is highly recommended.

All of the staff were INCREDIBLY friendly. The view from my chair was pretty amazing as well.

My hygienist is so sweet. Always reminding me: ‘you can relax your face’. Haha. As most of you know, getting anything done with your teeth is a little stress-y. But everyone at Honce makes sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I love the whole dental office! And the new view is spectacular.
