HOPE ESSO

Closed at 7: 00 as we pulled in but kept the lights on until we had filled up. No store access. Was still able to receive and receipt because he pumps didn't dispense one.

Very helpful staff always pleasent on each morning i come for coffee and snacks well done to the staff at Hope Esso Thank You Guys

I stopped here for snacks and to go to the bathroom. I urgently needed to pee as I am 8 months pregnant. I read the sign on the bathroom which says it is for customers only. Fine, I get that. However, I did not want to get my snacks first as THERE IS A GIANT BABY ON MY BLADDER, WHICH SHOULD BE OBVIOUS TO ANYONE WITH EYES. I asked if I could just get the code first. The cashier refused & the tone in his voice was uncalled for. I walked out and went to the 7-11 down the street. I happily went to the bathroom first and got my snacks after. Do not give this place your business. They are extremely rude.

Really clean convenience store with super clean washrooms. I mean way above average. You do have to make a purchase.be a paying customer to use those bathrooms but if you are looking for a clean place to stop then do so at the Esso station!

Skipping this esso in the future. We stopped to fill up our truck and use the bathroom.there is a sign on the bathroom door requiring a code found on the receipt. We pointed that was our truck, we weren’t let in but told (for “next time”?) where to find the code on our receipt. This then happened with the people behind us next yadda yadda we understand they are trying to make sales but the perk of offering a bathroom is that it brings people in who usually won’t come in at all.we’ll be flat out skipping this gas station entirely next time.

Stopped in a few times in the last 3 months. Staff is always friendly. My last time in the thing I noticed most was how incredibly clean the washroom was. I hope the staff keep up the good work.

A little out of the way to come off the highway but the staff seemed happy and helpful, probably more of a locals spot than the big one beside the highway

This place is all about awesome! Great employees who know what great service is. What a welcome relief after a long day travelling. Clean bathrooms, clean showers, just spectacular.
I would make one suggestion.put a fan in the shower so it doesn't get too steamy

This location is brutal. Hygiene? None. Organization? None. Parking lot? Chaos. There are a dozen other places to stop in Hope, I'll use one of those next time.
TL;DR? Gross.

Very convenient location when on the road, get gas, ice cream, chips for the rest of the trip, and get your A&W lunch, good to go!

Last month I stopped here to fuel up with my family headed to Kelowna. I had problems with my fuel restrictor and got no help from staff. After I purchased a jerry can the manager grabbed it and swung at me blindsiding me & hitting me in the head. All on tape and they don’t care about the safety of anybody. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were previous incidents with this lunatic.and if he is still employed there then there needs to be a posting at the entrance “Beware of the possibility of being physically assaulted when purchasing gas and merchandise”

Just had a Teen Burger at the A&W at ESSO. Not only did it look exactly like the picture on the wall but it tasted amazing, just like a burger off the grill. In fact it WAS a burger on the grill. Very fresh. Very impressed.

It's a gas station, and I bought gas. The gas made my car go vroom so I'm giving it 5 stars I guess?

We stop here everytime we head to Kelowna. The cashier is always super friendly and you can't help but chat with him. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly and the rest of the store is spotless. A great little pit stop!

Woman in front of me was taking 15 minutes sorting lottery tickets then I go out to pump gas and the pump is broken
