Hot Chili House Chinese Cuisine

Ordered this place for the first time on Jan 20,2024. Was a quick pickup order. Had the amazing General Tao’s Chicken which was sweet and spicy, one of my favorite chicken dishes. The Szechuan Green beans were crispy and deliciously spiced. The honey Garlic boneless pork was HUGE and very garlicky; exactly was we asked for!
The chicken chow mein was a little under seasoned but nothing a little soy couldn’t fix. The Beef and broccoli was cooked very well with tender beef pieces.
All in all we will be ordering here again as the value for what we received was good and the beans and general taos chicken are two items that are hard to find.

I don't know what they sent me but only mildly resembles what I ordered but it was the absolute worst food I have ever had and they should fire the cook!

My original review was after my first time sampling their food so I feel the need to update my opinion. My first observation on my first and second order is that the food is good but very bland.
My second order took over 2 hrs because the online system placed my order but this wasn't noticed for over an hour when I was called and asked if I still wanted the order. I did still want my order but the food was ice cold upon arrival. My most recent order was plagued with payment issues. I tried for 10 minutes for the debit system to work which it didn't. I then agreed to pay cash but the driver didn't have change ($10)
The machine finally began working but it took over 10-15 minutes so the food was completely cold. I don't appreciate having to microwave a $100 order. I will go back to my previous provider.

Great Food, excellent take out packaging but a bit cold upon arrival. The drivers could use some thermal delivery bags. Wish there was a menu with my order.

The photo is chicken szechuan lunch special, comes with a basic wonton soup. If I remember correctly it was $9.95.

Ok. Maybe I am a little picky when I comes to food. But this is our favorite place in Abbotsford. We actually live in Mission. That being said we drive to Abbotsford just to eat the food here. Owners are super nice too. They always remember my family and I. Definitely a great place to go if you want really good Chinese!

From start to finish, our meal was a blast. The hui guo rou was absolutely incredible, the sweet and sour pork was properly spicy, and the jasmine tea was out of this world. 100% check this out for an authentic chinese cuisine experience.

Ordered here for the first time cause my go-to (bamboo) is closed right now. Hot chilli house was just okay. Chicken fried rice was barely fried and bland, no flavor and no wok hei. Same for Chow mein, bland.no wok hei and seemed a little under cooked (chewy). Almond breaded chicken was good but one piece/fillet was rock hard.was either refried too many times or it was a day old. General tso's chicken didn't taste like general tsos.tasted like spicy sweet and sour chicken. The beef chop Suey was excellent, a little heavy on the cooking wine but I really liked it.
Portion sizes were excellent and delivery was quick. Over all, it wasn't bad but not sure I'll order again.

Save you money and go elsewhere. Price is very high for such small portions, everything seemed over cooked the shrimp were nearly mush. Lacking in flavor never again.

I grew up in Richmond and was craving some dumplings while in the area. This is the place to be for some authentic wontons! Had the spicy peanut wonton and pork+bok choy fried dumplings, both were delicious

This is the only place in Abbotsford that has authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend coming here!

This is my go to place for Chinese food in Abbotsford. Have been going there for over 10 years. Highly recommend it if you like spicy food. Space is small so most times, we take out.

Yeah gotta love how places like these never make any effort to advertise their current prices.

They have the best Chinese lunch menu in town, I’ve tried quite a few things on there and they all turned out to be pretty good. My personal favourite is their spicy beef noodles, and you can request extra noodles to go with it if you’re not filled with the regular portion.

Moved to Abby and tried a few other Chinese food places, and this is by far our favourite! We order from here weekly, their hot and sour soup is phenomenal, and their chowmein is superb! Definitely does not lack flavour, fast delivery and food has been a hit every time! Great job

No complaints. Tried the hot and sour soup in large. Very large portion. Great ingredients, tasty, healthy, and warming on a cold day.

Where do I begin? Disappointing taste, small portions. Your pork was stale and dry and I think you need better descriptions of your food items. Fried rice was tasteless. Im pretty sure this pork wasn’t made today. A very disappointing experience. Hot chilli house? No, Bland “chili” house.
