Hotel DeOro

During my recent stay at the Deoro Hotel in Lillooet, I was extremely impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, their friendliness and attentiveness made me feel right at home.
The rooms were nothing crazy, a bed, a tv, a coffee machine and fridge.
It did the trick for our recent hunting trip.

But what truly amazed me was the extraordinary level of honesty and integrity displayed by the staff. Unfortunately, after checking out, I realized that I had misplaced a sentimental ring of great personal value. In a state of panic, I immediately contacted the hotel to inquire if it had been found. To my immense relief and gratitude, the Deoro Hotel staff had indeed discovered my lost ring.

This is a hard review for me. The room, staff, and everything was great. I ended up leaving a bag in my hotel room and didn't notice until I had driven hours away. I called and they were very helpful in mailing my bag to me. I appreciated it very much. However, when I received my bag, an item had been stolen out of it. I contacted the hotel about it and got the run around, then I got the "language barrier" problem and on and on. After talking to multiple different people about it someone told me the owner was away for a couple weeks and would call me when he got back. No call was ever received, no apology was ever made, and no solution was ever offered. Now, weeks later, I have no desire to call and get upset over this yet again. It is what it is, but I do want to forewarn people about leaving their items at this hotel as someone there fully uses the five-finger discount. Super unimpressed with the lack of accountability or rectification for someone stealing a customer's' items. I'll definitely never stay here again and let anyone I know to choose a different hotel. They received 2 stars because everything up until the theft, was a great.

Just a great stay at Hotel DeOro.
Wonderful staff. Rode in and got a room last minute. Room was clean and everything in room worked.
Lots of hot water. Decent size TV.
Located close to a few places to eat or drink. They have their own coffee shop. Best coffee I have had so far in BC.

No elevator and narrow stairs case?

Great hotel! Cute communal kitchen and great staff that were super accommodating to all of our needs. They made sure we had the internet connection we needed and even helped us out with a flat tire on our car!
