One of the most beautiful Fairmont Hotel’s I’ve ever stayed!

From the employee’s, to the restaurant’s inside the hotel and our favorite was Botanist, to their bar area, rooms, spa, gym and location which is close by many places to see.

No issues with execution of deliveries pre-arranged. There were even little treats added upon guest arrival (nice touch). You can definitely count on this office to provide the 5-star service. This lobby is a Vancouver dining must and it has live music almost every time I go. It rates up there with Lyft in my top 3. The ambiance is second to none and totally non-pretentious. Take your hottest date or family, complete with toddlers, and feel right at home.

One of the best lobby and bar in Vancouver, it is gorgeous and so classy with live music! The foods and drinks are fantastic!

I love the decor here and spaciousness inside. I know whatever I order, it’s going to be delicious. It’s a great date spot.

This was my 15th or so visit and it was perfect as usual. From Ryan to Sandy to Patrick and all the others always make you feel so welcomed at the door. Mahmoud was fantastic to deal with, he quickly addressed an issue and I enjoyed my 11 nights delightfully. By far the best hotel in Canada.

Absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed a night here mid-week, so we had time to hit the spa, the coffee shop, and the lounge as well as ordering room service!

Checking in was super easy as was valeting our vehicle. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but they were nice enough to text us once it was.

It was our 10th anniversary, and they were kind enough to send us a bottle of champagne. It was lovely.

The room had a beautiful view and lots of space.

Overall the service was fantastic, as it always is. The location is great and super close to restaurants, Christmas activities, and anything else you might need.

Also, if you want room service, know that it will be piping hot and on time to the minute, and the food will be spectacular.

The Pac Rim is in an ideal location and your first impression is a lovely one. From the onset, the staff was attentive and excellent. Our room (king pool View Suite) was clean, maintained and well-appointed. We really enjoyed the fireplace on the patio and the full-sized dining table for the kid’s meals. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms spacious—especially the ensuite. There was ample storage space, which so many hotels miss the mark on these days. All our meals were excellent, save for one. Room service staff are so personable and enjoyable, specifically Carmen. Housekeeping staff were excellent and went above and beyond—I have severe allergies and they were very meticulous in ensuring our toiletries and linens complied with my needs. The hotel itself remains pristine, while many hotels of its age have started to show considerable wear. The pool was lovely, but it could be a few degrees warmer this time of year. One matter of contention is that they didn’t honour my loyalty drink comps when I settled our bill. I am a Diamond member and our bill was almost $8k for a long weekend.so I feel this was kind of a slap in the face to a very loyal client. That said, overall our stay was excellent as it usually is with Fairmont hotels.

Our stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim was lavish and relaxing. The hotel services were nigh perfect. I would recommend this hotel resort to anyone looking for pampering and luxury.

Everything was perfect except the beds, for some reason neither me or my friend slept well all three nights we stayed here

Have a drink in the lobby bar! A must visit whilst in Vancouver. Fantastic choice of food and beverage. Live entertainment!

This hotel is simply amazing. My nephews bday party was held here over the weekend. The staff were super attentive. Food was great, drinks were amazing. The service from the valet all the way to the the third level was impressive!

Can't go wrong with any Fairmont locations. Staff has always been pleasant to communicate with. They treat you right the moment you approach the front door. Had a great stay and will continue to choose Fairmont wherever the journey takes us.

First class from the moment you enter the spacious, inviting lobby. Excellent food options in their restaurants and comfort and spacious rooms. GREAT centralized location with VERY competent and friendly staff.

I was there having a drink with friends and it was very enjoyable indeed. Live music and lighting added to the warm atmosphere.

Stayed there for the night, it was gorgeous. Everything from the lobby, to our hotel room, to the service we were provided was perfect and exactly what I wanted, I was very impressed! I do think they need to update the pictures on their website because the rooms are A LOT better than the pictures they have up. I will definitely be coming again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

One of the classiest hotels in the city.

I highly recommend checking out special drinks on the second floor.

If you book ahead of time, I'd also recommend that you look into booking the spa WELL ahead of your trip. The spa gets booked up quickly and is a lovely experience.

Side note, the sushi is surprisingly good for a hotel!

Sara from the gold room was the saving grace of our trip. She helped us when our room was mixed up and made us top priority.

Without Sara, our anniversary weekend would of been ruined.

Was on hold for an hour, just wanting to ask a simple question, whoever is answering the phones currently is downright disrespectful.

Definitely won’t be coming here anytime soon.

This Fairmont location is truly a luxurious place to stay away from home. From their details at the front door (the flower walls are BEAUTIFUL) to the scent in the main lobby, you immediately feel so relaxed when just walking into the hotel.

We stayed for a couple of days during the heat wave in Vancouver, and found the experience lovely. There were issues with check-in due to the hotel being short-staffed (understandable, after a year and half of the pandemic) plus this unprecedented weather flux, causing rooms to be not available until 8: 30 pm. However, the hotel was gracious in recognizing the inconvenience caused, and Sloan and Brandon as directors at the hotel rectified the problem appropriately and with excellent customer-oriented approaches.

The pool at Fairmont can be busy and I would recommend swimming before 9: 00 am. It is a heated outdoor pool and you just feel so refreshed afterwards.

Too bad that the spa was something I could not get to during this stay. Looking forward to coming back for a massage!

Very nice Hotel Unfortunately the Interior Designers for the G Rest/Coffee shop haven't a clue about Comfort instead Don't allow people to actually stay and enjoy being there!

Great stay, thank you for the lovely room. Fairmont Gold Chef Jay, and the Fairmont Gold service staff were great, nice lounge with superb view of the harbour. Nice amenities. In room dining was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is beautiful but service was extremely displeasing, over 2 hour waits for room service when told only an hour wait and super short staffed.

The stay was fine however the booking experience was horrendous. I will not be staying at a Fairmont again due solely to this. At one point the individual taking my reservation (Dave) gave me a condescending tone. This is not the prefessionalism one expects from such a place.

Everything was top notch but the gold lounge. Please save yourself some money and DO not purchase this extra package. We got no food to nibble on. Also the pool they have is the size of a kids pool.

Simply the best Americano I have had at the Gold Lounge during evening canapés. Enjoyed the duck confit, lamb ribs, and biscuits especially. Great service from Nick and Patrick. The rooms, as expected, were above expectations. Keep up the great service.

The gold lounge is a waste of money. Save yourself and don't ever get it. Everything else is top notch!

My husband and I had a 3 night stay for our wedding. A relative had kindly booked the stay for us using his Friends & Family rate, specifying that it was for our wedding. This was our first time staying at a Fairmont property. We were upgraded from City view to Harbour view which was the highlight of our stay. We were surprised however that we never received a "room drop" considering our special event- no dessert upon checking in or on our wedding day. On the evening of our wedding, we returned from dinner and found a bottle of champagne and a card which turned out to be from my sister (it also appeared the staff member who brought the champagne to our room tossed the empty brown paper bag on top of our belongings). There also seemed to be some miscommunication as my relative had put his card on file to surprise us by covering our stay, however I was asked for my card which they charged upon check out. While we did enjoy our stay, it felt pretty mediocre considering it is a 5 star hotel and nothing was done to acknowledge our special event.

Excellent, friendly service from the bell guys, reception desk, cleaning staff, and the spa. We came Nov 27-30 from out of town to celebrate our 3rd anniversary in Vancouver. Enjoyed our private jacuzzi!

Very disappointed with Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver BC! Every time we stayed there the lobby, lounge and raw bar were full of mostly locals and we didn’t have a place to sit. The only option we had was in the upstairs restaurant for dinner or to be confined to our room. Not what we look for in a five star hotel! They should try harder to accommodate their hotel guests who are there just for a few days and can’t enjoy the hotels amenities because there’s no place to stay. And on the weekend in the evening the hotel lounge is loud and feels more like a night club than a downtown five star hotel!
Also we were disappointed with the hotel decorations before Christmas which were very limited. The lounge and main lobby are full of plastic plants and flowers. Not attractive at all for a five star hotel. It looks like you are at Michaels Store.
And one more thing, the outdoors jacuzzi is so small and the same story. Anytime we wanted to go it was full of people.
Very unpleasant stay over all and it didn’t happen just once!

Top notch Hotel. You can expect the best from staff and amenities. The Willow stream spa is excellent as well. Great way to relax for as long as you need to.

Place is amazing, stayed here at least 20 times over the passed 2 years and theres no where else i would. Amazing staff, perfect location and for what you get the price is so reasonable. Door guys are awesome, love ya robinnn haha.

Beautiful space. Usually live music after 5. I love to just sit with a book by the lobby lounge fireplace with a charcuterie order. If Taka is working at the sushi bar, definitely get the omakase. Very good service all round.

Enjoyed the evening at two of the lounges. On the ground floor enjoyed not overly loud entertainment while drinking a variety of scotch drinks. Staff were prompt, pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed sashimi and sushi with our drinks. Wasabi wasn't clumpy and sashimi was fresh. Came back later in the evening and went to the Botanist lounge. We sat at the bar and were served by a couple of gentlemen who could mix anything. I was boring and drank 18 year old Macallan with an engraved large ice cube. Mrs had two of their specialty drinks, 'What the Flower' (Gin, electric daisies, cherry blossom tea, lemon, ginger, and cardamom) and 'Poetry in motion' (vodka, grapes, elder flower, rhubarb, lemon, and champagne) I had sips and despite not liking mixed drinks, these were pleasantly delightful. We had crispy pork belly appetizer which was probably the best we've ever had. Then we had foraged mushroom, mushroom soil, crispy piave, with hand cut freshly made tagliatelle. I can only say this, it was a rainy evening and the plan was to go out and have fun. We were elated that there was so much to do with perfect ambience, there was no need to leave the Fairmont. Coming back here for sure!

Superb view and awesome services. Every staff we dealt with was very nice and professional. Room is very clean and has state of art technology. Loved every minute of our stay!

Went to the Botanist Bar to have some of their newly released festive cocktails. My favourite was their Hot Buttered Rum. Hot, with a wonderful spiced aroma, and just really easy to drink. Perfect for these cold winter days! The bartenders at Botanist are always a pleasure and one of my key reasons for returning here. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable about what they do, and always full of conversation. They're able to have engaging conversation while still giving attention to all of the patrons, which isn't an easy feat! Definitely check out the Festive cocktails they have going on right now!

A very fine, high end hotel. Very thoughtfully planned out with a stylish flare for the fancy. A bit more than I care for in a hotel. But it’s not the style of the space that prompts me to score this hotel lower. It’s the service. Not the lack of but the delivery of the service. Perhaps I am a bit sensitive to pretentiousness but I was very put off by even the simplest of interactions with hotel staff. From the front door to the outlets to the front office. House keeping was an exception. Very responsive and attention to detail was evident each day I returned to my room. This I appreciated and it’s almost enough to make me reconsider the score. But alas, my final interaction with a staff member was so insincere it was almost laughable. No need to detail this particular experience but it’s enough for me to not recommended this hotel to anyone with fewer than 3 body guards and a portfolio so large that all matters of money ceases to exist.

I have been staying at Fairmont hotels for many years. This is the first time I have experienced such a thing by so many staff members so consistently. It’s clear that this behaviour comes from leadership on the property level. It’s a shame, because high end luxury does not come with this baggage by default.

Great place for dinner. Fine dining at it's best at the Botanist Restaurant within the hotel. Go have cocktails at the bar for some excellent entertainment and unique cocktails.

The Fairmont Pacific Rim truly deserves a 5 star rating. The staff are welcoming and attentive- the doormen, the receptionists, the concierges and the house keeping staff as well as the bar staff and servers. The manager of this hotel should be very proud of the service. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a view of both the city as well as the harbour. The lounge seemed to have continuous live music and was always busy. We had breakfast at the Botanist 3 days running and it was always fresh and delicious (although a bit pricey but it is downtown Vancouver.) We can't wait to return.

Location is easily accessible, located directly across a skytrain exit. I was here to attend a professional event at an exhibition room and the catering was great. The food was delicious. There are also a lot of options around

We where graciously upgraded to a king suite which was an amazing experience. We overlooked the pool and mountains so couldn't have asked for anything else to wake up to. The service was exceptional and everyone was very helpful! I would recommend it to anyone that needed a hotel in Vancouver!

Very luxurious with great views. Really located in a great location across from the Canada center where the cruises dock. You can rent electric bikes and the staff was attentive.

The Giovane coffee shop and bakery has a great selection of desserts. The sugar bun, which is like a large cream puff was awesome. Very fresh and light cream that was not overly sweet. A matcha version is also available.
