Don't stay here. No soundproofing. A lit of stuff is mildly broken. It's old and despite the upgrades it shows.

Nice pool though.

Spent four nites. It was the best four nites. Our room which had the most amazing tub and shower was the topping on the cake. We can't wait for our next trip to pentiction to spend more time at this hotel. It was amazing

The room we were in was recently renovated and a good size. The building and lobby aren’t fancy and new but the room was great. We had a good sleep.

Pretty good overall and I wished it was 4 or 5 stars! Nice check in gal and a nice inviting lobby area. Newly renovated too since it was a Coast hotel before. Nice hot tub jets and a clean pool area but WOW was the shower so darn hot in the pool area! Scolding hot no kidding to the max and knob was busted to get anything cold and I had a ton of shampoo in my hair. I alerted the gal when she was in there closing the pool area at 9 pm. By then I just had to get shampoo out of eyes and make it back to my room for a proper shower.

In the room it is nice and clean but very limited tv channels to watch. A lot of sports but am not always in the mood to watch mostly sports is thing. Am a big sports fan but already knew all the scores of the day and the World Series game was a cancel due to rain. No comedies! No Much Music, No CMT, just news and sports and Food Network, pretty much.

Just will go to bed early and use the 10% discount voucher at Bear's Den on site which is a staple breakfast place for me while in Penticton.

This hotel doesn't look great from outside or in the lobby but it seems the rooms have had cosmetic updates. The beds were soft. I prefer a a more firm mattress. The linens were clean. I did not appreciate that check in time wasn't until 4pm.and they wanted a $300 "Damage deposit" The staff in the attached diner were very friendly and good breakfast.

I had one of their larger rooms the window coverings blocked only 60% of the light it was like daytime at 5: 00 in the morning could not get a wink of sleep not worth the amount I paid for the room will not be going back to this property the photo was taken at 5am.

Really poor experience. We had a long day and were looking forward to our jetted tub and walk in shower since all the hot tubs were closed. The called us right before check in to say the room wasn't available. Put us in some small unremarkable room. Very disappointed.

Staying at Hotel Penticton was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be returning. This hotel is extra accommodating and staff went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The Bear's Den Restaurant that is attached provided great home cooked meals and had a quaint rustic feel. The location is excellent, with cool walking trails, restaurants and a tim hortons right near by. The room was clean and the bed super new and comfy.

Lazy cleaning: chair was gross, dust above the beds header. Otherwise very clean where it was cleaned. Perhaps pay your staff better to clean?

Polite staff but: inferior hotel, mucky rooms, cheap service

Constructive footnotes:
- The air conditioning from the second floor drips right onto your head at the entrance.
- The toilet paper was less than half full and I expected there to be fresh roll given the pandemic
- The admittedly old, torn, tattered rag in place of a white fluffy towel is not doing anybody a favor
- there's mold around the tub and the back splash caulking needs to be redone
- the bathroom positioning is not standard and it's too close to the wall
- the sink was not spotless
- there were gross hair strands on the toilet seats
- the first room's air conditioning did not work; when rooma are reserved and confirmation has been received, the room should be at a reasonable temperature upon guest's arrival.rather than having the guests move to a different room at midnight.

Clean room, TV was very outdated, front desk personnel were lovely and welcoming.
Could improve on some of the hospitality areas, like placing bottled water in the room.

Great hotel, super friendly staff. Great room prices and owned by a local man not a huge corporation who doesn't care.

We were not aware the hotel was undergoing major renovations until we arrived, however that did not change the excellent and welcoming service we received. Our room was very spacious and clean and we loved both the balcony and the spa like bathroom. Our room was also extremely quiet and the bed was beyond relaxing. We will definitely return and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very disappointed. This as a Coast hotel was our spot for many years and it was great. New ownership and its not being managed well. Over 4 weeks and several phone calls later we finally received a refund for a date change- terrible communication. Stayed here last week for two nights. We reserved a king room with upgraded soaker tub etc and when we checked in after a 15 hour drive we were told the hotel is sold out and the only room is a family room "at no extra charge". The room was old and dirty, ac didn't work, tub was mouldy and there was a long finger nail on the carpet when we walked in. Won't be back.

Great clean room and excellent price. Lots of space. Friendly staff. Easy walk to Okanogan Lake. Front entrance under renovation but not an issue. We would return.

Communication with this hotel has been anything but pleasant. I had booked a hotel room back in January for May long weekend. Then Covid-19 happened & cancelled our original plans. I went to cancel my hotel reservation at the start of May & called into the hotel directly, no one answered so I left a voicemail. Days later still no communication from the hotel, so I called again, and once again left a voicemail with no reply back. So I decided to call the hotel chain directly only to find out that they were unable to find my reservation in their main system and they once again gave me the hotels direct line to call, and once again I left a voicemail with no communication from management. Finally on May 12 (booking was for May 16) I get an email from Tim Hogg Assistant Manager of the hotel saying that they see I have a reservation for the 16th and that the hotel is offering free cancellations due to the current situation & to just reply back or call in to cancel. I immediately reply back stating that I want to cancel, and once again no reply or communication from them. It’s now over a week since I canceled my reservation and still no refund or any communication from management. Now I understand that covid has created a headache for everyone, but a little communication would be appreciated. Very disappointed with the whole run around that I have had to deal with and would not recommend this hotel based on the lack of communication from management and slow process of refunds

Well the room they gave me was not up too my expectations. I have stayed there before and i recommend the jacuzzi room the best. The room i had a raised bathroom floor and if not careful u could hurt yourself.
