Loved staying here! The front desk was very kind and very helpful!
The price is perfect and breakfast is also included! Amazing:) the rooms were very clean and comfortable! I loved my stay! Would recommend here!

Gave 2 stars because it's cheap.but nice dove soaps n stuff.but stinky room, got some air freshener and sprayed around floors and curtains and shower curtains.next day went back to stink smell.plus we had neighbors all down the line who look like active drug addicts living there and they stare out the doors and windows.creepy

The waffle maker was fussy but hey in the end it taste good and got full off of the food

Franchement, je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs, tout était très bien. Le personnel est extrêmement agréable et dévoué, s'il manque la moindre chose, il suffit de le dire et ils se mettent en 4 pour vous satisfaire.
Chambre bien équipée, propre, lit confortable, salle de bain agréable, que du positif.
Et un petit déjeuner tout à fait correct.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Pictures online aren’t anything like what we stayed in, I’m guessing most of the 5 star reviews are fake.

We Booked 1 nights stay here as a stepping stone on our travels. Far from a hotel and a very questionable motel.pictures look nice online but ended up with a bright orange room which smelt of damp fags and with a smell which took days to wash off. The room was dirty, grimy and extremely dated. Bed looked unchanged and had dried blood on the sheets. Bathroom had a family of small ants which was probably a highlight of the room. All the doors seem to have dents in and ours had obviously been kicked in. A very weak repair had been made which left the door slightly open, we had to barricade the door at night as we were petrified. Windows could be opened from the outside as the locks were all broken. Honestly the list goes on.

Outside at night seems to come alive with junkies and if you love open drug taking and meth then Kamloops and this dirty motel is for you.

Please don’t put money in these peoples pocket. I wish we just slept in the car as we ended up leaving at the early hours in the morning as we just had enough.

Don't book! The Howard Johnson is very old and run down. There was a very unpleasant smell of smoke in the room, which has probably been in the walls for years. The rooms are approximately 10 meters from the main road. I would never book again!

On a road trip found this motel for $55 a night.what a bargain! Breakfast included!

We were upgraded to a king room and it was huge! Nice comfy bed, en suite bathroom, coffee machine, microwave oven, sofa.a home from home!

Only downside was the bathroom door wouldn't close properly but an easy fix.

Breakfast was wide and varied.fresh batter for waffles, bagels, fruit juice, coffee, tea, a great value for money stay!

Our stay at this motel was well worth the money. Me and my friends felt safe in our room, and the breakfast was delicious.

The motel is pretty old and run down. There was a strong smell of old cigarette smoke in our room. The bed was clean. I cannot recommend this motel under any circumstances!

Great place! Quiet, felt safe and secure, the rooms were tidy. The motel was great for the price. The breakfast was amazing.

It is 15 minutes walk from shopping centers. It has parking. The room is large and has a microwave and refrigerator.
The included breakfast is little and bad.

Keep in mind that this is a motel. We didn’t realize it until arrival and tried to avoid booking a motel in such a questionable area. Unfortunately we got a front facing room too, so we had to take some security measures inside the room to prevent a possible break in. We were able to see our car in the parking lot from the room so that was helpful too. We didn’t feel super unsafe in this area but we definitely kept our guard up just in case.

The rooms are ok, nothing major to complain about. It’s sufficient if you’re only staying for one night.

Service was average. Also note that past 11 pm, the office is closed and you’ll need to follow the instructions on the sign posted on the door. Luckily we got there right as the front desk staff was closing up. She was helpful and friendly.

We didn’t stay long, we were only there to sleep and left early the next morning. Overall our stay wasn’t bad, just don’t expect much since it’s a cheap motel.

It was a bed. Breakfast was meh. The syrup for the waffles was horrendous and should be thrown away.

I booked this hotel for my wife through the Wyndham app. Really wish I would have read the reviews before I did so. From what she has described this sounds like your typical hotel run by your typical people that have plans of getting rich by owning a hotel in Canada.
Remember that good customer service and vetting your guests a little better could result in more revenue that would allow you to renovate your hotel. I’m sure your response to my one star review of your lousy hotel will be generic and vapid. I hope the great Wyndham hotel chain takes their name away from you. Shame on you.

We were surprised to see the Howard Johnson name posted on such a rundown motel style walk-up building and that they call themselves a hotel when it clearly looks like a motel from the 50's or 60's with 80's decor in the rooms. It's very dirty. The traffic driving by is loud, and the cars coming and going at all hours are loud through the paperthin walls/door/window. It sounded like the people coming and going in the rooms above us were going to come through the ceiling it was so loud.

Great staff, everything was clean and comfortable and price is great. Good job Supreet and team!

The hotel is very very terrible, old, run down and dingy. We got a corner room and it was so terrible that we looked for a new hotel even though we had already paid for it. The staff was friendly and the location would have been nice, but that's about it.

1st room they gave me smelled like smoke; so they gave me a different room at my request.pretty good value for the price.stayed here on 90 degree days.the AC units work, slightly undersized, but need hours and cool down the rooms sufficiently; finicky.set the ac to the coolest you can 61, make sure it's on AC mode, fan set on auto.the compressor kicks off sometimes for 3-5 mintues; but it's normal.then i left i would book elsewhere if hotter.surpisingly good location to the best part of the town to the north, walkable cute area short 5min drive

sheets were clean.bathroom fixtures a little beatup but water pressure good and water temperature was good.tub and drain worked.tub is within 10 years.windows actually insulated the noise pretty well, i stayed on teh 2nd floor and it was one of the quieter places; quieter than more expensive places I stayed on the same trip.

The rooms here are ok. Good to stay for a night or two. The kitchen is without utensils. There's no venting system above the stove. We paid for a kitchenette but got scared to use it because it looked unsafe. Continental breakfast was a joke. There was bread, bagel, oatmeal and waffles, half hour before the breakfast ended there was no butter or cream cheese and the only protein they had (eggs) was all finished while the breakfast room was full and hard to move around. That room was so cramped up and the heat in there I had to skip the breakfast. I would recommend this place but with precautions. Oh and the coffee maker in the room would only make one cup at a time. Gotta let the coffee maker cool down to make another cup.

Typical roadside motel, it is used to stop along the way and sleep. In the nearby streets there are many drug addicts at full time of the day.

You get what you pay for.

It's a relatively cheap motel and you can see that by the way to rooms are set up but everything was really well cleaned and the breakfast was really good. Also, the front desk was very nice and respectful.

Yeah, the furniture is quite old. Yeah, the motel is next to a loud street. But after all, it was an inexpensive stay.

If you set your expectations accordingly to what you pay, it will be a good stay.

Good value for the price. Room clean, recently refurbished, bed comfortable. Continental breakfast was good. Heating system did not work. Shower curtain rod was installed too high so water leaked on bathroom floor.
