Have you ever paid double the price a room normally is here just to sleep less than you would normally? We unfortunately paid to stay here for just that with the base of the restaurant going an hour later than we were advised was quiet hour. Save your sanity and your dollars stay somewhere else.

Honestly. If you want a 10/10 dining experience in Squamish, please visit Howe Sound Brewing! I Dined here for Christmas and it was a very exceptional experience! I love the ambiance! The staff members (i.e. Bartenders, servers, ect) were very welcoming, friendly and professional.the Food is absolutely delicious! (the Turkey Roulade 10/10, the braised shortrib was absolutely delicious) and the beer was good! Also I have the pleasure of meeting the chef Adnan. He is very friendly, helpful and respectful! I really appreciated his help and recommendations of Whistler´s nightlife bars.
This is a worthy place to visit in Squamish. I look forward to dining in Howe Sound Brewing in the Future!

This looks like it should be “the place to go” in Squamish, it’s got a lot going for it - size and layout. Waited to be seated at the door of a largely empty room with one busy barkeep serving, we approached the bar. Another barkeep appeared and brusquely told me “we do table service here take a seat”, we felt very unwelcome. I asked her if she knew much about English beer (so I could see which one (of the many) to get, didn’t engage with me - but to be fair did offer me a sample of beer that I asked about. Ordered food and a very pleasant barkeep -hence the three stars-delivered a salad (which was very nice and was tasty) and fish and chips - unfortunately the fish was barely warm in the middle. Another barkeep took away my plate -without asking - with an (admittedly small) handful of chips on! I’m here two weeks, will be eating out three times a day, every day and had hoped I’d get a regular place to go and graze through the menu. I’m disappointed to say I can’t recommend and won’t be going back.

Great restaurant, very good beer, pleasant environment and the rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Great location with fantastic food and the finest craft beers around. If the impressive list of awards and accolades doesn’t do it for you, I assure you the wonderful and attentive team will, with their thoughtful and attentive service. Special mention to Ilias for his knowledgeable recommendations, and to Kyley and Emily for the warm welcome! Can’t wait to go back.

Myself and four friends went here after a night of camping. I've been here in the past and thought it was great so I don't know what's happened over the months but yikes.

I won't break it down into every scenario but everything was slow, very slow. Normally it's forgivable for a Sunday when everyone is coming in for breakfast/brunch but the place didn't have much going on.

After nursing our flat beer for 40 minutes, our food arrived which was ripe with a comedy of errors. I ordered a simple plate of onion rings. The server mishandled the food, and the crown-jewel onion ring (which was 1 out of the 8 on the plate) hit the floor. Instead of an offer to replace the food or some sort of discount for dropping my food. She glanced upon my disappointed face only to laugh and say, "my bad".

That pretty much topped off my experience. I left very dissatisfied and I'll be making a concerted effort to avoid this once-fine establishment.

My partner and I have been here before and have always had a positive and pleasant experience. This past Canada Day, however, was extremely disappointing and we felt that it needed to be acknowledged. The server assigned to our table treated us very poorly from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. We were appalled at the treatment we received.

We were seated at 2: 45pm and were interested in ordering from the Happy Hour menu. While we were deciding what to order, our server told us we had 15 minutes until Happy Hour begun, so we ordered drinks and the Brussel sprouts to split in the meantime. When she brought our drinks, she accidentally gave me my partner's drink and gave my partner mine, which was no big deal. We just said "oops, other way around. " She seemed irritated. The beer and Caesar were fantastic though.

Once 3: 00pm rolled around, our server had not yet come back to check on us and we had to flag her over to take our Happy Hour order. We had the Happy Hour menu in front of us and pointed to what we wanted while saying our order out loud. My partner ordered the personal pepperoni pizza, and I ordered the Caesar salad and the ale & cheddar soup. When I asked for the soup, the server responded with "well which soup? " which confused me because there is only one soup on the entire menu.

Once our food arrived, I was surprised that there was grilled chicken on my salad. I did not order any additional grilled chicken, and I checked the menu again in case there was a chicken Caesar salad on the menu and that there may have been a mix-up, but there wasn't. So I assumed that this is how it came. The pizza and salad were good, however the soup was extremely salty. I have had this soup before and I love it, but this time it was too salty to bear. She seemed even more irritated when I asked to return the soup. She never once came to check on us, and we always had to wave at her to grab her attention to which many times she ignored us. I was listening to how she was engaging with the other tables she was waiting on and she seemed to be relatively pleasant with them.

Once our bill came, we were shocked (but not surprised, considering how we were treated the entire time) that we were charged for regular menu items, not the Happy Hour items (I believe the only Happy Hour item that was charged was the pizza). Our server knew we were there for Happy Hour and we literally pointed to the Happy Hour menu when ordering. She charged me for a regular menu Caesar salad with ADDED grilled chicken, which I never asked for. Plus, she didn't take the soup off the bill. She tried to argue with us, but we politely told her that she was wrong. She huffed, went to revise the bill, came back and said that she now took the soup off, and "gave a discount" on the salad. Again, we ordered the Happy Hour Caesar salad, without added chicken. She reluctantly stormed off again and revised it to the correct way it should have been all along and did not say another word to us.

We were left feeling humiliated and in disbelief with the service we received. We felt personally attacked, for no good reason. We felt like she was deliberately trying to give us a hard time given how many issues came up, completely unnecessarily. One or two honest mistakes, no big deal - we understand that we are all human and not perfect. But there were multiple issues, one after another, and with every issue there was never any apology, and we received very short and passive aggressive comments.

I do not want to make the assumption that it had anything to do with race, but my partner is a person of colour (Indian). This experience, we hope, is an isolated one, and we do intend on returning in the future, based off of our previous experiences. This particular one was just disappointing, and left us completely speechless and disheartened.

Great place, nice simple clean room.
Front desk managed to save us a room at a good price. Timing was perfect, a couple had to leave early and we moved in, thank you.
Brew was very good, (nitro stout) mmmmm, bottle of water on table upon sitting, great service and atmosphere. Just had Brussel sprout appy, very good. Waitress was lovely and friendly. Cheese cake, sorry it was terrible. Rubbery and tasteless, dont order. Possibly we got an old one.
Minor. Fix your cheese cake already!

We stopped by this brewery for drinks after hiking the Chief. It wasn’t that busy on s Saturday evening. The food and drinks were good but the service wasn’t. Our server made us really uncomfortable. We felt rushed because if her and left earlier than planned because of it.

After we had paid, and we’re sitting at our table finishing drinks, table of about 9 of us, one of our international friends, did not leave a tip. The server then came over and asked, if we were aware that there is a tipping culture in Canada. Servers name was drew and super disrespectful

Terrible customer service for the restaurant. Took over 5 minutes to be greeted before even seating down. Then over 10 minutes to be asked what we want. They weren’t in any hurry to get our drinks or food. Website didn’t have the correct menu and happy hour menu which is what we were looking for. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes.
Not sure how anything taste though.

Experienced the brew pub not the Inn. Service was good. Good was very satisfying. Hot pizza, cold beer. Great selection of taps including rotating seasonal specials.

Spent the night in Squamish, stopped in and had a great time! Good pints, friendly servers, and a wonderful local drinking spot vibe. Shared a drink with an old man and watched American Ninja Warrior on the TV. I know that last bit doesn’t really matter, but to me just added to the fun and relaxed, feel at home vibe of the spot.

I don’t usually write reviews but had to on this disappointing place.

My friends and I travelled from the other side of Canada and were excited to stop here for lunch to finish off our vacation.
When we arrived we were shocked at the service provided by most of the staff.

First we were greeted by the hostess with a rude remark before seating us.
Then when a server finally decided to come to our table she (with short hair) was absolutely rude and huffed and puffed under her mask when we asked simple questions about drinks. Then pawned our table off to another server.

The second server (who greeted us) tried to provide better service however the first server put a horrible taste in our mouths and had already ruined our experience there was no going back.

Food and drinks were decent but nothing you can’t find at any other pub.

Now for the best part: When we decided to bring up our concerns about the first server to the second second server, the first server stood behind her LAUGHING at our complaint. It was extremely disrespectful and inhospitable. I have never experienced someone in the hospitality industry that was so rude and so unaccepting of their own actions.

Our entire group will never return or recommend this place.

Stopped here on the way back from Whistler to buy the best beer ever … all hail the King!
This particular beer is near impossible to find locally (greater Vancouver area) so it was necessary to stop and grab a dozen tall boys.
I’ve eaten here before and the food is great pub food. The staff are great here.
Definitely going to make this little road trip to spend a day in Squamish, have lunch and grab some beer.
If you like Hefeweizen beer, then you really need to try this one. Just leave some for me

Decent beers. Foods are fair but in a good size if you are hungry.
It's worth of a visit.

I can’t believe they got rid of their warm hemp brownies with ice cream, that was the main reason we used to eat here. Tried the chocolate mousse and it wasn’t nearly as good. Hot chicken sandwich was alright but kind of dry, not enough sauce on it. Overall disappointed, this place used to have better food choices.

Stayed here and looked for hotels with air conditioners on filter from trivago, this placed popped up and looked good enough. When we got into the room, no AC they give a fan instead. However, the hallway are air conditioned. This is massively false advertising. It was hot in the rooms and it wasn’t even that hot outside. The hot room made it hard to sleep. The room wasn’t very clean either and trust me im not picky with that usually. Also, WAY over priced. We booked a couple weeks in advance and paid a total of 207 bucks with tax, if you look it up now for two weeks in advance its 87 bucks. What a ripoff, stay anywhere but this place!

Great food, beer, service and ambiance. We have come as a family and as a couple and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Tuna poke bowl is my absolute favourite and the sky pilot is my go to beer for summer 2021.

Obsessed with the raspberry cream ale here. I had a good experience here in general, but that ale was *chef’s kiss. * I was a little disappointed they were out of pizza when we visited, but the burger surprisingly made up for it. I’m a big burger fan but I don’t usually order them out because I find most pub style restaurants char them into something resembling a hockey puck. Not this place. It was fully cooked through, but still juicy and perfectly seasoned. Our server was also lovely. If you’re in Squamish, I highly recommend you check this place out, even if you have to wait as we did.

Love coming by this place. Food isn’t as good as it used to be but they have the best beer selection. Come here for the brews, pints and flights! Order a King Hefe if it’s available as they are seasonal.

Booked and paid in full to stay here for 2 nights, but on arrival they told us they did not have the correct booking for us and they were full, leaving us high and dry. They did not offer us any alternative accommodation or compensation (they didn't even offer to process the refund) and almost everywhere in town was full. Thankfully we had booked through hotels.com (the Inn was quick to blame hotels.com for the booking error but I find it hard to believe) who were able to secure us alternative accommodation at a nicer hotel nearby at no extra cost. The f u attitude of this hotel was a complete disgrace and I would caution anyone from staying here unless you have a solid plan b in case your booking is not honoured.

Edit: to provide some context to the Howe's reply. Howe did nothing to solve our situation and it was hotels.com that ultimately put us up in an alternative hotel. This was not free of charge however they were able to match the rate that we would have paid at Howe. So I can only extend my appreciation to hotels.com for getting us somewhere to sleep during such a busy week. Howe Sound did absolutely nothing (and offered nothing) despite the booking problem being their fault (I had booked way back in March for an August 9 date and they incorrectly inputed August 3 into their system, which clearly sounded like some sort of manual process on their end). Howe Sound had the audacity to send me a generic email after the screwup thanking me for my stay with the correct dates on that email!

This was my 4th or 5th time going to the restaurant at Howe Sound Brewing in Squamish. It’s been excellent every time! The space is beautiful with giant windows and a view of the Chief. Great patio out back too. Service is always really friendly and welcoming. Everything is so tasty and great quality. I’m a big fan of their pizza and salads! Portions and prices are great too. I highly recommend this place!

I wanted to reserve one night for work with a credit card and pay with my debit card upon check out, and this "business" refused to accept anything other than credit as payment. When asked why they said said it came from head office. No where on its website or any of the multiple hotel booking sites does it say that this is a cashless hotel.

Worst. Business. Policy. EVER!

Would have liked to try but we were refused brunch for take out. I have never encountered a business that offers take out as an option but not for brunch for some strange reason.

Amazing experience, great food, and great beer! Can't recommend this place enough, throughly enjoyed my time here. The king heffy is the best beer I've had, definitely coming down again for more!

The Howe Sound Brewery is a must when your in Squamish. It’s a large pub with a nice patio. They have a good selection of pizza and sandwiches and many other dishes. The beer selection is large too. You can do a flight and enjoy a 4 at once.

There was a waiting time of 30 minutes while most of the tables were empty. We understand that's because of not having enough staff probably. The girl at the entrance was not really welcoming neither.
Once we got there, the atmosphere is really dead and doesn't give you a good feeling. The music is awful. Service was good though.
Oh my gourd pizza was good, but not the lime chicken.

After enjoying their beers for some time we finally made it there! The staff was phenomenally friendly and welcoming, our server was next level. The food and beer was icing on the cake. We will definitely be back. Thanks loves!

Great spot with patio seating. I had the avocado toast and it was perfect. My friends got the climber bowl and the chicken sandwich which were also good.

Our favorite break spot in Squamish! Always cozy and welcoming, food, beer and staff never disappoint. This time the dirty fries were particularly yummy, and our friendly server brought us complimentary beers because she thought we had to wait too long for our food. There was even awesome freestyle skiing on the big screen!

Been here for a beer/snack on my way back from Whistler multiple times, and it's been enjoyable. However, my experience with one of their staff members today completely changed that perception.

To the owner: If you're going to descriminate folks from the city based on biases, I hope you come to the realization that you're running a hospitality business.

Went in with some friends hungry after a day of climbing. Was given the option to upgrade my side to a poutine and heck yea, poutine is awesome. Turns out the "upgraded side" which was pretty expensive ~5$ was about 8 fries, 2 curds and a teaspoon of gravy filling half a cute little bowl suitable for a small cat. I swear I'm not being dramatic, the portion was hilariously small, maybe 4 bites. Literally went home and made more food after a 50$ meal.

Mentioned to the server that it might be worth saying that upgrading to a poutine is about 1/5 the food as a regular side (compared to what everyone else at my table got). Was told that cheese curds are expensive and they have to cover their costs. I thought this response was weird seeing as I was charged for the upgrade.

Friends joked that I was generous saying 1/5.

Anyways, beers were great and main was ok. Portions for everyone else seemed to be suitable for adults. Overall a pretty bad experience - would not recommend eating here.

Dinner with the family at the Brewery. Staff were super friendly and hardworking. Clean place, nice and open and well marked for safety (u know the drill.distance, masks, sanitizer, etc.) and Food was great. Picked up the Stout and Porter for home. This was our first time here and we'll be back for couples date night next time!

Clean hotel, great stay. Very comfortable beds. Good location. Convenient brewery near by. Excellent beers and cocktails.

The vibe of this restaurant is awesome, I've been here many times and usually have a great experience. The food and the service was always exceptional! Not this time. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess but sadly our waitress was not as helpful or friendly. She didn't seem to like being asked questions such as "what comes with the ribs for the nightly ribs special? " or "what light beers are on tap? ". She literally dropped our food on our table and took off - didn't ask if we wanted anything else - my beer glass was empty and she did not bring the dip for the wings. (Luckily there was another young waitress nearby who helped us out and she was super friendly.).
As for the food - the salsa was mushy, brown (?) and totally tasteless, the quesno was a warm bowl of salt with a little cheese flavour and this was the first time I could not finish my fries (ever!) because they were so incredibly salty.
Very disappointing, we always loved visiting this place when we go to Squamish or Whistler but I think we will try another establishment next time. The prices weren't cheap at Howe Sound so we don't the possibility of wasting our money next time.

It was okay. We had to wait for 50 minutes for the food. They didn’t even say sorry for the delay. We ordered beer mussels and pizza. Mussels were over cooked and the broth was very bland. The pizza was alright. Definitely not worth to wait for 50 minutes.

Very fun and busy brewpub. The food took a little while, but that wasn’t surprising since the place was packed. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Beer was excellent!

The service was kind of slow but our waiter was lovely. I’d only go if everyone is enthusiastic about craft beer because the food is ok.

The beer is good but we waited 30 mins for a table (when the bar was completely open and no one offered that to us) and waited over an hour for food. We ONLY ordered appetizers. We’re only a party of 2 and the place isn’t busy. Very disappointing - won’t be coming back here and definitely don’t recommend it.

Always good pub food and they serve beer 'flights'. We loke the fish tacos. Good service. Outdoor patio looking at the famous climbimg rock, the Stawamish Chief. Fabulous great room indoors. Feels like a mountain lodge.

Good food options and great beer selection. But they enforce 18% gratuity for parties of 6 and more; which would be reasonable if it meant the servers paid more attention to their tables.

Bring all your friends here after a day of hard climbing. Or sometimes before if the night before was a little rough and you need a pick me up. Lol

The food here is AMAZING! The prawn pizza was delicious. They have all the staples of a brewery, pizza, burgers, appetizers and of course delicious specialties. Plus. BEER! Haha. Beer was good. Tried a few newer brews and my friends had some usuals. The interior has plenty of seating, TVs for the sportsmen, and a bar! Check them out!

Bathroom needs work. Too small. Urinals too close. No paper towels. Air dryer pitiful and you have to pull the handle on the door to get out.with wet hands.

We stayed at the Inn and dined at the restaurant several times. It’s such a lovely spot in Squamish. Beer is authentically west coast craft style. Service is consistently great from restaurant to front desk staff. This is a must-stop place for us every time we visit Squamish.

Busy place. Service speed was probably hampered by the number of people. Food was tasty. We sat outside and had a nice view of the mountains.

Great beer! It is a large space so quite noisy. Very popular, wait line and took a long time to get our food. We took our food to go. Also great bar food but not all menu items were available to go.

Service was fantastic. My full Ceasar salad was quite small although the salmon I ordered with it was massive. I think I ended up paying about $17 for a salad.

We waited over one hour for a burger and pizza, then the burger was cold and pizza too hot, didn't tasted good at all:/. Pretty disappointed

Try the deep fried cream cheese! You won’t regret it! Cool casual bar / restaurant with a huge selection of exotic tasting award winning beers. All wood interior and friendly service and staff. This is part of a larger hotel with several rooms and another restaurant on the side. Usually packed so expect a small wait. Helpful?

Nice place to eat and drink after a day of adventure out in Squamish. Solid food and beer. Their brewery tour was a first for me and very interesting! Was able to buy a few beers home as well!

Their Garibaldi Honey pale ale I tasted reminded me of crappy home brew I had once. There is a reason I only had it once.

Location is good, on a quiet corner of the street. Parking is easy to find on the street. They don't take reservations. But you can sit in the bar area while waiting. Food is average. Beers are great!

Good food and a fun environment. I always find the prices a bit high for what I get but there are some very good menu items, particularly the vegetarian chili. Great beer selection as well.

Our favourite place to unwind after a long day of climbing. My husband enjoys their eclectic variety of beers available, and I would keep coming back for the buffalo chicken burger alone. They have a great patio and lots of indoor seating as well. Always friendly staff. Worth the wait if there is one.

If you find yourself here make sure you bring beer home with you, Megadestroyer and Pothole Filler are delicious and criminally hard to find in stores.

A great place to go after camping overnight at Garhibabi Lake! The hamburgers, Garibaldi and crispy chicken, and the tuna poke were very good! And of course the beer is always good. The three dip platter was also good as an appetizer.

A great place to stop between Vancouver and Whistler. Hidden at the end of Squamish, it's easy to park, have plenty of space inside, the food was good, and the service fantastic. Really can't ask for more, as a lunch stop on a road trip.

We tried the Brussels sprouts, which came in plenty and really well done, and the steak, which was on the OK side. The pizza was eaten whole by a kid that usually takes a bite, and a starter of wings to start was very good.
