Howie's set my mother up with a very nice 2008 Subaru Impreza as she was in great need of a replacement vehicle. We got a free inspection on the car, and to my delight, their service department completed an astonishing amount of complimentary service and repair work on the vehicle; all without my prompting. Howie introduced me to Allan who took a look at my financial situation to see which vehicle would fit in my budget.

Dropped my truck off to have a full brake job done. They had my truck done before lunch and when I went to pick it up, to my surprise it was washed and my floor was vacuumed. Been a very, very long time since I’ve had service this good from any business. Even the dealership where I purchased the vehicle has never washed it when it’s been in their possession. That is definitely saying something considering I didn’t even purchase the truck from Howie… absolutely outstanding service, the best price I was quoted from anyone. Above and beyond, will recommend to anyone and will definitely be a return customer.

If you need a good used car in greater Victoria go see Howie's Car Corral. I recently had a car written off and we found a great car listed at Howie's. In my price range, one owner, all servicing records available, and in great shape. Ron answered my questions via email and when we got there to look at it he gave me all the history of how they got the car and the work they did on it to ready for sale.

There was no pressure at all at any stage in the process. I took it for a test drive and decided to buy it. Ron got the paperwork ready, Allan (sp?) organized my payment and went through the financing, and they called an independent insurance rep to arrange insurance and new plates so I could drive it home. They also welcome you to come back for servicing with their mechanics at a discount for as long as you own your vehicle.

There's a very good reason that Howie's has been in business as long as they have, and it's because they respect their buyers from beginning to end. I would recommend Howie's Car Corral to anyone looking for a new vehicle and we will be back when we need another one.

I stopped by today to ask a question regarding a financing question/concern for a vehicle that I currently own. Even though I wasn’t going to purchase another vehicle at this time I was so impressed with financial manager Allan Youngson. This man took the time to listen to my concerns and was so thoughtful in his his advice with regards to my situation.
Highly recommend this dealership, they really care that the customer is informed and are genuinely kind and approachable.

If you need a good used car this is the place! Everyone here is very nice and they work really hard to get you a great car. Edit - I had an issue with my vehicle just over a month after purchasing it. After stressing out hugely about it, I got it towed to Howies. Turns out there was a mechanical failure in the clutch. It was not covered under the complimentary Lubrico warranty, but due to the circumstances of the problem, Howie made the decision to cover the repairs in full with no cost to me. I am absolutely speechless as they did NOT have to do this. This just helps prove they are a company with sincere integrity and they truly care about their customers. I cant thank Howie, Paul and Grant enough for the whole experience I've had from the beginning to now. If i could give another five stars I certainly would!

Just got a great deal on a low mileage Kia Soul from Howie's. Our salesperson Wayne was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. He was a pleasure to deal with as were all the other staff. Before we picked up the car they put it through their 50 point inspection and then installed new brake rotors and pads, wiper blades front and back, and an oil change at their expense. Wayne, Alan and Ron are a wonderful crew that helped our family get into a newer vehicle today. Great friendly atmosphere and smiles. I've gone to this location twice to about vehicles. First time, they tried to get me to finance a completely different vehicle than what I was interested in. Second time I put in a request for a test drive of one of their vehicles for the next day, come next day, no email or call or any means of communication to confirm our deny my request. So, I had to call to ask about my request to drive and was told the person selling it would call me back. When he did call me, he informed me it would be on their lift having an inspection done but I could come by to look at it. After work I took the time to gather my wife and head over only to be told it has been sold while on the lift. No courtesy call, the salesman claimed he emailed me, but I had recieved no emails. Not only to mention not a single person is distancing or wearing masks in their small office.

I haven't purchased anything as I was accompanying my boyfriend's mother. The staff seemed relaxed and know her very well. So I'm rating based on what I've witnessed. I normally don't shop used vehicles personally but after what I've seen, I'm satisfied enough to recommend others to check the place out.
