Disgusted. Ordered the IS38+ turbo. Waited for over a month because it was on backorder. Finally came in and spent a whole day installing only to never even start the car because the turbo was defective right out of the box. Contacted HPA and was initially brushed off, saying I must've installed in incorrectly as they sent me the intruction PDF for the wrong turbo/vehicle. Finally got them to say they will warranty it. Shipped it back to them, except UPS stole it and magically I didn't purchase the insurance (even though I told the UPS employee twice that I needed it). HPA doesn't care, UPS doesn't care, and I tried disputing the charge with Discover, but they also don't care. So now I'm just out 1500$. Tried leaving a review on HPA's website but they won't actually post it so now I'm here. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HPA MOTORSPORTS

Companies comparison can be only after sales and not the time you bought the items. HPA is the best to deal with high quality products and amazing after sales services keep it up guys

I rarely write reviews like this because generally, companies in the automotive space do the right thing for their customers so they can compete for return business. I ordered an HPA HPFP for my MK7 GTI through a reseller (Urotuning). Received the pump within about 10 business days (international shipping from BC to east coast of the US is lengthy). Installed the pump in about 20 minutes with basic tools. Took the car out for a drive and the car started throwing codes related to rail pressures and fuel. Took out the pump, put the factory pump back in and everything was back to normal. Determined that it was a brand new pump that was bad straight away. I called HPA and was told by their service department that they have been having a lot of failures of 3rd party-supplied parts and that they brought testing in-house for this part. If this was the case, i have no idea how i received a bad brand new part if it was tested at the facility prior to shipping it out. This in itself happens and didn't bother me that much, when i went to ship it back to them for fix/replacement, i found out shipping was $40 that wouldn't be covered by HPA. Again, i suggested that customer service refund my part of the shipping cost because of their QC issues and it was their responsibility to ensure parts do not get sold to customers that are bad. Response was "i'll ask the company owner if he'll refund you". That was last week and I have low expectations for a follow-up. This simple transaction and part has cost me $40 more than it should have, over a month of time from when i ordered it, and put a pause to my tuning efforts w/ the tuner. Buyer beware on HPA stuff if you ever have to ship anything back for warranty work. If i had to ship anything significantly larger or heavier back to them, not sure i would.

These guys were amazing to deal with during my project. Everything was very professional and done properly. Highly recommended this shop for any of your VW/Audi projects!

I am local to HPA, so when I started looking into buying a downpipe for my Mk7 GSW I went to them. They made a custom reducer just for me, so the downpipe would bolt right up! FYI if you have a Mk7 1.8T the reducer was 3" to 2.38", whereas the 2.0 is 3" to 2.5".

My local shop installed the downpipe (vND Motorsport) and were very impressed with its quality. Thanks to HPA I was able to jump directly to stage 2 (Eurodyne), and I am extremely happy with the results!

These guys do outstanding work, I had the best experience at this shop, I'm from California and wish I had these guys down there! If you're considering them just do it! HPA rocks.

Alan and the team at HPA did a fantastic job taking my GTI to the next level! I appreciate how they kept me informed during the whole process and took their time to make sure everything was done to perfection. Darryl was very helpful and knowledgeable while seeking out options for my new downpipe. I never felt rushed and he clearly has a passion for the products they produce.

If your like me and very particular who works on your car rest assured HPA is the place to go. This was my first time seeing their shop and having work done. Darryl was excellent to deal with, I had scheduled the service work with him. Upon stepping threw the doors I came to gather how nice their facility is. They have a huge showroom/ waiting room showcasing a cool sema build they made back in 2005 I believe. Also several motors and parts to look at around the room including a TV. I also was lucky to be given a tour by Jonathan which really made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them because it showed me how they go about it they take much care into your vehicles. HPA is a big company with lots of employees I was happy to see so many people. They have a huge shop so many cool things going on in that place. I would highly recommend them for your audi/vw performance and maintenance needs. I hope this helps someone looking for an outstanding shop.
