Jenny was the most awful dishonest insurance agent I have ever dealt with as she signed me up for financing and monthly payments without asking me and could not correct my auto insurance with ICBC. This also affected my credit score and cost me extra $100+ in extra fee and lost cashback. All she can keep saying was nothing she can do, no apologies the entire time.

Update: The manager was super helper and nice, Vicki was able to help me change so I can pay lump sum. So now I no longer stuck 11 more months of 6% interest which I did not sign up for, Jenny's mistake cost me ~$20 instead of $100+. So I'll adjust from 1 star to 4 for the manager's effort.

Hazzel helped us with our buy out at Open Road Toyota yesterday. She is a five star insurance advisor. Hazzel went all the extra miles to explain to us what options are available in terms of 3rd party coverage, deductible, used car depreciation coverage etc. She showed us a very clear comparison between all the pricing with different coverage, how much we can save or how much extra coverage we will be getting, what is the best for us. She was the first insurance advisor I came across who would double check all of my contact info on ICBC systems to make sure they are up-to-date. She knows what she is selling so well, plus in doing all those things, she is super efficient. Next time you are at Open Road Toyota, try to ask for Hazzel to help you with your insurance, you will see her world class service.

I want to share our experience, what happened I past three months, and how disappointed and exhausted I am.
We traded in our car on Sep. 3,2022. We waited a month, and still did not receive our insurance refund, so we contacted our sales at the dealer. Turns out, the HUB agent forgot to cancel our license for one month!
Then, our sales from dealer gave us contact information of Bob. I have been follow up with him for more than 4 months for my refund. He said HUB will be responsible for refund me the insurance covering when we trade in our car to the insurance actual been canceled, which should be one month and 10 days.
It’s been not easy to get hold to Bob, I had to call general line every time, it takes half day to few days for him to contact me back. My emails were never replied.
Additionally, finally, he said he will able to issue a cheque for me. On Nov 15, he said he will issue it in the afternoon, and mail to me. I trusted him. I waited til Nov 30, still not received the cheque. I called again, he said he will ask accounting issue on weekend. I said I can pick up on Saturday, Dec 2nd. On Saturday noon, he called me said their office cannot issue the cheque, only head office can do so. WHERE HAs THIS HALF MONTH BEEN? ! He did not try to make me a cheque in November, just finding excuses every time.

Finally, the cheque arrived, it is not the amount I expected. Because our insurance was canceled one month and 10 days late, the cheque covers less than ONE month.
It’s been almost 4 months dealing with this issue, from 2022 to 2023, still an unpleasant result.

Returning customer here, car renewal insurance process is a breeze at the Richmond automall branch. Keep up the agile approach and the friendly service.

I fully recommend Fabio Baita from Hub Insurance to contract car insurance! All the information that he gave to me was clear and precise. His attention and legerity to answer the questions were tremendous, even out of his work hour.

We went to this hub as soon as we bought our first car and the broker there named Ishpreet gave us a really high car insurance policy. We have no clue because it’s our first time buying a car and she just gave us the most expensive plan without explaining things. She didn’t explain to us that some coverage can be reduced and that some are optional. We already have our roadside assistance from openroad but we end up paying for another roadside insurance from ICBC because she didn’t explain to us that it’s optional. Our insurance cost was $427 monthly and I told her that I was expecting to pay only $200 and she just smiled at us. When I told this to my friends, they were also surprised so we went to another autoplan broker in cambie and they were also surprised with our insurance cost. This new broker (AMC) helped us to lower our monthly insurance cost from $427 to $211.

As a 'car guy', I've dealt with dozens of insurance professionals over the years. However, few are as professional and as attentive as Fabio was, particularly with one of my odd requests.

You see, I'm one of 'those people' who cares about the numbers on their license plate, in addition to their particular design (I really wanted the bear plate this time around). I gave Fabio a list of license plate numbers I'd like to use, and would you believe he was able to source one of them in less than a week? Absolutely impressive!

On top of that, he was able to identify potential gaps in my insurance coverage and indicate the best insurance solutions to make sure that I am properly covered.

I've never heard of this company or had any contact with them yet somehow they had my personal information, contact information and insurance info. Attempted to claim they were my agent and began the process with ICBC. Cleary sleazy and unprofessional practice. Beware.
