I have been dealing with Ken Huber at this dealership for over seventeen years and have bought seven vehicles in that timeframe. I will say that this is one of the finest run auto dealerships that you will ever find. The staff are honest, trustworthy and take genuine care in servicing all of your needs AND will give you a fair price on purchasing your choice of vehicle.

I took my vehicle in to get my breaks checked, because they were not responding well. The dealership said I needed my front rotors and pads replaced. After paying them over $2200 to replace my breaks, water pump, surge tank and coolant, my breaks started to make awful sounds. I took the vehicle back asking them to fix the breaks. They told me there was nothing wrong with my breaks and did absolutely nothing to fix it. My breaks continue to make these awful sounds, which they did not make before I took my car in.

They also have a message on their phone that tells you that they detail your car with their services, I have never once received a detail after taking my car into their shop. They always say that they are too busy. I'm thinking maybe they should take that out of their message if they can't offer that service.

I have also been contacted several times by text and email asking me to rate my last experience with them and every single time I tell them that my experience was poor they tell me that they will have someone contact me to help resolve my issues. I have not once received a call or message from anyone about this.

I also took my car in to get my signal light fixed on two different occasions, within months of taking it in both times my signal light stopped working again.

Overall, I have not had a great experience with them. The staff are friendly but it seems like the establishment is disorganized. I have never felt like I was properly taken care of there.

I had a Friday afternoon breakdown on my truck, so I immediately got in touch with the service department, and once Melinda found out that I was from out of town she went the extra mile for me, asking for a technician to come in on Saturday to work on my truck, and someone agreed to do so.
It was an amazing experience for me to be treated as well as I was, for the parts to be available (!) for my older truck, and for her to commit to them not leaving unless the truck was back in my hands.
The price was as quoted, the truck was done by 4 PM, and I was free to leave town almost on schedule. I am beyond impressed and will recommend the service team, led by Melinda, to anyone.

Well i cannot say it was a good trip to the service dept to get winter tires changeover I picked up the Equinox and drove it out down the road the thing shook and was extremely loud i thought maybe they might have left a wheel loose? So back I went and they tell me that was a build of corrosion on one of wheels and it was not sitting right surely the tech should have seen that? Sorry about this comment I have had great service from Cam and his crew.

I never thought I would describe a car break-in as a great experience but the wonderful folks at Huber Bannister made it just that. While travelling through Kelowna we had our car window broken and some things stolen. After calling several glass shops we started fearing we would have to drive all the way home to the East Kootenays with no window. But then we talked to Steve and the team who miraculously arranged for an overnight delivery of a window from Vancouver and had it installed before lunch the next day! Complete with an all-electric courtesy shuttle (thank you Shawn!) to where we were staying in Summerland, a full cleaning and full electric charge-up. And the price? It came in UNDER the very reasonable estimate! You guys are awesome. Thank you soooo much! I can't say enough.

I have been a customer for over 18 years. I have purchased 2 new vehicles from them and they have been servicing all my GM vehicles. As far as purchasing is concerned, I would give 3 stars (first vehicle had a defect in an aftermarket part they had installed (transmission cooler) but dealing with service dept was fine. 2nd vehicle was a custom order with a new salesperson who did not know what they were doing and we did not get all we wanted. Have bought GM vehicles elsewhere and gotten better deals. Service has been excellent - most times - except for failing to remember resetting tire pressure relays when rotating (twice) and leaving the odd tool in the engine compartment (twice) but over 18 years, not considered bad. Annoying they will not top up DEF as part of regular service. Had only one poor service rep (who didn't last long).

On our trip through Canada we had a problem with our van. It was making strange noises. We took it to Huber Bannister Chevrolet for diagnosis. We were told that it is no longer safe to drive and that it would cost around CAD 800 to repair it. We consulted our friend from Calgary who is a car mechanist. He told us that there was an easy fix for the problem and told us how. We returend to the garage and talked about this solution with two mechanists. They confirmed that this was possible. I asked how much this would cost (not repairing but removing the broke piece because you don't need it for driving). They told us that it would cost around CAD 80. So we arranged an appointment for the next day. The surprise came when the office employee told us the price: CAD 210. I informed her about the offered price and luckily the guy from the day before was present and confirmed it. The garage wanted to charge us 1 hour of work for removing 8 screws and extingushing the engine light. We finally paid CAD 90. The employees were very friendly and helpful but this rip-off is not justifiable. The garage does good work but watch your money!

WOW.great dealership experience! Glen McNicol, Roberto and Myles were all great to deal with. We purchase a beautiful 2017 truck and we were treated with nothing but respect. We have done business with other dealerships and only walk out feeling riped off and angry, NOT at Huber Bannister. Glen was so kind, he listened to our needs, and did everything he could to make the deal work. Roberto stepped up to meet our budget without all the haggling back and forth and actually seem to care unlike many Managers. Left truck there for the full day from 8: 30 AM as requested, thinking it would give them flexibility in servicing. Would have been 5 stars if truck was ready at 4 pm when promised, instead of waiting 1 hour.

I got in my truck the other day and noticed that my heater was not working when I turned it on. I quickly stopped by Huber Bannister in Penticton to report my problem. They checked the hoses and let me know that there was a circulation problem and that it could be a coolant issue. I made an appointment with them to have it checked at a later date.
When I returned home I decided to reed up on the coolant system of my truck in the manual.
I found out that the coolant level was a little bit low and added some to a full level.
I tried my heater again and it was working perfectly.
I did take my truck back to Huber Banister for a regular lube and service and they were happy to hear that my heater was working again.

I purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV working with Denzer and Julian. I appreciated their straightforward communication and honest information which allowed me to make an informed business decision. I really appreciated the transparent market evaluation of my trade in and the effort to get the best possible financing rate. The Bolt is our first EV and has exceeded our expectations after two months of ownership and 2500 kms. GM paying for the installation of a 240 V plug in our garage for level 2 charging was the icing on the cake!

Just moved here and had an issue with my 2018 Cruz. When I took it in to Huber Bannister Penticton I was immediately seen by the service manager and shown where the waiting area was. After a short time I was told the starter motor needed replacement and the part would be here the next day from Vancouver. The shuttle (cool - electric car with really nice driver) was offered so that the car could stay 'till the defective part was replaced. I got picked up next morning and found that everything was under warranty, so 'no charges'. I happily got in my newly washed (great job, even in the door wells) car and have been feeling much safer on the road.

I heartily recommend having your car serviced at Huber Bannister. You will be pleased how they treat you.

First off, my Husband LeRoy and myself value honesty and integrity. We did not find that to be the case with the vehicle we purchased. We were told the vehicle had been serviced and if this had been the case, we would not have just about run out of DEF fluid, the air filter would not have been full of leaves and the windshield would not have been pitted so badly that coming home in the sunlight, we could hardly see out of it. We paid $500.00 to have it undercoated and found there were lots of areas that were missed. The plugs for the box liner were missing and the fifth wheel knob will not come out. I guess it is buyer beware and not trust people to tell you the truth. Pretty sad!

This is a pitiful example of customer service. We were told by the salesman that the price of a vehicle had some begotiation room. Then when we asked the sales manager Roberto about this, he was rude and condescending. He told us he could throw some nice mats into the deal. I asked if he could negotiate maybe a few hundred less and he agreed to this. Well, picking up the vehicle, he would not give us the mats. He said it was one or the other. He never ince said that. He then argued over text with me that he was right and I was mistaken. This dealership put a few hundred dollars over customer service and untegrity. Horrible experience!

Huber have a great staff, service is professional and the work is completed in a reasonable time frame.

Denzer was my salesperson. He was very respectful and relaxed, realizing I needed time to make my purchase decision. It was refreshing not to feel pressured. It took me a couple of days to "mull" the purchase over. In the end, we negotiated and I believe it was a win win for both. I love my new -used vehicle. It's exactly what I have been looking for.

I recently leased a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country as it was the ideal vehicle I wanted as my current lease of a Mercedes Benz GLS 550 SUV was nearly up. So I was looking for a 2021 model year SUV and also needed the 2nd Row Bench seating option for my 2 large Bernese Mountain Dogs and a soon to be large Leonberger so having a Bench style 2nd row was paramount!

I looked at the GM website and found a potential suitable one at Huber Bannister so I emailed them and Hugh Keith Sales & Leasing contacted me and was very knowledgeable and immediately satisfied any issues/questions and I must also say that Lyle Schiele the Finance Manager was a pleasure to deal with as well.

I've been in the automotive industry for over 40 years and have NEVER bought a car over the phone and email but these gentlemen made the lease acquisition smooth and transparent and I can't say enough about their attention to detail and they'll be the first I contact when the lease on this vehicle is up! I can't say enough about how I was treated!

Very friendly, low-pressure sales. We had all the time we needed to make the choice that was right for us, and are happy with how it all turned out. The only niggle is not the dealer's fault, but the finance calculator on the manufacturer's website indicated payments that were lower than those actually available from their computer system. It was no fun to realize it would cost us more than we had been led to believe!

Superb service and so friendly and helpful. I first went to Huber after my salesman Pierre went down there over 2 years ago. I found them to be very welcoming and warm and friendly. I felt so comfortable, even when just getting an oil change that I seriously considered buying a new vehicle from them. I ended up buying a brand new truck just about 2 full years ago now, and have never regretted it at all. I am in fact considering replacing this vehicle with a new one either this year or next year. They are wonderful people to deal with and you will never feel as if you have made a mistake!

I just purchased a new-to-me Chevy pickup from Huber Bannister in Penticton! It was a great experience from the first day I stepped onto the lot! Denzer was my sales guy and he made sure I had all the history and info I needed on the truck, knew the truck inside and out, and helped me get a great price and high trade value for my old truck! I highly recommend this dealership and all the staff I had contact with.
