Small-town resort. Inexpensive, great lessons, good snow, and short lift lines. What could be better? Well a chair from the lodge to the top would be great rather than a T-bar, of course there's tradeoffs especially at a place with frequent wind. We will definitely be coming back.
The powder on the hill was amazing. Rental staff were very nice and accomidating and the rentals were in good condition. Runs were well maintained. Definitely an awesome day snowboarding on the hill.
Avoid the lineups of larger hills and ski your heart out in the winter from November to March. There is 3 lift lines and 30+ runs as well as a terrain park. Enjoy the shoulder seasons too if you're into some back country skiing. There is a bar, restaurant and a ski/board rental shop as well as cabin rentals to ski in ski out. Great hiking and biking area in the summer months too.bring your bug dope and bear spray tho.
