Hula Poke Yaletown

We just love Hula Poke and we regularly order takeout from there. Pretty much every time I don’t feel like cooking lunch:) Rice is always excellent, kale and tuna are plentiful and fresh, and the condiments and sauces are delectable. Our favourites are the Peruvian and the Tiki bowls. Yum!

Very cute, tiny shop. However definitely not for extended periods of eating. Noted this is reasonable considering the location and type of food offered is more suitable for quick lunch walk thrus. Service is friendly and overall very clean.

Food was delicious! Did not overload me on rice. However the grain options like kale noodles or coconut rice was a very appreciated offering. Lots of greens, and decent amount of the salmon. However feels like we could have a tiny bit more variety in the toppings. Seems like only kale, micros, and rice in my bowl.

The lava coffee is delicious. Much better than the coffee I am currently sipping while typing this up

Absolutely delighted by my visit to Hula poke bowl shop! The flavors of the food were superb, and the assortment of sauces added a delightful twist. The portion sizes exceeded expectations, leaving me happily full. It's perplexing to see negative reviews that don't align with my fantastic experience. I strongly urge you to try it out and form your own judgment – you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was!

After being hungry for an hour, I tasted stale fish and the overall taste of the meal was not ok. It was just a one-time shop.

Ingredients in each poke bowl are pre-determined - you don’t get to choose. We had the Yuzu and the Peruvian and both were tasteless. A ridiculous amount of kale in each bowl, soggy rice, a few pieces of cucumber, a couple of edamame and not much else other than ahi tuna. Save your money and look elsewhere if you want a decent poke bowl, there are a lot of good options in downtown Vancouver.

The food was ok… hardly any chicken in my $16 bowl.mostly kale and rice.
Service was meh, and then they expected me to tip. No thanks.
Won’t be back.

Take note of the negative reviews. My wife and I each ordered bowls and couldn’t eat either of them. Kale was disgustingly off and the fish didn’t taste food safe.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hula and I must say, my experience was absolutely delightful! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality.

The menu offered a wide variety of options, but I tried the recommended Bahamian Bowl which was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back to try the other bowls and the great staff!

This place is so cute! Has a great set-up for summer with an indoor/outdoor patio in Yaletown. Had a Peruvian poke bowl and it was delicious. Great portion for price.
So easy to order from (menu literally has a 1-3 step plan) so if you’ve never had poke and are nervous about trying something new, this is a great place to start! The staff are so friendly and so nice. 10/10

This is honestly the worst poke Ive Had in my entire life. I literally regret spending 17$$ in a cup of kale, 3 1x1 mm bites of bad marinated salmon and soy sauce.

Absolutely tasteless. Don’t go there if you don’t wanna be disappointed. So expensive and not filling at all; all of their poke bowls are made out of mostly kale w 10 gr of protein and 25 gr of finely chopped veggies

17 minutes to make an açai bowl. There were only two two person parties ahead of me. For something that takes a blitz, syrup, banana and coconut chips not sure why it took so long. It was tasty though as I had wanted something light for lunch.

Pineapple colada was non palatable. Would not recommend - took two sips and had to throw it out. Really sour (which is expected, it’s a pineapple colada) and overly salty (prob from the tajin?)

Got the Peruvian option with marinated salmon and sushi rice. It was SO disappointing. It was mostly rice + kale + some sauce. There were about 5 pieces of salmon 1cm x 1cm and some even smaller. If you want a rice bowl, this place could be an option for you. But if you want poke, I would probably not recommend it.

Would give more stars if I could. So fresh and flavourful, just the right amount of dressing. The yuzu chicken w coconut rice is my personal fav. Always a highlight when I come to Vancouver

The best poke bowl I have ever tried in my entire life, Victoria is super sweet and the whole staff is so friendly and kind, definitely a must go in Vancouver if you want to eat healthy and delicious.

One of the tastiest poke bowls in town. The staff is friendly, and was willing to accommodate all of my topping requests. The toppings were generous, place was clean and the ambience was just cozy and welcoming.

Great place to have a chill and nice lunch, you gotta try the Peruvian bowl, IT IS INCREBIBLE

Great food and staff! Their bowls are super fresh, my food was made in no time and it was delicious. Multiple options and it’s vegan friendly as well

This is one of my go to places for lunch when I'm in Yaletown. I have tried all their bowls and they are fantastic, with good spice to a good kick. My absolute favourite is the Bahamian with Tuna,
it has a good mix of sweet, vegies and a little spice. I’ve been to other Poke Bowl places around the area, but nothing compares to Hula. I love their atmosphere and need to mention how service oriented are their employees. My daughter is vegetarian and she was able to find something delicious for her.

I love this place! Always my to go for fresh and delicious bowls! I love Tiki and Bahamian ones! Healthy and supper yummy with tofu & coconut rice. Also they have a very nice staff!
