Amazing vet, he really cares for animals and knows his stuff, including nutrition and options for differing financial circumstances. Their intake staff are truly lovely!

Amazing Place, Staff is super friendly, Vet is super informative and Caring.
I have been taking my dog there since they opened and I would never trust anyone else with my dog as I trust them.

I honestly love this place.
We have two 20+ year old kitties with complex needs and I always feel like they care. In terms of the veterinary care itself, the veterinarian always *always* shows test results and explains everything that’s going on and makes sure we understand. They’re available when things are urgent, and never try to unnecessarily “upsell”. We’re big fans!

Excellent care, friendly staff and seems fairly priced.

Dr Kahlon and his staff looked after our Golden Doodle Tiyah extremely well recently. He explained all our options, made recommendations without pressure and our dogs surgical outcomes have been very good to date.

The staff love the animals in their care and Shae, Julie, Simryn and all the other staff I met were helpful, welcoming and Tiyah came to be excited to greet them.

Could not have had a better experience at Hume Park Animal Hospital. Our cat Juniper became very sick very suddenly, and we took her into Dr. Kahlon's clinic straight away. I felt that he explained all the possibilities to me very well and the wonderful office assistants and vet tech treated Juniper like she was a member of their own family, with calls and emails checking in on her to check on her condition. I'm low-key jealous, I wish the healthcare system for humans was even half as good. Juniper is home now, and she is feeling much better, a direct result from the care she received at this clinic! I can't recommend them enough.

Awful staff communication and failed process when provided a 30 day policy through Trupanion. I was not able to get coverage for my cat despite their exam day offer.
I called Trupanion multiple times since June 17th and Hume Park Animal Hospital's office, and was told that it's a "portal error" (don't get me started on Trupanion's 1 star review.)
Furthermore, when my cat had diarrhea for 2 days straight and poor intake, Hume Park told me to buy their Mature Consult food and urged me to give it to him. I bought 4 cans - attempted to slowly introduce over 3 days - and he wouldn't take 1 bite. Yet, I told them this, that I tossed out 4 cans, and they still provided a dietary consult which told me to give him the same diet! Absolutely tone deaf. The vet is thorough, but the front desk has been less than helpful. I have been beyond stressed for weeks because of this.

Took my newly adopted German Shepherd there for his vaccinations. The vet was patient in explaining all the shots in detail. I want to give the nurses a special shout-out for their help in getting the dog off the car, into the clinic and back into the car as he was very scared being a newly adopted. Great bunch of people and deserve a 5 star no doubt.

Clinic was super friendly and helpful. Staff were professional and my puppy was happy to be there. Dr. Kahlon was really efficient and very informative and I learned a lot just from a single conversation. We'll be bringing our puppy here again and our cat soon.

Love this place. Checked them out because our we were dissatisfied with our previous vet (both communication and missed diagnoses), and when we got a puppy, we thought we would check them out.
Staff are wonderful, really going the extra mile to remember you. Prices are reasonable and the doctor had good information. We'll be moving our other dog and cat here too.
We signed up for the $10 cat nail trim on wednesdays, but had to cancel because our pup plays with our cat and we need her to be able to tell him to stop, but once everyone's settled down, we will definitely be Wednesday regulars.

Our puggle is 8 years old and super anxious. He has lots of recurrent paw issues that no other vet has ever been able to really sort out. The vet spent so much time explaining what could be going on and a number of different approaches. Was not quick to prescribe anything, and didn’t try to run a million tests. The staff were all super good with our anxious boy, I was impressed! After trying a few other vets in new west, this is by far my favourite.

I had to go to them because l needed to get an international certificate to travel and had an appointment with the government agency the next day. They were nice enough to get me in right away and check my dog and provide my certificate within hours. The original appointment I had canceled without letting mw know. I was very grateful to have found them. Thank you

Took care of our long-haired cat with dignity and respect, explained everything clearly. Excellent veterinarian.

Got a prescription that was the wrong dose, refused refund less than an hour later. Very rude when told they were wrong.

Came to this place because the communication and diagnostics were terrible at our previous vet.

My 1 year old has some sort of skin allergy which is hard to find out what it's caused by. The doctor took his time and explained everything in a way that anyone with little to no knowledge would understand. A few treatment options were given to me and I chose to go with the one that was the most recommended by the doctor.
Fast forward 2 weeks later, my dog is doing amazing.
Also unlike other vets, they're not trying to convince to buy their products.

Super friendly staff, very professional and very clean. Even though my dog can be very vocal and hyper they were very kind and patient about it.

We have been bringing our pets to Dr Kahlon for 10 plus years and welcome the opening of his own practice in New West. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. He is very consultative and gives options and potential outcomes to help you make the best decision for your pet. His staff are wonderful and the customer experience has been great.

Our baby Loaf had his first visit today. The staff were so sweet and friendly. The Dr. Was very knowledgeable and had great information about the care of our cat. We were offered a lot of advice as this is our first kitten.

The clinic is very clean and the prices are very reasonable. Very happy to have this animal hospital in Sapperton!

When my dog broke his nail, they took him in. Even the emergency clinic send us home, even though he was bleeding a lot and in a lot of pain. They helped us even though they were supposed to be closed. 5 stars arent enough.

Love the vet, clean space. Stopped by Wednesday to get some info about my cat, the receptionist was very nice and helpful.

I’ve never felt more segregated this entire pandemic as Hume park animal hospital made me feel last week, I was there to vaccinate my dog as I’ve been using the clinic for months at this point and they already knew I was unvaccinated and in my last appointment they kicked me out during my appointment to tell me cause of my v status I could no longer be in the building and could only do a road side appointment yet my dog was allowed to stay? I decided to leave that day and I will not be supporting this business anymore and I pray they don’t treat others this way in the future.

The doctor’s doctor - the care and the information you need and want from a good vet for your little one - just like your own good family doctor. Follow up: I was called a week later to ensure everything was okay and if I had questions. Affordable, quality, thorough care.

Brought our puppy in to have his paw looked at because he was whining, and our normal vet had no availability and they advised we get it treated asap. The staff was friendly and our puppy came back to us with a bandaged paw. We inquired about a tooth that was also a little inflamed and the vet here recommend we have it pulled.

Fast forward 1 week later when its time to have the bandaged change at our normal vet, he noticed there was a lot of blood on the bandage and the fur around the wound was not cut. He said its standard practice to stop the bleeding first because he is a small dog (7lbs) and to shave the fur so it can be kept clean and unobstructed. He also took a look at our dogs tooth and told us it was likely irritated because of something he'd been chewing, and pulling that tooth out would be drastic at this point in time. He advised that we do not return to this vet again.

The vet and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Took my cat in for a dental check-up & cleaning and everything went smoothly. I like that they were upfront about the pricing and sent me a quotation before the appointment. My cat is usually very terrified of strangers and they were gentle with him - you can tell they really love the animals there. It's great to finally have a vet in the neighbourhood here!

Raj is great with the animals and makes sure that you understand all instructions and all your options. It’s fast an easy to get an appointment. The place is also very clean and the staff are all lovely and always excited to see our furry friends.
