Better than most tempura, and everything was good. Nothing wow. The music was loud and the atmosphere was a bit cold and unwelcoming

They add ~30% gratuity without notifying the customers before we select the tip percent when making the payment. Ridiculous

If you have visited in the past with a good experience, we recommend that you do not visit. First of all, the taste of soy sauce has changed. As I remember, there was kikkoman soy sauce on each table about six months ago, but now they just serve soy sauce. The problem is that this soy sauce is not for sushi, so it is very salty and does not go well with sushi. When I checked with the server, they said it was changed to brewed soy sauce. And the smile is salty, and the quality of the food is considerably lower than before, so I recommend not going there.

I recommend that you do not visit this restaurant even if you have had a good experience in the past. First of all, the taste of soy sauce has changed. Food was really good and we got candy with the bill: 3. Place was also dead when we walked in which was weird. UNDERRATED

Sashimi combo not fresh. Mushy, looked dull. Didn’t eat the tuna, the rest seemed ok… got upset stomach 6 hours later. Female server also not very nice. Not sure how this place is rated 4.3 / 5? Worst sushi I’ve had in a long time, go elsewhere.

Good prices, good food, and solid service

We ordered in miso soup, gomaae, pumpkin croquette, chicken teriyaki, takoyaki and appetizer tempura. Overall food was OK but not great or amazing. We enjoyed takoyaki and croquette the most. While it was not bad, would not order gomaae again. Chicken teriyaki was too salty. Will try rolls in the future to see if our opinion changes.

Had an amazing meal and would recommend the double Dragon role. Food was all very fresh and had good flavour and everything was made with good ingredients. Had some issues with Uber eats, no fault of the restaurant, that the restaurant cleared up admirably and even called me to make sure i got my order. This might be the best customer service I have ever gotten from a restaurant! Will actually make a point of going and visiting the restaurant in person at some point soon instead of takeout! Highly recommend.

Paid $75 for a party tray and barely had enough for 3 people. This is the smallest and most expensive party tray I've ever ordered. They also forgot the mentaiko udon we ordered so with the small tray and the missing food, we didn't even have enough to feed everyone for our father's day dinner.

I went there for the first time and the servers are very polite and attentive. The food is tasty and there is enough seating and distance from other tables. I had a great time here. Totally recommend this place.

Hands down the best sushi place i ever had! Absolutely delicious and fresh! Generous portions. I order on Uber eats and it all comes fresh, hot, and packed well. Thank you so much for amazing food and service

Ordered a UberEat today which I had takeouts from here couple times before. Today I waited 2 hours before the delivery is here. My wife ordered a sushi rice for my kid so she called to make sure they give sushi rice instead of regular rice. Got hang up on the phone.

California combo suppose to come with 2 salmon 1 tuna and 1 ebi nigiri. It comes with 4 pieces salmon and no other sushi.

Zaru soba does not include any sauce. How can I eat this without sauce? Have to eat it with soy sauce + water. Noodle was overcook. Taste really bad and cannot finish even half.

Ebi sunomono has a weird chemical taste. Which I ordered it before and it was not tasted like this before.

Spicy salmon roll was so messy and unprofessionally rolled.

The first time I ordered their takeout I was amazed but the quality has been going downward. Today I really wanted to have some cold noodle so I decided to give it a try again. Will not give it try no more.

Not your typical Japanese restaurant! Their special rolls are innovative and delicious. They have a big menu as well so you'll definitely find something you like. Regular rolls are $4-6, special rolls $9-16. Prices are standard. Their private parking lot is closed off at the moment (May 2021). Only paid street parking available (2 spots right outside the store). Covid 19 protocol is good. Ordering and wait area is spacious.

I highly recommend the cream cheese aburi roll, and salmon oshi aburi. Both were excellent.

The Tako wasabi was bit too salty and didnt come with enough seaweed pieces for the amount of tako mix they gave (only 5 slices of seaweed).

The salmon aburi bomb was good but not as good as expected. I wouldn't order it again for almost $5 a piece.

Overall I would come again for sure!

The sushi at this restaurant is by far the best in the city. The crab and avocado rolls are so fresh tasting, you would think that they were flown in from Tokyo. They also provide plenty of vegetarian options if you are a vegan or have food allergies.

So good! This is the best Sushi place in New West. Absolutely delicious and fresh. We had dynamite rolls, vegetable rolls, house rolls and they were perfect. The edamame arrived piping hot, perfect. I will never go anywhere else for my Sushi in New West now.

Absolutely wonderful staff and food. Never once have I had a bad experience while dining in or ordering out. 100/10 my absolute favourite sushi restaurant

Good price, amazing food. Really enjoyed the sashmi and the cream cheese aburi roll. The black sesame ice cream was delicious! It came with a wafer and cocoa powder.

Popular for sushi and has other meals that you can eat inside the restaurant or order delivery. The restaurant is spacious and clean and receives customers with kindness and a beautiful smile.

We tried a few places in new West and this one wins hands down. Inside is clean, nicely decorated. Good covid precautions. Very tasty food. We had the snow white rolls, the volcano rolls, assorted sashimi, vegetable tempura, pumpkin croquettes and of course a pitcher of Sapporo. All was outstanding. Very good service. We will be back.

Great place. I think the prices are good, quality is nice, and the staff are very polite and don't check on you too much, but are there when you need them.
