I Kyu Noodles

The portions were very small, the service was like my ex-girlfriend, and I ate what looked like bug wings.

It tastes very homely, and the noodles are good, but I ordered a sweet wine egg drop and I was shocked. It was not sweet and there was no sweet wine.

We like dive-y places but this was just bad. Service was terrible. Staff seemed friendly but were not able to take our order properly. Did not recieve our BBQ ramen instead got pork rolls and we did not recieve our udon got chicken Ramen instead. Our spring rolls came out as we were leaving. We canceled them. They also closed mid-day for an unknown reason. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but the food wasn't good.

The chef has never learned cooking skills, the price is high, the portion is small, the taste is not ordinary, it is a tourist attraction trap restaurant.

The taste is very homely, the noodles are good, but I ordered a sweet wine egg flower, which is neither sweet nor sweet wine.

The service was good and very friendly.
The food was well prepared.
The restaurant is really recommended.

N’allez surtout pas ici pour manger
La serveuse nous a « accueillie » sans bonjour ni même sourire et nous a proposer de nous asseoir à une table bancale et avec des assises sales…. Odeur de javel?
Finalement on demande des conseils sur quoi commander et la serveuse ne prend même pas le temps de répondre.

Nourriture bof … mais surtout au moment de partir 12% de pourboire minimum …. À ce prix là je comprends pourquoi elle prend même pas la peine d’être aimable.

The food is ok, but I think the service need to be improved as well as the employee training. I was forced to give minimum tips of 12%. As they enter the total amount for me with the tips for me to tap. When I question the cashier why did she enter the tip among altogether, the lady replied me that “ boss set the Resturant policy for All customers to leave at least minimum 12%”. Although, I didn't mind leave the 12 % tips, but their policy and the attitude are totally unacceptable. Tips are for customers’s own choice to tip more or tip less. Today is my first time having this kind of the “tip rule”. I didn’t experience this rule any where else, ever.

Travel in Victoria, That’s the best Mandarin style noodle house I have! Much better than same style restaurants in Vancouver. Love it! Will be back!

It was quiet, the surroundings are nice, not too long a wait for meal. Food was very good, no doubt I'll be going back sometime soon:)

Just don't do it, do not eat here!

Well to start this place is really filthy on the inside.cobwebs, a few old dumplings on the floor under the tables. We should have left, but being hungry we decided to give it a go. The water glass tasted like vinegar dish water. The pork dumpling noodle bowl was okay, bland noodles and salty broth but edible. The xao long bao tasted odd and the shumai tasted like mystery meat. We politely packed up and left. Noticed a gross tasting coating on the inside of my mouth after I left.

Got so grossed out that I puked up the few things I ate.

The staff was very nice though.

Worst food, worst remen And chow mine I ever had, Am still here in the restaurant, I asked them for salt and black pepper and chilli, they have not served me salt and pepper yet. Good doesn’t taste good, won’t recommend at all. Made my Christmas morning worst. So disappointed, poor service. Don’t come here.

Miso Noodle is really good, beef brisket is also great. Wonton is just okay but portion is big. Friendly staffs. Recommend this place.

Delicious Chinese fare with lots of vegetarian options and some unique items. The cabbage dish is great, ma po tofu was also a highlight

AMAZING. I ordered the veggie ramen (in photo) and my mom got teriyaki chicken noodle soup (can’t remember my dads order). All soups were very tasty

Had the pleasure of having lunch and catching up at I Kyu Noodles today with my good friend Paul, on his recommendation. This restaurant kept up to his promise of an excellent noodle house here in Victoria. #38 and #47 on the menu were spectacular, larger servings than you would expect for lunch fare. Definitely check this place out, in the heart of Chinatown.

Great hand made noodles and jazz music. Interesting mix of Chinese and Japanese dishes, flavours really on point.

First time to order here, the BBQ Duck and BBQ Pork is very delicious and tasty. I am satisfied with what I order and happy to go back. And I look forward to try Pan-Fried Pork Buns next time!

Very tasty! I've never tried this place until tonight, but I'll definitely be back! I wish they were open a bit later into the evening, but oh well.

I love this little gem in town, I can get my favorite childhood dish, the pork belly and rice and for full experience I added a soy sauce cooked egg. Very simple and so yummy like the place itself, simple decoration, friendly staff, daily specials. What is outstanding about this place is that they make everything from scratch, dumplings, noodles, the broth is unique too, that means to me that these chefs are really in love with what they offer. And that love shines through in the food, delicate, delicious. I’m grateful they are around, I’m definitely gonna come back and try more.

The Miso Ramen and the Spicy Shanghai Wontons make for the best meal I’ve ever eaten in Victoria. PLEASE EAT HERE! If this place ever closes I will fall into a deep depression and I don’t know if I’ll ever come out. EAT HERE!

Ordered wor wonton soups. When I tried it I found the prawns were definitely off and had a moldy taste. When I called to let them know their only response was "thanks for telling us". Very disappointed. Won't be going back.

Great wor wonton soup- which I tried and then couldn't ever order anything else on the menu, except the spring rolls, which were also very yummy. There are two wonton dumpling options, I prefer the pork and veggie. Now we have to order take away, and I can recommend their efficiency and presentation, with the broth and fixings in separate containers so that all can be combined at home. Please try this local gem!

Miso ramen is delicious, slightly sweet and perfectly salty. Not a fishy kind of tasting miso, but nice umami flavour. My favourite in town!

The food here is amazing! I get the wor wonton soup at least once a week for lunch. Service is always fast and friendly.

This place is so good. This time I had the Dan Dan noodles. Perfect level of spicy and the noodles the right amount of chewy.

Friend got some thing. Was awesome.

The staff here are very friendly and the food is incredibly delicious and filling for a very good price! They also have a lovely aquarium and usually have some jazz music playing.

I'm very conflicted about this restaurant. To start with the positive, the food is absolutely delicious. By far the best noodle soup that I've had in town. My personal favourite is the Chicken Udon soup. The staff is also always friendly and overall the restaurant has a nice vibe to it.

Now for the negative. Unfortunately, the second time we were at the restaurant we saw a mouse crawling across the floor right in front of us. The staff attempted to catch it in a cardboard box behind the cash register and seemed embarrassed about the whole thing.

I understand the age of these buildings probably has something to do with the amount of pests hanging about, but for any restaurant pest control should be top priority. We unfortunately won't be eating here again.

This place is disgusting! I ordered dinner through skip the dishes and it showed up with cockroaches stuck to the side of my bbq pork bun! AND two other Unidentified bugs! The restaurant was closed by the time I got my delivery so I was unable to contact them. I will be co rafting the food safe and health and safety of vancouver. Disgusting!

The food at this restaurant is more authentic than other Asian fusion restaurants. My husband ordered the kim chi vegetarian noodle. It was quite tasty. I ordered hot noodle with sesame paste. Delicious. The cucumber cold dish is quite delicious too.

Hope they can develop more vegetarian friendly dishes in the future. Very friendly service for a quick and emotionally fulfilling lunch.

Beef Wonton Noodle soup is a must-try! The noodle and wontons are handmade and the best I've ever tried.

The Wor Wonton was delicious. Hands down the best I've ever had. Nice and clean place to eat and the waitress was a gem too! If you are ever in the area be sure to stop by and enjoy! Greetings from the USA!

The food was excellent - the garlic cucumber appetizer was incredible and the chow mein was the perfect comfort food. The servers were quite rushed because the place was packed, but I still give it a 5 star for quality and certainty of going back:)

Came her today and was pretty much served by a stone-faced, less than enthusiastic waitress (to put it mildly). That alone was deterrent enough to NEVER come here again

The restaurant just opened at 11 AM and they didn't have a third of the items on their menu. Pretty disappointing.

So today I went here with a few of my coworkers and I got the Wor Wonton. It looked good at first but when I took a closer look at the chicken there were dead ants all around the chicken and also a few floating in the soup. Can't believe I have to make this review but I would like other people to know about my experience.

Also this was my very first time going here and I will not come back.

One of my favourite places for noodles in Victoria. Fresh veggies and good flavours. It gets pretty busy but worth it!
