I passed my N test yesterday I forget the instructor that I had but she was very kind and patient.
I highly recommend taking your test here.

I honestly believe that these people try there very best to fail you. They lie and say you did things you didn't do. The male examiners are a bunch of sissies.

5 stars for examiner Margo! She was kind, patient, and her directions were clear. We had great conversation, which made the test much less stressful. An amazing feeling to finally hear “congratulations, you passed! ” Thanks for making my final class 7 test experience great, Margo!

Terrible. The instructor was sick and coughing for the entirety of the test. You should have a policy in place for sick employees, especially since your customers are trapped in a small steel box with them for half an hour.

I Got My 7 Class Today. I had a pleasant experience with the ICBC staff, they were kind and helpful! Specially Thanks To My Instructor She’s Is Very Kind And Nice Person.

Today I took my class 7 road test with instructor Margot. I did a standby at 8: 30am and got in at 2: 50pm. She had failed me due to vehicle handling, right off the bat I could tell that she wasn’t in a great mood being the end of a busy Saturday. I didn’t find her the easiest person to converse with which made me more nervous. It’s unprofessional to have examiners take out their bad emotions from a stressful day out on people who are already anxious going into their road test. Very unsatisfied

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I didn’t have to. I don’t want to specifically mention one person here, but the girl who served me was super rude. I just had one simple question but she wouldn’t listen and throughout the whole conversation, she was extremely rude. The lady working beside her was very rude too.

I booked an appointment to do a knowledge test, got the confirmation email, get there to do my test, and then I get turned around because I'm not "in their system". Now my question is, what in the world is the point of the confirmation email? I booked time off work early and had to travel quite a ways to get there. Like should you be calling in even after you get a confirmation email
Other icbc locations are much more considerate.
I'm honestly just disappointed.

I went for my third road test today, and after an extremely stressful experience with my last examiner, I got Margot today and she is so amazing. I was EXTEREMELY nervous as I have pretty bad anxiety and right away I felt so comfortable. She's very laid back, explains everything and is very clear. Great sense of humor. Passed with flying colors!

The experience i had from staff, was disgusted and a total dissatisfaction as i took my own car to give road test and denied to take a road test because the lady who was supposed to take my test, came 20 mins late than my appointment nd while inspecting car she said oh there is no car model sign and i cant take your test, it is safety issue.
I said give me 5 mins i will call my uncle and he is 5 mins away & we are already late. Her wording was "the idea of getting out of here is very slim".
Such a disgusting experience.
Manager Jason was like ok yeah I understand.
I havent seen a management like this.
Wht have u understand? I took day off, left my sick daughter to give the road test.
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! People need the understand that TIME is important to everyone.

I visited this place a few times and believe me or not they are completely racist. They would cut you off and would not let you ask anything. Different kind of information is provided on every visit. Super rude.

What a great place to get your licensing needs met!

First, anyone that loves lines or waiting, you need to check this place out. The waits are steller.

Second, if you love seeing people work themselves up over things, come do some people watching, so many impatient and self entitled people here.

Third, the staff come in everyday and manage to still want to help, after endless imbeciles marching through.

I’ve been having issues with getting my BC Services card because my name is soooo long. I’ve been on and off the phone with ICBC and health insurance for a week trying to figure this out and couldn’t figure out where to finally go to get it solved because I was being told different things. I spoke to ICBC head office twice and both times, the ladies that spoke to me were lovely!
I walked in this morning and they were at capacity for walk-in hours. I told the receptionist my issue and she let me come in later in the day to get this solved, thankfully!
When I got there, they were still having problems with the card, so 4 ladies were assisting me and let me just say, every single one of them was SO kind and made sure I didn’t leave without getting it fixed… and they did get it done for me!
I’m so incredibly grateful. I wish I got their names because of how kind they were. Especially the lady at reception for getting me to come in later in the first place!

Showed up not even a couple minutes late and was told to make an appointment. Drove 45 minutes out of my way to be told this. Waste of time!

All they want is to give you the headache by asking unnecessary questions. Inadequate information in appointment notice. Then the talk in a authoritative tone, insulting the public.

Was great, went in, and had a great conversation with the employees, studied so I passed my test, Motorcycle Licence Acheived! Now to start working on getting the restrictions taken off. Hope I pass my Road Test First try aswell, when i go here in the Future.

I went for my license renewal. Got there early to a long line up but the staff handled it surprisingly well. From arriving 5 minutes before opening, to walking out with my license renewed, was 40 minutes. Can't complain! Thanks.

Easy processing, only its just you have to be in queue even after appointment. But staff is friendly and process was easy.

Made appointment went in a bit early only had to wait a couple minutes in and out in less than 15 mins driver and BC card renew

They called me in late for the appointment but staff was very friendly and helped me transfer license from AB

Took a class 5 roadtest with Instructor John. He is an excellent instructor and was able to help me relieve my nervousness through the entire process. It was definetly a pleasure to take the test with him. Kudos for being an awesome instructor!

The man who served me was kind, friendly and careful and everything completed just under an hour when there were a lot of people. Thank you.

If you're going to go for a road test during the summer, make sure your car has AC, cause if not, the driver instructor will complain and complain as if its your fault they have to do their job. They don't even let you know their names or employee numbers for you to file a complaint against them.

Who reviews these instructors? Who holds them accountable for when things are actually the instructors fault?

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING YOUR ROAD TEST WITH ANOTHER ICBC LOCATION, DUE TO THE REASON OF THIS LOCATION'S INSTRUCTORS NOT BEING PROFESSIONAL AND TAKING THEIR JOB PERSONAL.

Passed my motorcycle Full license Test here. Just wanted to say that the Examiner and driver lady both were super nice. Sorry I forgot the names but both were a bit elderly, very friendly and encouraging. I have always been to ICBC Burnaby and they have the most rudest staff specially the examiners (Chinese guy in particular, he should be fired). So glad I went to Abbotsford, staff is good, also it is not as crowded as Burnaby's ICBC.

Everytime we've visited its been pretty good, not too long of a wait, or line up. Make sure you book an appointment to avoid extra wait times. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I took my road test here and I got fail for my instructors choices he would tell me to turn when I would have no time to get to the other lane and move before coming to that intersection and he would penalize me for slowing down to change lanes so I could make the turn before I miss it and a lot of the time by doing this my car would then be put into a bad position within the lines that anyone with a brain could figure out that it was nit my fault, very unhappy with the way things had turned out I was already nervous for the test and now ill be double guessing my driving I am very displeased with this visit even if you read the paper there is no valid reason on the fail.: {

Terrible location and all they do is money grab. Driver was failed due to another driver failed to maintain safe gap while attempting back parking. The driver who failed to give safe gap should have been penalized rather than the driver who had all appropriate signals on to notify the other drivers. Is there any way to file complain against the examiner?

This ICBC location is the best i have been to and iv'e been to many different locations. The staff were awesome and very prompt. Big shoutout to Tammy for giving me the confidence to pass my air brake knowlege test and class 3/1. Awesome staff, will always try to come back to this location when possible!

There is lady name Lauren, she is so nice. I have a road test with her. I was so nervous in the beginning but She is so polite and I feel so comfortable while talking with her.

The female examiner there failed me. The reason she failed me is because I slowed down too much turning left at an intersection, they flat out told me to fly through intersections and stopping to them is in no way acceptable haha. The girl in my car did seem very abnormal and was breathing like an elephant I could hear her literally very heavy breathing next to me like she was having an episode. She also lied and said I didn’t shoulder check when I did every shoulder check. I spoke the supervisor who’s this blonde skinny girl that looks like she’s high on drugs, she also insisted I should be flying through intersection with absolutely no effort of stopping. I actually can’t believe what im hearing. Total frauds and liers, I’m saddened that people like this exist.

You have to book online for an appointment whether it's for renewal or road test.
Masks are optional now. Still required to hand sanitize at station as you enter.
The process was organized and fairly quick.
Parking is abit limited in the plaza.

Unprofessional customer service. The agent lady said my Canadian passport is not a valid ID. She could not accept it to book a knowledge test. It appears that your agents need more training or start issuing provincial ID's on the spot rather then making a waiting period of 60 days.

Came in with my father for renewal of his ID's Friday afternoon (Jan 21). The lady at the reception told me to "You need to wait outside, because there's already too many people in here. If we need you we will find you". I found this remark to be very ignorant because she clearly knew that I was present with my father to assist him as he does not speak english. I did not take a day off to come to the office to wait outside. "if we need you we will find you". Are you kidding me? I'm already at the office so that you do not need to go looking for me when my father doesn't understand you. There was no sign outside of the office either that stated that there is a capacity limit. And it was not as if I was in there standing around for no reason. She was very rude and ignorant.

However, there is one male employee at the office and he is the most wonderful and sweetest gentlemen. He made our visit quite pleasant.

Sort your instructors out, just sat my road test was asked to change lanes when there's a car directly in my blind spot coming on my inside right. Also to make multiples parking maneuvers on snowy side streets on uneven terrain which is unsafe in itself.
Instructor got my car colour wrong. Ticked the that I passed when she told me a failed. And her comments weren't correct I shoulder checked on every park I made. Get some people who are paying attention while they're working please

Took my daughter to do her knowledge test today and wanted to give a 5 star review for the best service we've ever had at a licensing office. They were efficient dealing with everyone and most of all a shout out to Tammi S and Mel (Melanie?). They were super friendly and did a great job of explaining things, helping a nervous teenager through her first trip to ICBC. Thank you!

The parking is absolutely horrible. Good luck finding parking anywhere near the office and after you finally find a parking spot even with a appointment you are still stuck outside waiting in line.

People are waiting outside for hours in freezing temperatures. Even handicap peoples. You guys are insane. I renewed my license one month ago and waiting for my license to come until last date they went there without an appointment because how can i make an appointment if I don't know either i will receive or not but wait outside for 3 hours in freezing temperature and went back. Talked to reception they are so rude and unhelpful.

The icbc employee I talked today was very very rude with me, she was sitting at the first counter when we enter, it was the worst experience visiting icbc

The staff at this location are truly exceptional. They are kind, patient and extremely helpful. What makes this even more startling is that they work at a *motor vehicle* office! I can not imagine the patience required to work there!

Today, I passed my road test and it went so good. I got Margo as my instructor and she was fantastic. She made me feel confident and spoke politely all through the way.

Very long wait times.they dont mix up the numbers of pple with appointments and ones without.whole point of appoitment is so people dont have to wait but they should also sent around same number of people in that are in line up

My son had a road test this morning. We were greeted by Carrie, who was very polite and encouraging to talk to. My son's instructor Teresa was amazing as well. My son stated she was really nice and he didn't feel nervous at all with her. Thank you to Carrie and Teresa, it is clearly visible how much you ladies like your job and take pride in doing it.

Super long wait if you don't have an appointment. Lucky it was a nice day and the weather is not cold.

Not happy with them… i m driving since 2011 and i am holding class 5 licence. I went for class 4 restricted licence and i didn’t even made zero mistake in my pre trip… still he failed me in rd test for nothing very minor mistakes like that can be a feedback after rd test and i deserve to pass but still he failed me geoff his name?

This place is the hardest place to find it is in the back of another building in the plaza and the lineup is horrendous even with an appointment

If you get an appointment online, they get your stuff done fast and efficient. Friendly and understanding staff. With no appointment booked the lineup is super long.

Very quick friendly staff! In and out before our scheduled appointment time! But better signage needed for which side to line up on for appointments.

I thought masks are mandatory - customer service reps were not following that protocol very diligently - I think masks should be worn over your nose and mouth as opposed to under ones' chin or hanging off one ear

Booked an appointment and was in and out quick.arrived 10mins before per instructions and was served at the appointment time and out in 10 minutes. A+ experience.

Jessie is very nice examiner, he is patient, and kind.my student do not speak any English and he is 70+ age. My student told me that Jessie is an understanding person, and very patient to him. He explained every details to the student. He looks strict, but he is extremely nice and patient.

I had an appointment to renew my drivers license. It was very organized and I did not have to wait long! The girl that helped me was super friendly and great at her job!

Covid rules about entry: There are two lines outside. One for appointments and one for those without. If you don't book an appointment it can take over an hour to be seen if you are seen at all. So book an appointment.
When you are in the appointment line move through the doors to the right and move onto the blue dots as they become available.
If you have a road test scheduled, don't wait in the line just go through the doors then to the left moving onto the blue dots as they become available.
Do not enter unless the first blue dot inside is open.
