ICBC Driver Licensing

I found a great person in this branch (Don Jorge) George. He did all the process in a great manner, kind, friendly, and the best. He can speak Spanish, too. So I highly recommend this place for anyone. And if you don't speak English, not a problem. He manages Spanish very well.

Wait one hour and a half for a something I was told I'm the booth I could do and was given a ticket for. Then after 90 min o was told that is only online and there was nothing they could do. Something I could have been told since the beginning instead of making me wait

I just want to claim the bad attitude of my road test examiner today 11 Dec 2023. The way he sat on the car very impolite. He made me so much stress with unclear direction. It seems unprofessional examiner. He did not introduce about his name with me. He could be Indian guy.

I just did my N test today with Doug. He let me ask questions at the start and was helpful along the way

I had an amazing experience here. I took my Class 5 road test with Examiner Anthony (I hope I spelled his name right). I was extremely nervous, but he not only calmed my nerves but also displayed exceptional patience throughout the test. Thanks to his calm and polite demeanor, I quickly regained my confidence. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve taken both my N and Class 5 examination at this location. The staff were fairly polite and the driving test was pretty straight forward. The examiner will not trick you in any way and as long as you’re prepared, the test should be pretty easy.

Booked the appointment still waited an hour for renewal, if you have other options, don’t waste your time here

I hardly write reviews online but I really wanted to share a super positive experience I just had with the examiner Nathalia! She is extremely nice! She came to greet me at the car with a big smile. She was so patient with me and always gave clear directions during the test. She started a casual conversation that helped calm me down and become less anxious. I wish there are more examiners like her!

ample with free parking.
Crew is a flat face, unwelcoming, and just doing their job.

Big thanks to DOUG! He was my examiner and was so clear about his expectations which eased my anxiety a lot. He could tell I was very nervous and allowed me to ask him questions. If you’re lucky to get Doug, thank your lucky stars!

Had a 10am appointment, arrived less than 5 minutes late because of all the traffic in the area, so they gave my time to someone else. ICBC is the biggest scam in BC.

Got my class 5 here. I found the service friendly, and enjoyed my experience. Bathroom was clean.

Attentionfor anyone ICBC test:
- Turn off the phone or use silent mode! Otherwise you can be kicked out!
- Don't come without an appointment. Otherwise you will be sent home!
- You can select your native language! It is perfect!

- I learned using the "ICBC Test" with a yellow logo featuring a driver in a red shirt app. Look for the app in Android/iOS store. This app offers practice tests in multiple languages, including English, Punjabi, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Farsi.

What's the point of booking an appointment when they don't bother using that time. All they do is put you in with all the walk ins.

If you happen to identify as Muslim, I'd suggest looking into other options. My encounter with the lady at the front desk was marred by a consistent display of rudeness and aggression from the moment she noticed me. She went as far as rejecting the Ontario-certified copy of the birth certificate, which is the sole legally recognized proof of birth in Ontario, issued exclusively by the Ontario government. Furthermore, she initially questioned the validity of my Canadian passport as proof of Canadian citizenship, only ceasing her objections after her colleague intervened.

Update: I recently visited the ICBC Driver Licensing center located in Metropolis at Metrotown, and I must say, my experience was significantly different. The staff there were incredibly helpful and displayed a high level of professionalism. They treated me with respect and efficiently processed my case within minutes. I highly recommend this office to everyone.

Stay away from this degenerate SIMON 99.9% of the time he’s going to fail you. He’s nothing but a hypocrite, he’s going to take you places where there’s a high risk of you failing, if you’re going 46 on a 50 he’s gonna ask you to speed up and as soon as you speed up boom you fail. Simon your a disgrace to mankind!

Clean and respectful staff. The problem is that I arrived 8: 25am and had to wait 1 hour for something that takes 1 minute to do. Not only that I had see a whole transfer of new people and my position arriving early was a punishment it seems like. Also just to renew ID I have to wait up to 60 days! What is my ID from a remote location? Or made out of the finest goods known to man? Hell just have the machine in the back room and charged an extra 20$ for express. Monopolies suck and so do government business. At least in Alberta we get things handed to us within 1 maybe 2 weeks at the bare minimum. BC is so slow and it’s annoying.

We drove 1.5 hours to have my wife’s drivers license replace. A white guy ahead of us received a number without having to make an appointment. It was our turn and the lady at the reception desk firmly told us that we must have an appointment. We explained that we had to drive a long way to this ICBC center and asked if there’s any possibility if someone didn’t come at the appointment time. But she was clearly agitated and wouldn’t listen. I won’t complain if the rule applied to EVERYONE. The gentleman on counter 14 was so friendly and explained what we should do next time. But this is a rather bad and racist experience. We hope efforts would be made for positive change.

I'm tellin' all my folks, don't even bother hittin' up that spot. There's this dude named Hardeep from India I think, and he ain't carin' 'bout how you drive, just your skin tone. My homie took his test, did it all right, but Hardeep failed him for no good reason. You best steer clear of Hardeep and find a legit spot without that racial mess.

I failed my class 5 road test here 3 time in a row because of going 25 in a 30km zone, going 55 in a 50km zone, it was either I'm too fast or too slow, that's it just my speed was the reason, i failed my class 5 here 3 times, they just want your money.

Avoid this location like the plague. If you absolutely have to test here, make sure you don’t get Vincent.
