I.D.A. - Forbes Pharmacy - Fort Street

I went here for the first time yesterday, just moved into the area. The place looks a little rough around the edges just because the building is old and it's got that inner-city brusqueness with some of the staff - still polite and competent, just hurried, nothing unusual for a downtown location. I took a look around and they have an outstanding selection - things I've been looking for all over the city or have had to special order in before and these guys were fully stocked.
I strongly recommend it for vaccinations. They got me in and out quickly and the middle-aged gentleman with glasses gave me a shot I honestly didn't feel at all. I've had a few before where you feel it go in but it doesn't hurt, and that's nice, but this is the first one I've had that I didn't feel anything! I think he'd be a great choice for vaccinating kids or anyone who is phobic about needles. I'll be taking my kiddo there this fall.
If the 1hr free parking spots are full try circling the block a few times, vehicles seem to be in and out quickly.

The pharmacists and staff here are very friendly and incredibly helpful. You definitely get personal service which is really appreciated. (When my father passed away, they sent a card to my mother along with her prescription delivery.) They have a great variety of food products too, including healthy, natural options. This is definitely my go-to pharmacy.

Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, customer-service oriented and always brighten up my day. Prices are fair and you can always find some delicious goodies here. The store is always clean and well-stocked. Thanks to the entire staff for all of your hard-work! You are all super stars!
