Best sandwiches in Pentiction! High quality meats and cheeses to choose from (at least 20 of each) on a large bun, cheaper than a Subway footlong!

They only accept cash (really? !) Sandwich ok but very expensive and if you don't know how the ordering system works, (I still don't know), the staff seem rather put out.

Best sandwiches I've ever had. We alestd have this when we're in town. The buns are fresh and the meats along with the cheese are delicious. Such a great varoety of meats and cheeses. A must try if you're in town

Finally made it to Il Vecchio Delicatessen to try one of their sandwiches.

Small lineup but workers are quick. You can pick any cheese and meat from their list. Sandwiches are $8.09 to $9.85. $2.99 to make it a lettuce wrap is quite the ripoff.

- 2 Meat & 1 cheese ($8.09) - prosciutto san danielle, genoa salami and gouda green pesto. A lot of ingredients, but not much flavour going on.

Cash only. Cheap spot to grab a quick bite.

Been too long since I had my fix of Il Vecchios sandwich. Delicious as always and very great staff. Cash only, posted on door as always. Excellent quality of items on sandwich.

Ummm, no! Prices are extreme for what u get. We were trying to decide what to order & guy doing our order was impatient & wanted us to hurry & decide. We decided on 2 meats & and cheese, & he was using register then without gloves finishing another order. (touching food) I kindly asked that he wash his hands before handling our food, to which I was given smirks from ALL staff.

NONE were wearing gloves while handling anyone's orders. Gross!

Staff really grumpy. When we opened sandwiches, we noticed they were filled with lettuce to bulk them up & only 4 THIN slices of meat per sandwich. The cost of a sandwich is $8.50 WAY TO MUCH for a bun filled with lettuce & a few pieces of meat & a cheese.

They only accept cash as well. We won't be back!

Great selections from the old Country. Staff are very friendly and fast, considering the volume of eager patrons.
My particular problem is I rarely carry currency anymore. Sadly debit and credit cards are not accepted. Must be because of the high popularity.

This place Is a hidden gem. The meat, the cheese, the freshness mmmm drools! BEST SANDWICH I’ve ever had… will recommend to everyone and I’ll be back:)

I loved it. I went for the first time great price. I had to go get money becuase it cash only. It's fresh and delicious.

Signage about "cash payments only" was not made visible until coming upon the cash register. Meat selection was not what I expected. Prices are decent.
Poorly equipped to deal with take out orders at the same time as in-and-out shoppers at food rush times.
Cannot speak on what the food tastes like. Turned off completely before being able to make a purchase.
