Image Optometry / Specsavers Cottonwood Mall – Optometrist

Yesterday visited Specsavers Cooyonwood Mall. I was impressed with the thorough examination, courtesy of the staff, choices of frames, cost of services.

It is a very friendly place and really good prices too! Alot of choices of different frames!

Great experience! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! I found they came quick, just over a week. I needed a small adjustment after a week of wearing them so I dropped in and they quickly did that for me, making sure I was happy. 10/10 would recommend!

Beyond pleased by my first experience with Specsavers Cottonwood! I lost my glasses on Cultus lake on a Thursday, immediately drove to Specsavers as I have heard good things. I have a small face so I always have to buy kids glasses. I was happy with the selection and ended up getting the same pair of glasses as sunglasses for their 2/1 deal. I was told 2-2 1/2 weeks for them to be ready and got the text a week and 2 days later. Very impressed and was even given a $100 off coupon for next purchase and $50 for a friend. So awesome and so grateful for how helpful the staff were. I will definitely be back! <3

Wow, what an awesome experience. Noob here. Every question was answered and explained to me to better understand what's happening. Hale was excellent, explained my insurance coverage, and fees. Dr. H Shergill was amazing, I have never had such a positive experience getting glasses and eyes checked!

It was great! The optometrist was friendly and he made me feel really comfortable. He explained everything to me in ways that I understood. He really was amazing!
The staff was just as great. Very friendly and helpful! Look forward to going back to get sunglasses/a few more pairs of glasses!
My glasses came in a few days early than they said as well which is always a bonus!

Honestly, I have not had a better experience buying glasses. Love the bright colours in store and excellent service from both the optometrist and the retail staff. Well done!

Dr Ramanjot kingra was very friendly and explained everything so we understood each thing about our eyes.

Overall very good experience and would highly recommend everyone to visit them when you need glasses.

This was my first time dealing with specsavers, and I can't say enough about their customer service and quality of products. I have been wearing bifocals for years and was never really happy with them but this is the first pair that I can honestly say I am very pleased with. Thx specsavers for everything

Amazing staff, the lady who helped me out was very clear on prices and stuck to what I wanted and did not try to upsell me. She was amazing!

This is the better place between these guys and the Complete Eye Care Optometry here in Abbotsford. Not sure if they were cheaper, but definitely better in quality! The photos below are with my old pair of Glasses vs one (of two) of my new pairs from Specsavers. Old pair had been sat on, (accidentally) and were kind of stiff, and the lenses both kept falling out every time I tried to wipe them clean. My new ones, are 100 times better, in quality, and they are way easier to clean, just as long as I'm careful.

Special thanks to Kyla Campbell for helping with this! This really made my day, and honestly, with these new glasses, I feel more mature, and I actually feel 18, and not 15 or 16!

I didn't use your optometrist for my prescription, but will next eye exam. When I picked up my new eyeglasses, my husband came with me and he was also impressed by your premises. He read the brochure and plans on using Specsavers when it's time for his eye exam and replacing his eyeglasses. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience purchasing my new eyeglasses from Specsavers.

I got my glasses from specsavers they have way better frames there in a perfect price range and you can get a two for one deal instead of buying one I plan to go back and get the perception eye sunglasses way better then the other place in Cottonwood wood mall

Highly recommend! The front office staff was friendly and helpful; the doctor was personable, informative, and thorough. The equipment used was very high tech as well. 5/5 for sure!

I am sure glad I went there. I checked 5 different optometrist store and by far there were cheaper in price but the quality was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised because my glasses came in early. 5 stars and both my thumbs up for them.

I found the perfect pair of glasses.with their help.
I whole heartedly recommend them and have confidence in their skill to fit you to the right spec's.

I felt that my prescription was not well explained to me. I thought I only required "antifatigue glasses" and did not realize that I required proper distance glasses. Thankfully the sales staff was able to explain that to me, however, I would have liked to have that information from the optometrist.

Attentive and friendly staff. They seem to remember customers from previous visits which is nice. Clean business and good selection. All said I am happy to recommend this business

I've been a client of Image Optometry since I was 10 years old and now I'm 30. Thats 20 years of them taking care of my eye health and now I have brought my daughters there too. Excellent staff who are very polite and taught my daughter about how to care for/ wear her glasses. The doctor is wonderful and highly knowledgeable. Will be coming here for the foreseeable future.

Good customer service, helpful staff and plenty of glasses to choose from. Thorough eye exam and personal text when glasses ready.

The receptionist would not tell my daughter what contacts she would need without a fitting yet the fitting schedule the had didn’t suit our time frame so we asked for it to take to another eye doctor but they won’t give it to us even though it was written done by the doctor so we wasted money and will have to go to another eye doctor‍️
Basically just a money grab to get you to buy the products they sell.
A first and last visit for us.
Hoping they will do the right thing and send us this information as I did phone and ask again for it.

We've been going to Image Optometry for the past 9 years and absolutely love the professional service. They are consistently kind and helpful and we would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I live in Harrison and drove there for my apt and arrived for them to say o sorry ya the dr hasn’t been here all day we have to reschedule!
I cancelled and went to a different eye dr!

Wonderful frames to choose from and staff is friendly - except for one dark haired 30-something female who with her rude demeanour makes any request seem like it's inconveniencing her. But for her, I would have given this store a better rating.

I've been dealing with Image Optometry for more than 20 years now. They are always very professional and courteous. Pricing is competitive. Having an optometrist in-store is a real bonus.

I had the bad luck to have lost my glasses only months after buying them at Image Optometry, it was my first experience with them and it had been a good process. So I went back, hat in hand as I needed to replace my lost glasses.they were very helpful and gave me a good deal on my new glasses.
I love my new glasses and would highly recommend them if you need new glasses.

This place is GARBAGE! STAY AWAY! Read below to find out why.

Got my eyes tested here, payed the 30$ for the try our contacts test. They had never heard of my current brand so they fitted me with their brand. I didn't like them so I went back in today to get my contact prescription so I could reorder the brand I have been using for past 2 years.

This is when I was handed my glasses prescription and told that any optometrist would be able to give me my contact prescription from my glasses prescription.

** backstory this same place charged me 25$ 2 years ago for my contact lens prescription.so the fact they couldn't provide this for me is just GARBAGE **

The front end worker wasn't helpful and just continued to repeat her answer. (I can only hope that these are new rules under her boss that forced her to be rude and unhelpful.)

So this place has now ripped me off because i was using benefits.
The most recent is they charged me for popping my old lenses in to a frame that fit the lens.
Problem is. They don't work for my face. Their are gaps in the lenses. Where they sit on my face causes light to come through my transitions.
I am light sensitive.
Their competitors said they would of made a whole new pair of glasses for basically the same price.
They took advantage of me. Pressured me into these glasses making it seem as if no one would help me.
They also won't give me a refund although policy states on custom glasses. Their is nothing custom of their work they provided if you can even refer to it as work.
The first time they ripped us off was when our insurance paid for an eye exam. The deal was each person was to receive frames, lens, and 2 hockey tickets.
They got paid in full for both exams except gave us 2 tickets only.
Now its not a huge thing. They went against the promised promotion.
I feel if we paid out of pocket it would not be this way.
Shameful. If you have given them a positive review chances are they tried to charm you to defraud you as they did to me.
Well one person charmed me. The other has a personality of dirt. Just a complete snot.

The staff was very patient and helpful. I found exactly what I was looking for in both glasses and sunglasses. I wish I could remember the name of the girl that helped.she went to the other store

My disabled 82 year old mother spent $700 on glasses and she could not see out of them.

They would not do anything to adjust or fix the problem. The have made her afraid. She is using her old glasses and cannot see.

She on a limited pension. I find this is appalling they will not correct her glasses so she can see. They told her too bad and kept her money.

Unprofessional and rude. It worries the whole family that she can't, as she is prone to falls.

Was very pleased with the service here. Great staff. They really helped my kids find glasses that they liked. Plus the cost was very minimal! So coming here again for my own glasses! Thank you so much. They said the glasses would be ready in a week they were ready that day!

I have always been treated with respect and honesty. Great selection of glasses. Very professional.

I had a wonderful experience, everyone was kind, knowledgeable and I am very happy with new glasses and prescription.

Really disappointed with negative behavior of staff and manager. Had the WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFETIME. Manager categorically said "If you have bad experience with us, may be there is something wrong with you". After this comment, I rest my case. Can the owner give manager a crash course on "customer service 101"?

I was a walkingi in last Friday, it had been many years since I got glasses.
Helpful, polite and courteous.
I was told glasses would be ready after Spring Break.
Much to my surprise they arrive a week early.
Very happy with my purchases, and love that’s it’s local.

The optometrist was very friendly and my eye exam was very thorough. The front gal who helped me was also very nice. My only complaint is that their selection of frames available with my Groupon was quite poor. They used to have so many more to choose from every other time I purchased a Groupon.

The worst business experience I have ever had to endure. I was mortified and furious when I witnessed an example of pure unprofessionalism between my current vision provider and this business.
In addition I was frustrated and then angry when I couldn't speak to a human being after many attempts to ring through.
I am not going into gory details. But they do not understand the concept of service.

Hi, I recently received new lense service at Image Optometry. I took in my own new frames and received prompt, courteous, professional service from the friendly staff. My glasses were back in days and I am more than satisfied with them. I would definitely return to Image Optometry and recommend this store to others. I love my new glasses!

My glasses were broken beyond repair. Without my glasses I really can’t see. The following day I went into Image and got an appointment for a same day eye exam (my prescription was expired), found glasses and had them ready to wear within a 2-3 hour period. I’m a broke university kid who was really worried about if I could afford new glasses, but the price for the exam and frames/lenses were amazing (there was a promo going on). Everyone was friendly and I’m super glad I chose to go there.

Unprofessional. One example; mail of unpaid FNHA claims sitting on their counter with names of clients and the debt.

The doctor was pleasant, I feel a bit guilty for writing this negative review because she was so sweet.

Those who did eye exams (on Nov. 19 2018) lacked basic professionalism leaving me very uncomfortable and urging to leave after a mishap on their behalf.

Im not open confrontation but this had me in shock and unwilling to pay for their mistake.

Super quick service, glasses came in within a week and fit perfectly. Great explanation regarding progressives and bi-foculs to help me decide. (I went with the bi-foculs and I see so good!) /

Had very friendly service and my glasses were delivered within 2 days of exam. Best ive had in town do far.
