I had a fantastic experience at Specsavers today. Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Pravjit Atwal was amazing! She took the time to explain
everything and she made the experience fun and enjoyable!

I have tried now the service of Specsavers in Coquitlam Centre and I have to say I'm blown away. The service I have received from Grace also known as optician extraordinaire at this location was just amazing. After receiving both pairs of my glasses I was told to come back if something didn't feel right. It takes a bit time to adjust to a new pair of glasses especially if those are progressive.

Wearing my new glasses in my work space I was not really happy as somehow still some sharpness was missing, which I couldn'treally explain.just at work.

So I went back with a picture of my workspace to show Grace and she suggested to get occupational glasses and asked if I would be on board with her idea.

I was on board after she explained what would change with occupational glasses. Grace took care of measurements and all an optician has to do. She placed the order called me after 2 weeks that my new pair work glasses would be ready for me.

I went to pick up my glasses and right when I put them on and looked towards the computer I realized that these glasses are working wonderful and I really appreciate Grace's idea!

So my rating for Grace is a10 out of 10 and Specsavers Coquitlam can be very happy to have her on their team! The optometrist did a great job to figure out my specs and all other team members are very friendly and knowledgeable to, but my main contact was Grace. I can just recommend this store!

I had my eyes checked at this location paid for an eye exam. I was given contact lenses to try out. I called back to order some more contact lenses and I was told that there was no record of a contact lense fitting done. She told me I could rebook and repay again. When I called another location I was told they did have that info on file but I had to go through this location
I called back to provide the information.the same lady I spoke to answered the call and was once again very unhelpful. I asked to speak to manager she said to call back tomorrow and she has no idea what time the manager will be in. Very disappointed.

Overall great experience and I'm very pleased. Wish I did my eye exam here too rather than just have my specs made as I would've saved some money.

I did my eye exam at Specsavers in Coquitlam with Dr. Pravjit Atwal. I only wanted to change my glasses but she could detect what is called a narrow angle glaucoma before it happened. Because of this, I was referred to another doctor and I did the preventive treatment, which is laser iridotomy. So, I am thankful to her who detected this and had all the patience to explain. She is knowledgeful and kind. The clinic has good equipment to do the exams. I also would like to mention Grace, who did a great job with the glasses.

My wife recently purchased glasses from the 2 for 1 deal and was extremely happy with the service and product provided who recommend I give them a try first before returning to Costco for the “limited” selection and not so knowledgeable staff members.

Very happy with the service and the selection of glasses. I have bought 4 pairs in the last few months. Two pairs of regular glasses and 2 pairs of sunglasses. I would recommend them, and have to family and friends.

Specsavers in Poco are very helpful the Doctor is very knowledgeable as well as riley, and victoria well almost everybody i just didn’t know there name. Keep it up!

Dr. Atwal was my eye doctor and she was wonderful and professional.i was helped by Kasra and Grace the Optician and they we’re helpful and knowledgeable with their product.i got myself Marc Jacobs and I can’t wait to get them in a couple weeks.

We have been seeing Dr. Gandham since my kids were 2 and 6 months and now they are 14 and 11. She is very thorough and detailed, amazing with kids and explains everything well so you understand what is going on. She is very personable getting to know you well and not treating you like just another patient. Let’s put it this way we followed her to this clinic because she’s that awesome! The rest of her staff just as amazing as her! We had Grace one of the opticians and WOW! My kids are the hardest to please when it comes to glasses and she was their favorite. Grace got in there being super cool getting to know their taste and then finding frames they loved! She was super chatty and made us feel like we had been going there for years even though it was our first time at this clinic. Thanks Specsavers Coquitlam for making our regular eye exam a pleasurable experience.

Grace at Specsavers Coquitlam Centre is AMAZING! She truly does care that you are walking out of Specsavers happy with the product (s) you chose! She is super helpful and knowledgeable on all things contacts (in my case)

Won’t allow me to order contacts with them unless i do an new eye exam with them, she mentioned it was the managers policy, but I’ve been ordering with my prescription from Image Optometry before they took over for the last year and a half almost 2 years. I broke my glasses and had to figure out how to order them online after 15 years of ordering through Image Optometry and Spec Savers, very annoying. I miss image optometry.

Dr. Kingra did my eye exam and is was the best experience ever! Never going to a different optometrist ever again!

I got a pair of glasses from anther store and they just didn’t fit quite right. Came in one day and Grace fixed them up for me within minutes! Feels so much more comfortable on now.

Riley was also extremely helpful and answering my questions and put my concerns to rest. Both were super helpful!

Dr. Jasjit Gandham made the whole process very easy and interesting. She is very professional but also very approachable. The exam was very thorough, all my questions were answered and I have learned new things about my eyes' health. I highly recommend booking with Dr. Gandham

I would not recommend a chain store for my eyes. The doctor was lovely, but the front-end lacked greatly. Went in one day to pick up my glasses. Only 1 person working, so I was told to come back later. I left but thought, no, I made this trip specifically to pick up my glasses. Tried new glasses for a few days, but progressives seemed to not be working for me. Grace told me to come in the next day and she would help me. When I got there, she was socializing with people in the mall, playing with their toddler. I waited 10+ min. When she was done playing with the people's baby, she walked past me to the back where a patient, who had already been working with her, was also waiting while she was socializing. I got up and left, leaving with glasses that don't seem to work for me. And don't be fooled by the 2 for 1. I still shelled out $500+ for something I'll never use. Next time, I will go to an independent optometrist with proper staffing, and where customer care is a priority.

Riley was very quick and efficient when we returned to pick up his glasses.

After a very long fitting appointment, and having to wait several weeks for a proper test pair of contacts, the prescription of the contacts is still incorrect compared to the information the on site optometrist gave me.

The service itself was pleasant, but very disorganized and now I'm left not truly knowing what contacts to buy. Disappointing.

Dr Atwal was the best optometrist i have come across, very thorough and friendly, Riley, Victoria and Vivienne were also awesome. Received my glasses super fast too. 5 stars for sure.

This time with Dr Pravjit Atwal, it was totally different! She was very friendly, unrushed and took the time to explain EVERYTHING to me. Although she was very professional, I felt like I'd made a friend! That was very unexpected but so refreshing. I would strongly recommend her as a most excellent Doctor.

I have been going to Dr Gandham for many years. And now have seen her at her new location. Her level of care is amazing, incredibly thorough and overall a wonderful doctor.

Karsen went above and beyond to help me pick out my specs.
He was very helpful with my Mums eye test.
Dr Lee helped diagnose the red eyes due to dry eyes. The walk-in clinic had actually prescribed antibacterial eyedrops which was incorrect.so I am happy I came here and got correct diagnosis. De Lee treated my Mum like her own Mum.

And another thing I discovered while there was that senior citizens eye check up annually is covered hundred percent by MSP at Specsaver‘s but not at Westwood EyeDoctors who charge 75

The missing star is for spec repairs. I requested them to fix the tilt and angle of my old spec but they looked so scared and uncomfortable that I took it to Barb at Westwood Eye doctor and she was an expert with no fuss. The doctors there are pretty awesome. They actually call me and speak with me directly for my eye issues.

This place is excellent.so affordable and really helpful.i got a lens replacement for half the price of another place that was quoted in the mall.this is the spot!

I have been to a lot of optometrist and eye centers, and I need to say that this has been a great experience. The staff were very friendly, and the young man who attended me (who's name I cannot recall but I know that it starts with K) was super accommodating and explained everything with details. The manager (who's name is Cherry) was also very accommodating and helpful and helped me get the best price for my budget. Last but not least was the experience with the optometrist. He was very respectful, courteous, and provided excellent care and service. I would definitely recommend Specsavers in Coquitlam centre.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Called ahead of time to make an appointment and the gentleman that answered the phone was kind. Fast forward to my arrival, I encountered Sarina who had a pass poor attitude from the start. She stated that the computer was running slow although I indicated to her that we'd never been there. While helping provide my id, she asked my child if the appointment was for me or him. I was livid at this point, I'm not sure if she was aware that I could see the glare of the computer from the picture behind her. She lied, never input any information however once I reached for my ID she smarten up but it was already to late. Make your way to guildford and forget this place. They lost out on an 800 sale due to lack of customer service. Will not go back. EVER!

The warranty coverage was great and I couldn’t believe there such a customer care still exists. I got 2 brand new eyeglasses with progressive lenses for my one broken frame, which actually was my fault to break. Last year I got 2 frames with lenses which I broke one of them.

I went in for an eye exam. The optometrist did not introduce himself, was curt, and even asked me to get up and close the door for him!

The people here are great! From scheduling my appt, to fixing my old glasses, to helping me pick out new frames and the doctor that did my eye exam was helpful and answered my questions.
I also love that my appt and pick up date was all done by text message so made everything very easy. Great job everyone!

I’ve been going to image Coquitlam for a number of years for check ups and new glasses. Always very attentive and knowledgeable staff. This year I asked to have new lenses in my old but favourite frames. They did and they are perfect. Lov’n my new look. Cheers!

I have had, I think, 5 pair of glasses supplied here, as well as a couple of eye exams. Every instance of contact with this outlet has been smooth, easy, polite, respectful and exactly as advertised. I had to replace a lost pair, it took less than 20 minutes to order and the replacements were in store in 6 days. LGBTQ2S+ respectful and helpful staff.

My daughter went to Image Optometry in Coquitlam Centre to get her exam and new glasses. She recommended them to me and I am so thrilled I went. Dr Michael Yau did a very careful thorough exam knowing I had diabetes. The staff were all very polite and patient. All COVID restrictions were in place so it was very comfortable being in the store. The prices were very reasonable. They had a special on buy one pair get a second for $2.00. A sign is posted Internet prices. I had my new glasses and sunglasses in 11 days. Highly recommend Image Optometry in Coquitlam Centre.

I love this store. The staff is friendly and there is lots of choices to look from. I also love the eye doctors who check the routine eye exams. They are very detailed and take care of you. I highly suggest this store!

I go in for a routine eye exam with Dr Michael Ing at your Coquitlam Centre branch.

He preforms a typical eye exam. I ask him very specifically for a prescription to order contact lenses, he wrote on the prescription a new prescription for lenses.

I specifically ask him if I can go and order contacts he says yes. The girls out front also order me a trial set.

I ordered my contacts through contactlensescanada. As I was told this was the correct lens prescription and that I could order my lenses anywhere I so chose.

My lenses come in, they do not fit! They are blurry, they droop in my eye, they are sore.
But here's the catch, I CANT RETURN THEM because they are an XR toric lens! The company will not take them back! Furious! I call Image Optometry and reschedule to see the optometrist again.

October 1st 2020

I come in and explain my situation to your staff. Who honestly had zero sympathy for my situation and just hurried me in to see the dr. Who is a different dr all together.
Now I see Dr Michael Yau. Who confirms that the original prescription that Dr Ing gave me was in deed incorrect and that he did it incorrectly.

He writes me up a new prescription and speaks with me. He tells me to contact the company as there is nothing that image will do as they were not ordered through their network.

Last I checked, Image Optometry's Dr gave me the wrong prescription, after I asked and asked and asked if I could order it through a different place. Not once was I advised not to.

Dr Ing should be taking some responsibility for his incorrect prescription and advising me to go and order lenses.

On top of that, the so called trial pair of lenses were NEVER ORDERED.

So once again on Oct 1 2020. I was advised that they would order me two pairs of different brands to try out and see the best fit.

Time goes on.

It is now Nov 23 and I finally get to pick up my "trial" lenses. But at las. There is a lens missing from the order. That they will once again order me trial lenses.

It is now two and a half months later, I do not have contact lenses. I am out 187.96 cents to which I expect image optometry to take responsibility for asap... And I have been given the run around.

To top things off, no one has bothered to reply to my emails or phone calls about the issue.

I must say that I had the most WONDERFUL experience at Image Optometry. I worked with Hailey to find the best glasses suited to my face. She was extremely knowledgeable and I would 10/10 go STRAIGHT back to her for all of my glasses needs. Stepping into the store was like being welcomed back home with open arms, the love I felt was unmatched.

The staff here are so wonderful, efficient & helpful! The turnaround time to replace the lenses in my frames was so quick. I absolutely recommend the coquitlam centre image optometry for any eyesight needs!

I didn’t want to describe my experience with them, but they made me do so. They made me wait for finalizing a contact lens prescription for six months when I called them multiple times during this time, and nobody knew what’s happening. Now that I gave them a one-star review, they called me this morning and acted like they wanted to know why I gave them this review and solve the problem. Then they called me this afternoon and told me that ”we will refund your contact lenses purchase, and we cannot any longer provide you any service. ” (just because of a one-star review) Thanks for your terrible customer service. I cannot believe that I decided to order my contact lenses with you after what you put me through. They convinced me that this one-star review was what they truly deserved. Although the doctor who did the eye exam was very respectful, I would not recommend them.

Great service. I’ve been two times for an eye exam and purchased glasses. The entire team is professional and helpful!

I've been to this location 3 times for prescription glasses, twice for myself and once for my kids. I usually have a really good positive experience. However this last visit really left me quite disappointed and upset. I bought prescription sun glasses which came in and I tried picking up today. When I first picked them out they were a perfect match and fit me amazingly. I could have walked out with them then and there if they had my prescription lenses, I loved them so much. However those were not the glasses I picked up today. When I first opened the case I could visibly see my frames were bent out of shape and so stretched out that they fell off my face as soon as I tried them on. Almost as if someone with a significantly bigger head shape than me tried them on. I brought this to the attention of the lady working but she only started bending them worse and would not pay attention to the issue or my complaints and was only making the situation worse. She then tried bending the nose piece (they were plastic Michael Kors frames, so yes she was bending the nose bridge frame) at which point I heard a crack. By the time she was done "fixing them" the arms looked so mangled and they were so lopsided on my face. I was so unbelievably upset I left them there and did not leave the store with them at all. I was told to wait until Monday when someone else who knew how to fix them would be in. I asked her to leave a note on my file to which she did not and said "it's fine" when it wasn't. This was not the customer service I was expecting to receive, especially after having 3 other amazing experiences, and previously buying 3 full pairs of glasses. This left me so utterly disappointed and upset that I am not sure if I even want these glasses anymore and may want a refund.

Good locations but they need to improve on their calling center workers which are very rude, unprofessional and at most times do not even pick up calls

Went here for my eye exam and new glasses. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. They told me my glasses would be ready for pick-up in 10 to 14 days, but they were ready in 5 days.

The eye doctor was very thorough in his examinations for both myself and my son. I believe his name is Dr. Yau. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us!

I was visiting from Seattle and stopped in the store to browse. Bought a pair of Tom Fords and a pair of prescription sunglasses which were delivered yesterday. Such friendly service and great prices! Could not be happier with them both! Will definitely be making the trip for all my glasses needs from now on.

I found beautiful Gucci frame there. Unfortunately when I got my glasses first time I didn't like how lenses were done and I needed to bring the glasses back. Everything was redone perfectly well without any problems. I have wonderful glasses now. I like service there.

Wouldn't recommend. They scheduled me in and confirmed via email and phone. When I showed up it was closed and they mixed up the time. The store wasnt even open when they scheduled me in. They didn't offer any apology or accommodation for the mix up. Very disappointed and bad customer service.

Both my husband and I bought our glasses here. We love how patient the staff was with our four year old when we had to come in to choose our glasses and to pick them up. The price was very competitive and the service was wonderful. Would highly recommend others choose here to purchase their next pair of glasses.
