Overall very good place! Nice prices, selection and everything was explained very clearly.

My glasses broke and Specsavers replaced them for me free of charge and made sure I had a pair until my new ones came in. I was treated very well. Highly recommend Specsavers on Kingsway.

It was good, staff very attentive! Never like paying high prices on frames, mark up on frames is ridiculous over all.

Great customer Service. Everything went by very quickly and efficiently.

The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained everything easily and simply.

Excellent care, excellent folks working there, excellent service. I don't want this to be generic so I'll say something specific, I really liked how they took care of me. Because I was kinda spoiled in the UK free eye tests and practically free glasses, I'm very reluctant to ask for things here (in specific I was reluctant to ask if they could adjust the crookedness on my glasses) in canada. However, the optometrist noticed this and he requested that they fix it for me. I still don't like the pricing, but the service is excellent.

When it was time for our eye exams, my teenage daughter and I decided to try Specsavers on Kingsway, attracted by the inviting look of the premises.
I am so glad we chose this office as our experience has been excellent. All their staff was welcoming, helpful and professional. We had our eye exams performed by two experienced doctors who were, knowledgeable, patient and caring. Glasses arrived promptly.
We will, definitely, be long term customers of Specsavers.

Dr. Dhaliwal is awesome and the staff there has always been friendly and helpful with our family.

Good eye exam and good pricing for glasses!
However, I ordered my glasses a month ago; on the day they just told me they'll call me when they are ready and they are still not ready.
In the meantime, my partner did her eye test somewhere else and her glasses were ready the next week.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. I find the customer service to be very nice here. I've purchased frames, lenses, sunglasses and contact lenses and all have been at a reasonable prices. What I like most, even though I haven't been in the store for about a year, is I was recognized and treated very warmly today. Thank you.

Bright well organized store where I was welcomed by amazing staff who took their time with me and did not shy to give their opinion as to what frames work best for me. I walked out with two unique and on-trend frames. You can't but fall in love with this place. Highly recommended!

Received a professional exam and quality service from the staff in selecting my glasses. Just picked them up and couldn't be happier.

The service provided by the front desk staff was very friendly. They really took their time to explain the different glasses, prices, discounts, etc.

However, my eye exam with the ophthalmologist Dhaliwal was not that great. I felt rushed, he would just dictate orders without providing any explanation at all of what's going on during the examination. I felt like he was on a rush. The appt with him was barely 1 minute long.

Also, they do a bunch of pre-tests before you see the ophthalmologist, and while they explain you the procedure, they don't really discuss the results. So you don't really get to know if you did well or not, or what was even the purpose of doing these pre-tests. It felt like a waste of time.

Also, the equipment here for the pre tests and examination is really old, I wouldn't trust the precision of the devices really. This facility needs a renovation ASAP!

All in all, I won't be coming back here.

I went in to get my eyes tested for the first time in many years as i figured my 20/20 vision might be declining. They prescribed me two pairs glasses that make my vision worse and then closed down shop the day after I picked them up. I emailed their corporate email and it bounced back. What a waste of my time and money.

I lost a Len in my old glasses and they convinced me to get my eye checked. My prescription had change a tiny bit but I ended up with a new pair of glasses and frames, wait time 3weeks. Other went back with my old glasses, still missing one Len and asked them to replace the missing Len with an exact replacement of to the prescription of the one that fell out. That was 8weeks ago and I get no reply when I phone. Good luck dealing with them

I've been to three different image optometry and this one is by far the best. Doctor really makes you feel comfortable and also makes you feel like a cherished customer. Staff is also nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back to this one from now on.

Madelyn and Sai have not only assisted me with choosing glasses but have shown such empathy and kindness when I've had concerns. They always return my calls, too. Dr. Tej Dhaliwal is absolutely wonderful, professional, kind, understanding and everyone is ready with a smiling face... Even when wearing a mask! This optometry office is truly a place of cheerful professionalism!

Dr. Dhaliwal and the team at Image Optometry Kingsway are friendly, highly skilled and professional. I've purchased a few pairs of prescription glasses and sunglasses from them over the years and have been very happy with the purchases and experience. Dr. Dhaliwal even took extra care to provide me with advice on how to prevent my prescription from getting worse year by year (advice I have not recieved from any other Optometrist in my many years of glasses wearing).

Dr Dhaliwal and the staff provided outstanding service! From the safe distancing to the cleaning practices between patients it was great. I know my vision is in good hands here and will continue to come back in the future.

I'm typing this review as I sit on the toilet which I feel is very fitting given the lack of respect I was shown. I believe his name was Dr Dhaliwhal. He arrived almost 45 minutes late and didn't apologize for this or even mention it. Then when I was trying to describe the discomfort I was having he would continually interrupt me and just assume he knew what the issue was.

The entire experience was very offputting and I certainly won't be back. Terrible.

I recently went to this location for an eye exam and found the staff to be very friendly. From the front desk to Dr Dhaliwal everyone was very professional and had excellent cleaning protocols. Social distancing was always maintained and they even provide you with a mask if you don't bring one. Having a medical background I was really able to get a good explanation of the health of my vision.

I’ve been a client for 15 years and Dr. Dhaliwhal has taken care of my eyes for 6 years. Through the regular eye exams and abuse I’ve done by excessive contact lens wear, he continues to give me good advice. I’ve changed my “eye” lifestyle because of his caring advice.

About 2 years ago, I had a very bad experience here. I’ve been using glasses and contact lenses over 20 years, and for the first time in my life, my prescription was incorrect.

It was too strong, my eyes will get tired and then I’ll get migraines. They kept telling me “your eyes will get used to the new prescription, just give it some time”.

A few months later, I end going somewhere else and paid again for another exam, and it was clearly a lower prescription. Wasted so much money here, do not do the same mistake.

I will not suggest this place to anyone!

Came here multiple times and Dr was often late. Ended up having to wait for him to finally show up. Staff was cold and just told me to sit in the dark corner and wait for the Dr. The store was dark and seemed gloomy and dirty (dusty equipment, tables cluttered, used kleenex on the floor). I was having issues with my eyes and the Dr gave me medication drops for my eyes. It got worse and eventually went to an ophthalmologist. He said to stop using the medication and asked who prescribed it. He told me to use dry skin lotion for my eyes and said the cause of irritation was only dry skin and the original prescription was not needed. Seems like a misdiagnosis in my opinion. Let this review be a warning to you. Stay away from this care centre.

The doctor Tej is a great guy. Really puts the care into checking my eyes, especially because of my diabetes. I was there today, and they took COVID precautions very well, as they thoroughly cleaned everything before I used it.

This is the most unprofessional optometry shop I’ve ever visited. Some guy named Dhaliwal was helping me and was the most rude person I met that day. I walked out and will never go back. Hopefully they get some customer service training.

If you are looking for a new optometrist, look no longer!

I have visited Image Optometry and Dr. Dhaliwal quite a few times over the last few years, whether it be for myself or my family. In every instance, I have been greeted by courteous and professional staff. Dr. Dhaliwal, in particular, is an exceptional optometrist that is great with his patients and dedicated to providing a high standard of care.

I have also been continually impressed by the service provided by his staff, all of whom are more than happy to help with your needs. During my visit last week, for example, the staff not only helped to fix my favourite pair of glasses (free of charge!) but also spent time to aid me in finding a new pair of computer glasses. Because of their excellent service, selection, and prices, I've always decided to buy my glasses at this store.

I really have nothing but great things to say about the level of care and commitment here. Thank you, Dr. Dhaliwal!

I had an emergency with my glasses and I was promptly attended. I counted with the help of the owner who was very kind, patient and understood perfectly what I needed. Prices are affordable and the frame options are many. You can set your appointment and you will get your glasses done right away.

Just got my eyes checked here today, Dr. Dhaliwal is very professional and friendly. He answered all my questions and concerns about my retina and also provided a new prescription. Finding parking was a bit difficult but otherwise my experience here was amazing. Highly recommend them.

I've always gone here for contacts. It's impossible to contact them unless you go to the store and the numbers never seem to go to a person and directly to voicemail. Staff are friendly but it takes way to long to receive my order. I do appreciate how they give out sample contact lenses while you are waiting for our order (which often takes long) though.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t get my eyes checked often so they helped me feel comfortable with the process.

I've decided to change the review after giving them a second chance, things went very smoothly from start to finish. The staff there are wholesome and nice to talk to, I really enjoyed my appointment which is rare for me. A lot of care went into catering to my specific needs and taking my life style into consideration when fitting me with the ideal lens and frames. I think now this has become my first choice:)

Smaller clinic than ones ive gone to in past but def way better service here front and back. Doc is pretty chill and hooked up a deal cuz i bought a few versace shades.

I never got my eyes examined before I went to this location. I was refered by a co worker who recommened Dr. Dhaliwal. I initially thought my eyes were strained due to long periods of working on a computer. Dhaliwal was knowledgeable and professional at diagnosing the problem. After getting my eyes examined, it was not the strain of my eyes but it was that I needed prescription lenses. After getting my lenses, I haven't had any issues since. Really appreciate it!

Had a great experience at this clinic. I don't regularly get my eyes checked due to bad experiences in the past and my vision is not changing much but I needed an exam and was recommended here by a friend. The clinic is a bit small but it makes up for it with the service and quality of exam by Dr. Dhaliwal. He's very thorough and performed more tests than I've ever had on my eyes including a dry eye test which found that I had very dry eyes. Ever since that visit I've decided to get my eyes checked more routinely. The staff is also very friendly, I would definitely recommend this clinic if you need an eye exam!

Really enjoyed my time at this Kingsway location! Honestly, the best Image Optometry I’ve been to in Vancouver! The staff is very friendly and made me feel very comfortable while I waited for my appointment. The doctor was very knowledgeable and I ended up getting the perfect pair of Gucci frames in the end. It’s clear to see why Image Optometry has such a great community reputation.

Recently visited this clinic for spare contact lens trials as I was waiting for an order. The service was amazing and the staff is very polite and respectful. I highly recommend this clinic due to the service and great thorough exam performed by Dr. Dhaliwal. Since my first visit I've recommended all my family and friends to come here.

Second time coming to see Dr. Dhaliwal after being referred by a friend. I've had reoccurring eye issues for some time now which were not improving on advice from other Optometrists and even my family doctor. But after seeing Dr. Dhaliwal, he was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what was going on and gave me a treatment plan that actually worked! Highly recommend this clinic!

Great location and prices. Parking was hard to find but service more than made up for it. Doctor was helpful, I've had trouble finding the right fit for contacts and he helped figure out the right one for me. Highly recommend them.

I wish I could give negative stars for how regretful I am with giving business to this clinic.

I took advantage of a “deal” they had for an eye exam and prescription glasses. I was quickly rushed through an extremely unprofessional, unlegitimate eye exam with very outdated exam equipment that appeared it was recently removed from an Optometry museum. I got a questionable eye prescription that actually provided worse sight clarity than my 7 year old existing prescription. I then had my choice of glasses from a few incredibly cheap, non fashion frames - with a hard upsell on actual brand name frames, or really any frames a normal human would be interested in.
On top of this the optometrist refused to give me my prescription without a $25 fee and would not respond to any calls or emails for this request.

You get what you pay for has never rung more true. Avoid this sad excuse for a medical practice at all costs.

Went to get my lens put in my new Oakley frames for a warranty replacement. And she took like ten seconds where it should take about 30-45 minutes, she did it improperly and they snapped in three places on the frame. Not happy, these glasses are the only thing helping get around cant see without then. Will be contacting Oakley about this today.
