IMBY Bicycle Service & Repair

I recently bought a Knolly Chilcotin from IMBY this summer and was dissapointed to find that a bottom bracket and cable clip for my front brake line to be missing from my box. While it appears that this was a mistake on Knolly's end, I was dissapointed that my box was not more carefully inventoried prior to pickup. I will praise IMBY for doing the right thing and reimbursing me for any incurred cost as I did have to purchase new parts at full MSRP from my local bike store. IMBY offers amazing deals on bike products however their store hours could be see improvement. At the end of the day, I am thrilled with my new ride and thank IMBY for making it happen.

These guys go above and beyond to provide great service at a reasonable price. They are responsive and answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was putting them out. I’ll be taking my bike back here for service and upgrades.

On my first visit I needed some help with my high end Road bike. Even though they work on a lot of mountain bikes I thought I’d give it a shot as this is so close to my house and was hoping they might be able to help. They fixed my free hub issue quickly and provided a spare part that was needed. I was out in 10 min.

Super nice people as well. Try them out next time you need service.

Great customer service, very efficient and knowledgeable. Great little shop, good selection and things are actually in stock. Responded to my email request very quickly and professionally- Very impressive and makes things easy. Mechanic looked very skilled while working on a bike, I do most of my own work but I'd definitely recommend this place if you need anything done on your bike!

I was able to get an appointment for service within a day, I really liked being able to book online. Had my bike back in under a week so I'm very satisfied with the service. Staff seem very knowledgeable and the communication was great. Highly recommend.

Update: service is still impressively fast, and I’ve gone back several times because they had available appointments vs my usual bike shop had a wait of multiple days. They now can service my shock (it’s a Rocky Mountain issue not IMBY’s), and turned around fork & shock basic service in less than a day. IMBY is growing their retail items as well, and their online purchasing is great. Pricing is very fair, particularly when the speed of service is factored in. If you want your bike work done right, done fast, by good people, go to IMBY.

Original: The owners & staff are friendly, the service is really fast, really like the online booking & email notification when work is complete. However, twice they were unable to complete basic shock service after twice telling me in advance they could. And I was charged $20 to reroute a chain during a BB replacement. I’ve gone back to my old shop which takes a little longer but gets the work done.

Great service. Ordered some wheels to be built up. A staff member got in touch promptly to clarify some preferences and they appeared at my house soon after. Cheers!

Excellent service. My beauty was taken well care of and was like a shiny new penny after the guys gave her some TLC. Will be making another visit soon with my wifes bike as it's due a proper tune up. Nice job guys

IMBY just serviced my old mountain bike. They did a thorough diagnostic so I could prioritize what I needed to get done. They were able to get my invoice amount where I felt comfortable. Even though I didn’t get everything fixed, my bike is running nicely and all tuned up for spring.

The staff at IMBY are super friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. Always willing to help with any bike related questions even local trail recommendations. These guys have never failed to get me and my bike ready for the trails with parts, service, accessories and apparel. And always with reasonable prices.

Very receptive along the process of ordering parts, even with delays outside of their control they kept me up to date through the whole process. Once parts arrived, the rim i ordered was built up to my wheel quickly which i was stoked about. Would recommend.

When all other bike shops have a 6-8 week wait for service, IMBY was able to schedule me for a service in only a few days. Great selection of parts and accessories, a lot of which you cannot find anywhere else.

They were detailed and took the time to explain the work that needs to be done on the bike. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and provided excellent service.

I was able to find some parts here that weren’t available anywhere else. Staff are super friendly and they ride our local trails. Good crew.

The crew that works here are not only passionate about bikes, but they know their stuff! More importantly they are friendly and inclusive to all levels of riding, I did not experience any attitude I've experienced at other "high-end" shops.

They guys here treated you like your at a car garage, with all the details of what your bike needs, what has to be repaired, what can wait and with an ala cart service. I have taken my DH bike here and it was ready in days for whistler. I have taken my ebike here and and was ready the next day ready for a trip after messing up my drive train. All this during Covid and short supply of parts.

I have been a few times to IMBY Bikes to purchase parts for my bikes. The IMBY Bikes team has always been very supportive in addressing all my technical questions and providing detailed explanations and recommendations.

Everyone at the shop are so super helpful! Always knowledgeable and engaging. Will be a long time customer for sure!
