Impostori Trattoria + Negroni Bar

Food was out of this world, every plate was excellent and the service was the best I had in Vancouver.

A 5 star experience with amazing staff, top quality food cooked by an even greater Frenchman Clement! Set menu was perfect.

So good. The food was delicious and we haven’t had such good service in a while. Fred is the best. I’m torn between telling everyone or keeping this a hidden gem. Thanks for a lovely time, we’ll definitely be back.

Did a dinner for 5 and asked the staff to feed us. Boy did they exceed expectations!
Lots of food, well presented and extremely tasty.
Service was on point and the ambience was pleasant.
Although it was a tad pricy, I thought the value was worth the cost.

Been to a lot of restaurants in this city, but to have such good service is so rare. Fred is one of a kind. Thanks for making our evening so special. I've noticed other reviews praising the service too, so its obvious this wasn't an anomaly.

Also, the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the Burrata and the chicken dish.

I had such a delightful evening here for dinner and drinks! Our server Simon was top-notch and all of the food was simply wonderful. I had mushroom soup, risotto al limone, and osso buco milanese. Everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delectable. I also recommend the espresso martini and the coppa di cioccolata dolci. My dinner date had the ricotta, pea+mint ravioli with lamb meatballs and a nightly special for his secondi. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Dined last night at Impostori for the first time with friends. They do a fantastic riff on Caesar salad starter. For the pasta course we had the daily special duck agnolotti. They were delicate and savoury with blueberries and walnuts on top adding some nice balance and texture. The catch of the day was sockeye and it was perfectly cooked, nestled on risi e bisi with shrimp and spears of al dente asparagus. It all paired well with a nice Verdicchio. For dessert we had the zuppa inglesa and I finished up with a espresso correto. We’ll be back!

This place is just absolutely incredible. The food is immaculate and the service is just the same. This is quickly becoming my go-to spot for delicious Italian wine and food. I highly recommend!

Went for dinner on Saturday with my husband. Sat on their lovely patio and received exceptional service. The food was delicious, and the menu felt like a trip to Italy with its authentic flavours, dedication to quality and taste. We loved our experience and can’t wait to go back.

Just got back from my birthday dinner with the family at Impostori. It was amazing and we will definitely be back! Everyone was so warm and welcoming! The space is beautiful and they have a lovely patio as well! Since they aren't doing the family style dining at the moment, we ordered a lot of dishes that we just shared at the table. Our server Fred was great and helped us with suggestions on what to order and how many dishes for the 7 of us. We ordered almost the entire menu! Every dish was absolutely delicious! Fred suggested focaccia for the table (amazing and a must) and ordered more to soak up all the delicious sauces. Had 3 antipasti (carpaccio, watermelon salad and millefoglie of mushrooms (this was a standout). Had 3 primi (risotto, bucatini (loved this), and the house special pesto pasta). Had 4 secondi (lamb, tuna, roast chicken (this too was a standout) and the 16 ounce veal special). Also ordered a boulliabasse for mom. Several Negroni's, a few bottles of wine and a few americanos to round it out with one butterscotch dessert to share! So special to hear Jeremy (?) sing at several points in the evening with a happy birthday in Italian at the end! He has a beautiful voice and it was lovely.
