In Touch Chiropractic

I initially went to Dr. Roy for a second opinion. I was seeing another chiropractor for over a year and despite following all that chiropractor's instructions and advice, my spine wasn't improving and it eventually resulted in chronic pain.

My experience with Dr. Roy was great. He is experienced, knowledgeable, empathetic, positive, patient, and kind. He used diagnostic tools to show me the current state of my spine and created a plan to heal my spine. After following the plan from Dr. Roy, not only did my chronic pain go away, but my recent evaluation showed my spine was finally improving!

And a quick shout-out to his staff as well - they are positive, friendly and kind. Abigail (their kinesiologist) went over a personalized exercise routine with me and showed me how to do the exercises properly.

I highly recommend seeing Dr. Roy!

I have a condition called ankylosing spondylitis and I was skeptical when I originally came to work on my back. I came for 15 visits and I have so much improvement it's unbelievable.

After trying couple of chiropractors, I should say I found the one you can trust in his knowledge and skills. I felt much better after my first treatment. I got very impressed by his professional approach to any spine misalignment by taking x-ray in his office.

After seeing Dr. Roy, I have regained more mobility in my neck and lower back. The best outcome so far? My sleep has improved and that alone is amazing. The staff are also very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Nothing but pleasant experiences at In Touch Clinic!

Visiting Dr. Ahren Roy at his clinic has been such a pleasure. He was able to accurately diagnose my symptoms, prescribe an action plan and provide comforting treatment all whilst remaining professional and ensuring each appointment was at a time appropriate for me.

The reception staff at In Touch Chiropractic are very warm, welcoming and kind. They'll make sure your documents are in order and your payments stress-free. The kinesiologist there is also very helpful and informative! She walked me through all my exercises and answered any questions I had.

All in all, I really recommend In Touch Chiropractic if you're even remotely curious about getting any chiropractic work done!

My first visit with Dr. Ahren Roy was approximately one month ago. From the start, the entire experience has been excellent. This goes for the entire team at In Touch Chiropractic.

Coming into this, I had the pleasure of being able to explain my entire situation, and to be met with a attentive ear and patience. It's refreshing to not only be told what the process moving forward is; but rather, a detailed explanation as to why certain things are the way they are, and how to improve.

A holistic approach. At In Touch, there’s a kinesiologist who helps with stretches which is such an integral part to recovery. Suggestions of other aides also come with clear explanation of cost so people can choose accordingly.

I was in need of a physical therapist when I came across InTouch Chiropractic. At age 16, I was hit by a car on my left side, causing me temporary paralysis and a frontal lobe head injury. This traumatic event has resulted in little to no mobility in my toe, knee, and hips. After my first adjustment with Dr. Ahren Roy, I felt immense pain relief throughout my entire body. I have continued to see him on a weekly basis because these adjustments and rehab therapy have given me most of my mobility back. I have seen many professionals, doctors, and therapists in my life because of my injuries, but only Dr. Ahren Roy has been able to relieve my pain and has helped me regain my strength and overall mobility. At first I was a bit skeptical because I had heard mixed information about the benefits of Chiro. For a few months I wasn’t sure if it was helping or making things worse because as Dr. Roy restored mobility to the areas of my body that were most restricted, I became aware of injuries and vulnerabilities that I didn’t realize I had.

Now after one year I’m finally reaping the major benefits of coming in for adjustments regularly. All the vulnerabilities and injuries that worried me initially feel far less vulnerable because those areas of my body can move more freely.

I used to feel stiffness or aches that would persist no matter how much I tried to release the tension and now all of those areas will release themselves naturally because my range of movement is less restricted.

One of the things about my body that concerned me the most when I started was that I suspected I was suffering from early onset sciatica. The pain and vulnerability I felt in that area is now gone!

I have far less tension in my shoulders and neck too.

In addition, I sleep better and feel better when I wake up because my body feels more relaxed.

I am so happy that Dr. Roy took the time to educate me about the process and my own physical condition during our initial consultation because it helped me stick with the sessions and trust that I’d get the result I eventually did.

Coupled with the Chiro I have been both exercising to build more stability in my muscles and doing yoga to increase my body awareness and flexibility.

It’s almost unbelievable for me to look back to just one year ago to when I was only 30 and was really worried about my body ageing in comparison to now because I feel significantly more in control of my body and I’m no longer afraid of living in perpetual pain.

I’d recommend that anyone with restricted movement or pain in their body to go in for a consultation to see if Chiro is right for you. Dr. Roy and the staff at InTouch are aligned with all the values I think makes it the best place— affordable, reliable, and genuinely considerate of my individual needs.

Very happy can find this clinic, Dr. Roy very professional and kind. Offer me very detailed X-ray find the real problem which cause my spine curve and my hand numbness. Did one month adjustment my hand numbness almost gone. Will continue to see him, hope my spine curve will get better too.

The offices are very nice and the reception is always happy to help. Using text to book an appointment is super convenient and quick. The care here is very good and affordable. Just shy of 5 stars because their hours can be difficult to make work for people who work long hours.

Awesome experience. I’ve went to 5 chiropractors prior and was never able to get my problem fixed. InTouch Chiropractic was the only place that seemed to be able to deal with my back problems and I feel 100% better now. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a chiropractor. My husband uses this chiropractor weekly! We recently moved to Vancouver and he has been great. Somethings that are awesome about the office is its low contact. You get a fob to sign yourself in - the staff are so helpful and friendly. The doctor is knowledgeable - explains things but doesn't over explain. Very happy with the experience. Highly recommend.

I was struggling with back pain and Sciatica pain in right leg from last 2 years. I moved from Toronto to Vancouver so was looking for some good Chiro to continue my treatment. I reached out to Dr. Roy and explained my whole situation after taking sitting for almost a month I didn't find a good relief. After doing all possible x-ray's and everything I was expecting at least 50-60% relief as Chiro treatment has worked for me before but this time the treatment failed I would say. So please do your research before making any appointments. If you don't have lot of money to buy equipments and multiple sittings, I would not suggest this clinic to you.

I just want to say how much I appreciate In-Touch for being so accommodating with my crazy schedule. I can TEXT the office at anytime and when the receptionist is in, he responds right away and we can easily re- schedule the appt and I repeat, all through text! Not sure how InTouch gets high ratings.
Each treatment takes only 1 minute (not exiggerating) instead of 20 minutes like other Chiropractors. If you’ve been to other chiropractor, you will realize that other ones can do sooooo much more

I'm feeling very safe with the Covid practises in place. Dr Roy does a full intake with pictures that you get so you can see what he is talking about. Even through a car accident was not the way I wanted to find this place, I'm happy that I did.

Dr. Ahren is one of the best chiros out there that I've been seeing for a while now. He has a knack for minute detail and a sharp eye for your body's muscular feedbacks. His specialty in Radiology is what you can ask for to make him the complete package.
Rob is very patient and helpful and he always makes sure to fit your appointments in your busy schedules with your preference. I would highly recommend to try InTouch out.

Have been seeing Dr Ahren for various misalignments for years. Dr Ahren is always patient and caring, not just as a doctor but also like a friend.he is effective at diagnosing issues and causes, so he is not only adjusting you to relieve you symptoms but also give you advices and exercises to get to the cause of your issue. Aron and his team have done a great job for my back. Very professional in a nice laid back environment. I have done a series of adjustments and traction work, and it has really made a difference for my overall mobility and pain management. In Touch has been great. They are efficient with your time and provide great in-office rehab. Their use of an x-ray machine has been very helpful. It's nice to have a visual of the problem, as well as tracking the progress.

I was amazed by the professionalism all of the staff has shown, I was also impressed with how thorough their assessments are.

Unfortunately this was my first chiropractic experience. I was told I would need to be seen three days a week for a extended period of time, I followed the regime for a couple months having zero relief. This put me off Chiropractic treatments for quite some time.

Finally my friend convinced me to see his chiropractor. No X-rays No lengthy treatment plan. Just four visits and I had more relief then I ever had in my life, when I asked this Doctor how often I should see him, he told me that I should just book in when I felt the need or if something went out. With his proper treatment I didn't need to see him until a future injury.

Staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating to every patients needs. My migraines have reduced significantly since getting treatments. They are flexible and can work around your schedule which helps you commit to treatments and get better. I highly recommend In Touch Chiropractic

Edit: If you do end up going to InTouch, please remember that if it is made to seem like your back problems are serious enough to warrant X-rays, you have every right to go to your family/walk-in doctor to get a second opinion, as X-rays are covered for FREE by our BC healthcare. Please keep this in mind in case you are put on the spot to spend $150 on X-rays while at InTouch Chiropractic.

I made an appointment for the New Patient deal for the free consultation, as I only have mild neck stiffness, due to being a student and sitting all day. I was hoping to hear whether an adjustment would be necessary as my discomfort is nothing extreme but I want to help my posture. During the appointment Dr. Roy explained some basic knowledge about spine health, then informed me to go forward with the exam it would be $100, and if I needed X-rays, another $150. I agreed to go forward with the appointment thinking this was when I would receive the adjustment. He asked me a few questions about my history, (I've never had any major injuries) examined my back for 2 seconds, then suggested X-rays. I was shocked to hear this and made me feel like there was maybe a bigger problem then I originally had thought, so I agreed to the X-rays. End of appointment. $250 later, I left with the feeling of "What just happened? " as I remembered that I only went in there for mild neck stiffness and hopes to improve my posture. Which part of that was the free consultation? I had paid $250, for X-rays, which I feel very confidently I did not need, nor did I receive an adjustment.

For my next appointment to see the X-rays I went in with the feeling I had been swindled, but I would see my results, get my adjustment and carry on. I had some minor misalignments seen on the X-rays (everyone will), and surprise surprise, some neck pressure. After a lot of smooth talking from Dr. Roy about how I will need 3 adjustments PER WEEK for many months and more X-rays to see if a shoe insert fits me properly. I had to say I can only afford 1 adjustment right now, as I am a student. So I received my hilariously short adjustment, Dr. Roy spent (not an exaggeration by any means) 1 minute on me. Cracked my neck on each side, my mid back, and cracked my right hip. The end. Another $60.

From the research I did prior, an adjustment usually involves full body movements, from neck to toes, and massaging of tight areas. It did feel strange when on my second appointment he wanted to double check whether I had been to a chiropractor before, or if any family members had been to a chiropractor before. This was my first time, but I definitely don't believe this is standard treatment. Please go somewhere else for your treatment and don't get strung along like I did.

I've been going to this Clinic for about 5 years now. The staff is fantastic and professional. I love the fact that I can be in and out for an adjustment in under 10 mins. My body feels so much better and my migraines are a lot less then they used to be. I definitely recommend this clinic to any one in need of Chiropractic services.

Excellent service and very professional. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating. Having not been to a chiropractor before I was a little nervous, but almost instantly I felt very confident with being adjusted by Dr. Ahren. He’s very knowledgable, friendly, and transparent!

I’ve only been a couple times so far, but Dr. Roy took the time to sit down with me and walk me through the process and set out a knife intensive plan that will get me on a path to healing. On top of that, the staff is friendly and very helpful as well. I would recommend them.

Dr Ahren Roy at INTOUCH chiropractic is a very professional and thorough chiropractor. I have had back issues for a long time now and have been to many chiropractors and other medical doctors.
Dr. Roy did an assessment and X-Rays right in his clinic. In two days, from x-Rays he diagnosed the problem as an infection in my spine. He even went a step further and had a radiologist to write a professional report. My doctor had my X-RAY August 2019 but did not read the report or she could have started the treatment. She admits her mistake!

Always very happy after my adjustment. Before any of this i was always in pain specially the very first time I should up in there. I think it's been almost 2 or 3 years now but I feel awesome. I could barely walk or move before. Due to accident and sport. The doc was very good, he was able to help me. He Give my life back. Not completely but better than before.

Well to be honest I didn’t have to much confidence in Dr Ahren at the beginning because he has different methods of treatment but now after three months I know I have chosen right DOCTOR for my SPINE so if you have double thoughts just STOP you are at the right place. It is hard and it takes a long time but you gone feel better and better every day.

Stay away from these sharks. They may have good skills but ethic is the foundation of real doctors. They pressured me to take a lot of x-ray photos for $200. And they keep pushing for appointments and without going over my results. This place should get investigate by hidden camera and put on TV. I can go to a court to testify my statement and review is 100% true.
