Indigo - Park Royal

The Indigo inside of Park Royal is a neat little bookstore for all ages to wander around and find almost anything you look for. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet. Overall it is a great place to look for if you are looking to get some reading done.

Kai was extremely helpful and it was obvious he enjoys life. The type of employee I’d want on my team!

The staff at this location are super friendly and helpful. I came in looking for a specific manga and they helped locate it in a few minutes

Not even just book store. I enjoyed many cute Christmas things and gift items. It is nice place to get new trends and ideas.

Lots of good books. If not in stock you can order it. Be sure to ask an employee to order it online.

Most staffs are helpful but the senior staff lady was rude even racism to some customers. It’s disappointing to see that!

I am used to Metrotown Indigo open space. I didn't find a lot of selection. A bit disappointed.

Stefan was helpful and delightful telling us about the nightowl book, he also recommended since buying so many books get a chapter indigo card and you'll save which I did. Not only that there was another person after checking out my items they ran out of bags and I said np to purchase a gift bag which is recycled he had someone run to the front to get it for me. Not as nice as the Robson or Granville indigo for kids but still a very good brick and mortar book store.

Good selection of books. Found what I was looking for. Needs staff but still good experience at the check out.

It was a good store but hard to find things like day planners and school supplies, walked all over for it and when we found the books we needed the line up was at least twenty people long and only two cashier's that were so slow we put the stuff back and left. We bought the books at metrotown

Its a decent bookstore on ground floor. The stuff is helpful if you need help with books or other stuff. Sometimes they have sales on books. I bought a poetry book and black pens.

They have the satanic bible which is perfect for my cult- I mean interest group. POGGERS.that is the calling of the Gen z cult - Eris signing out

Quite a long queue in the entrance as they are limiting people inside and another queue to the cashier. But all in all, great service and choices of stuff inside.

Much like any other Indigo. Maybe a little smaller. Staff were helpful once you find them. Quick checkout.

I enjoyed looking through all their books. The aisles are large, and the store is well stocked. Happy reading!

Came here because the one nearer to me closed down. I still don't like the book selection or layout as much, but that is a compliment to the old one, not an insult to this one. Employees work hard to help you find a book that suits you, and there is a Starbucks inside.

Staff were helpful, went during holiday season, so fatigue was showing from the customer service.

Indigo book has been one of our family favorite places for years.

Indigo bookstore within Park Royal South. It's located at the East end of the mall on the ground floor. One of the few remaining bookstores around. There's a great selection of books, nicely laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. Also a nice place to look for gifts and knick knacks. A nice kids section with toys and books and educational items. There's an in store Starbucks that's closed. There's currently occupancy restrictions so there's usually a small lineup to get in the store. With the occupancy limit the store is quite sparsely occupied and so it feels safe to shop there.

I find this store very nice to shop in. Friendly customer service and nice presentation of products. They have a great home goods/gift area as well as a great selection of books. My young daughters love their Young Readers area and also all the fun toys and backpacks. They offer really great sale stock on both toys and gifts! Bonus!

The selection there is great, but the store layout is very strange and there are few seats.

I understand this store may not be as big as some other Indigos/Chapters but I still believe it should be made more comfortable rather than a *enter* *buy book* *leave*

Very happy cheerful customer service, never had a problem when I order online and come into the store to pick up so I avoid shipping charges

Went in at Saturday before Christmas and the line up was crazy long, almost walked out but stayed. Glad we did the staff had us through in no time flat! All with smiles on as well!

Nothing of obscurity in stock. Computer catalog broken. Inexperienced staff. What is on the shelves caters to the lowest common denominator.

Excellent customer service during a hectic rush. There was a huge lineup to the cash and that didn’t frazzle the employees one bit, they provided wonderful customer service and solved my return issue promptly. I especially loved how I overheard staff helping eachother our with questions - there’s a great culture of mutual respect there and it’s lovely to see. I think management must be doing a good job to promote this culture as well.

Was able to get some unique gifts. The line was long with Christmas shoppers but it moved really fast.

My kids’ happy place to be. I love Indigo brand, but stores quite vary from place to place. The park royal location is fun, convenient and neat. Besides great selection of books they always carry cute home and kitchen stuff.

Enjoy this store. Lots of selection with friendly and helpful staff. Like any bookstore/library, things get misplaced and the staff has always been helpful in the search for the missing book.

Not a place that you can find a big collection of books. It's more like a boutique store than a bookstore. They sell books though!
If you are looking for a place to buy a cute gift for your friends or family, this is the place that you want to pay a visit.

One of the nicest Indigo's around, great selection of books, fantastic staff who are always happy to help and be there. At least they seem to be, which is the important part of leaving a good impression, and they definitely have.

Parking is a nightmare, but there is lots of shopping and restaurant within walking distance. If you find parking don't let it go - trying to move closer to the next set of shops and park there will be next to impossible unless you are coming at non peak hours. Its a really nice mall and makes for a good shopping experience.

Nice modern mall but the handicap parking spots on P2 level of the north mall parkade, just above Loblaws are really handicap spots in name only; they don't conform to the acceptable standards and are the same width as normal spots. I don't know why they get away with this.

Fantastic selection of books and great deals. Bought four books for $10! Staff is friendly and helpful.

This store has a great selection of books, cards, a small selection but high quality of paper products, knick nacks, and a huge selection of magazines. This is one of my favorite locations because they have a very friendly and helpful staff.

Preferred the old indigo location on marine drive in North Van but it closed so the only option on the north shore is now Park Royal. This store is quite small and does not have the selection like the north van location did. The kids section is hurting by not having nearly the selection of toys and books. Miss the north van store.

I bought "Jane Eyre" and "To kill a mockingbird" for a really good price. I love that they have many options for the same book, so I can choose which edition is better for me.

Large, diverse selection of books, friendly and helpful staff, very effective checkout moves quickly when busy.

Ignored by staff. Children's book section was a disastrous mess. I really miss small local bookstores

Worst customer service!
I ordered books to be delivered to the store on a promo for Christmas; they showed up in 4 separate orders 8 weeks apart and when I called for the final order saying I can pick it up one such-and-such day, the girl said OK I will put a note on it and we'll see you then!
My books were apparently returned within a few days. The staff did NOT care enough to look at the note/help their customers. So now I am out two Christmas gifts that I can't buy in-store as they aren't there and I won't pay shipping or give them anymore business now.

Very good place to shop, the books are a little expensive, and the lines are very long alot of the times but great place.
