I visited this location for the first time on July 8,2023, and I was mot disappointed. They have a large selection of books of all kinds. They also have magazines, pens, notebooks, games toys as well all other things you might not expect at a book store. The Starbucks that's attached to the store is a big plus! You can get your coffee and stroll around and look at/buy loads of books and such.

I returned an online book that arrived damaged, so I reodered it for in-store pickup. When I picked it up in-store, I discovered that it was the very same damaged book. An honest mistake I get it, but still disappointing.

I came in looking for a book on Mexican food. Left with a book on vegan cuisine. Haven't read it. Looks good on the shelf. I'm not vegan. I have a problem. Help me

My only complaint is indigo is starting to look like Homesense (Pillows, blankets, kettle’s etc…. Otherwise good customer service and good book selections.

I enjoyed a very nice time shopping here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Found a book I have wanting to purchase and pricing is fair. There is a Starbucks attached to store so easy to grab a book and coffee. Place was clean and organized.

They have more than books here. There another section just for children. My kids love it. And there's Starbucks, toys, trinkets too!

Great place to find the perfect book. I do miss the family friendly Chapters styling over the dark and posh Indigo layout of the store.

I can't overexpress how amazing the staff here are! Everytime I'm in, everyone is so helpful and willing to assist me in hunting down books I'm looking for! Also last time I was in I was having a horrible day and a staff member complimented my shoes and her genuinity made me so happy. I walked in frowning and left with a huge smile on my face. I really wish I remembered her name, but I just really wanted to give her a shout out for making my day!

I entered this store today. To find some new books for my children. And i was asked to leave as the mask i was wearing was a balaklava style istead of one that hangs on your ears. Rediculous. The government has made the mask mandate clear as to the requirement of having to wear a mask. If i choose to wear one more comfortable to me that still falls under those guidelines then i am in compliance. You cant dictate what i wear. I will never set foot in a chapters/ indigo store again. Rediculous.

Had a vanilla iced coffee and read a book I bought from indigo next door. Very relaxing interior and comfy seats in a corner

Years ago, a little engine that could called "Chapters" showed us all that large buildings filled with books that aren't libraries are still a pleasant place to spend some time and learn new things.

Now that little engine has grown into a mighty Indigo behemoth, and the non library building has made room for small gifts, varieties of clothing, plants, and believe it or not, books.

I love reading, I love comfy chairs, and even though I don't drink it, I love the backdrop scent of coffee. I can have all these things in this store. If you also enjoy such simple pleasures, and you can afford the continually outrageous price of books (seriously, why is my book $9 more than in the US?), then get yourself in here and get good and booked all up in your bookal region.

I needed a certain book, and there was only one left in the store, but I couldn't get there to pick it up for two days. I also had a gift card that I wanted to use. I was on the phone with Lisa, who walked me through everything I needed to do online, to purchase the book and keep it safe until I could get there, and also to redeem my gift card. She was kind and patient, and I really appreciated all of her help.

Less and less of a book store every time I go here. No one around to ask for help, the one search computer avaliable had some one there the entire time I was in the store. Finally decided to ask the greater at the door who was just off shift but was able to take me to what I was looing for. Aside from that location is clean well spaced out, no clumping up of people except behind the line to use the computer. They do have a good selection of cards if you're looking!

Well laid out store with lots of selection. Decided to buy a book today. Been almost 2 years since I did so. Was happy they had a fairly minor title. Almost bought a Starbucks while I was there.

I have a mask that covers my face, mouth, chin and neck but was told I was not allowed in because it was not "fitted" under my chin. Unreasonable to say the least. I have a long beard therefore a conventional mask will not stay "fitted" under my chin. No other store seems to have an issue.

If you have a mask exemption/disability don't come here! I have a doctors note for my exemption and because of that I wore a face-shield. They refused to let me wear it regardless of my doctors note and regardless of my breathing condition. I didn't know that you guys at qualified doctors on staff that suddenly know better than my physician. Get bent.

One of the last big book stores. Very spacious, with lots of selections of books to choose from. It's in Langley next to a starbucks if you're feeling thirsty for a drink.

Still has books but sad to see selections in store are only popular mainstream writers. Still fun to visit and take kids to get a book or two

I really miss the old Chapters store. Having to navigate my way around tables of silly nonsensical things that are designed to help me make impulse buying decisions, is annoying especially with a mobility walker. I'm there to buy books, games, puzzles not perfumed candles and pillows!

Staff are always super friendly and helpful, lineups move super fast. Great service and comfortable shopping environment.

Disgusted by this companies policy of making small children 2 years and up wear a mask, even if they are crying and saying the mask hurts and they can't breath. The people who made this arbitrary decision do not have empathy for families and how difficult this whole situation is for young children who do not understand the process. Please put more thought into your store policies, so that families are included and children don't think that they're doing something wrong, just for not feeling comfortable. Also, buying online, when you're coming into the store isn't a realistic option. I like your store but depending on you're response to this, I will stop buying here.

My daughter got a gift card for her birthday last month so we finally had a chance to go see about getting her some books. They refused entry because my daughter won't wear masks. My daughter just turned 5 and cannot breath wearing them. Usually we have been ok but today they refused to let us in because she would not wear one.

Had 15 minutes til closing, so thought I would take a quick peak at the candles and scarves!
Well I guess the older blonde worker wanted to go home, she tells me there closed, I take out my phone it's 8.48, I said you close at 9 it's 8.48. Then she proceeds to babble on that Starbucks is still open! I have never come across someone so rude and condescending! Should be FIRED!

It's Indigo. Lots of stuff to buy if you want your space curated for you in the most trendy way possible. It's good that there are still books. The Starbucks gets a 60% on inclusion. I asked for code to the gender neutral/wheelchair accessible washroom twice (was waiting for car to be fixed down the road for a few hours). The first time, the barista just ignored my request and misgendred me by telling me to use the next bathroom, which was the women's room. The next time I asked for the code to the gender neutral washroom specifically in those words, and the barista told me the code without skipping a beat. Lesson to Starbucks: teach your baristas better gender theoryi If someone asks for the code/key for the washroom, just give it to them. Also, why is the gender neutral/wheelchair accessible bathroom deserving of a special code anyways? This leads to more stigma, not less.

They recently renovated this location and wow it looks amazingg! Although they may need more helpful and friendly staff but they were still okay and tried

Best bookstore in Langley, hands down. Well organized, everything is easy to find and the customer service representatives are both helpful and pleasant. Always my first choice either for a gift or for myself.

WWWHAT A BEAUTIFUL STORE! Such a breathtaking Interior Decor & Design motif. This Indigo in Langley is soooo MASSIVE!
With each section/area being individualized by it's decor, and
decorated with class, and to almost perfect perfection. There's an area decorated with modern decor for each and every different book genres, one for home decor, a wonderful section with Journals & Sketch Books, with choices of pens that range from your basic Paper-mate Pens all the way to the most beautiful of calligraphy pens to please every different person and personality! There's also a section that is decoratrd to represent most womens DREAM walk in closet, and many other different areas & sections to please all different individuals. The transition from one Section to the next just flow so effortlessly from one to another! Although subtle, this Indigo building stands with it's own style of bold sophistication!
The music songlists that are played in the background as people are sitting to read at the variety of tables so tastefully positioned with comfy enough chairs and or couches provided to satisfy both of those who like the hustle & bustle of the Shoppers, or for those who prefer the quieter areas and or those with more privacy.
Whether you are shopping for a Secret Santa type gift, for yourself, maybe you're looking for the perfect personal gift for someone special, or perhaps it's a gift for the new teacher. Also, you are never hard up to find a wonderfully friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and eager staff members to help you find just what your looking for! Either way, this INDIGO is the place to be. Once you've found your perfect read grab a Latte, a snack, your new read and also seat inside the adjoining/instore Starbucks, or perhaps you'd prefer to sit outside on the patio.
THIS INDIGO IS BY FAR ONE OF MY NEWEST AND MOST FAVOURITE STORES!
KEEP UP THE AWESOMENESS INDIGO!

Nothing quite like a bookstore, can get lost for hours just looking at the different titles and such. On top of that there are plenty of people around to make sure your questions are handled

Every time I have had to go here or call to see if they have something in stock, the staff are super helpful and quick to find what I need.
Love the vast selection of books and I even think it’s fun that they’re adding more merch.
