Indochino

Needed a suit for wedding in 6 weeks and they said they can’t do anything as it takes 4 to 5 weeks for a suit to be ready. I said I have 6 weeks so I have time and they said no your timing is very tight and we can’t help you. Didn’t even bother to offer check other stores or any help whatsoever. Looks like they don’t even want customers.

Worse than off the wrack. I've had to salvage this suit with an experienced tailor.

The initial fit when my suit arrived was comical. I really couldn't see the point in spending 60 mins getting measured.

After a few amendments, it's still not a good fit and I'll have to go to a proper tailor instead.

Very kind people, but super inexperienced and there seems to be a real disconnect between the in-store price tag and the of the off-shore deliverable.

If you are going to spend this kind of money, I recommend looking for a tailor or getting something nice off the wrack.

EDIT - Branden at Indochino helped us and completely rectified the issues we had. He had us send photos of the poor fit and ordered us a new suit for my fiance, the new suit fit perfect. Branden completely changed our experience with Indochino, we are very grateful and happy with the suit now.

My fiancé visited the Vancouver showroom in March and got fitted for a suit. When we were there I had to confirm many times with the person taking our measurements that the suit would not fit the way he had it pinned. He assured us that no, he would reflect in the measurements that it would fit tighter/fit right.

Sure enough, when the suit arrived it looked exactly how it was pinned even though I questions the bagginess in the legs and the length of the jacket and the jacket sleeves in store. I emailed them right away and they responded advising we they needed a decision in 10 days. While we did definitely reach out late, I cannot believe how unhelpful they are being at getting my fiancé in to a suit that fits, a suit that should have fit perfectly as we travelled 6 hours each way to get fitted by a professional. I provided them photos of how terrible the fit was and they are only offering to cover the cost of the alterations.which I legit don't think will fix our issues. If Indochino's customer service was willing to help get my fiancé in to a suit that fit, I would think about maybe using or recommending them again to someone else but I will most definitely be shopping elsewhere next time due to this extremely stressful process.

This is also extremely frustrating because I know two people personally who were given new suits from Indochino due to extremely poor fit and it was well past the 10 day "deadline". I am talking 2-3 months past that deadline.

My only hope is that this does not happen to someone else and that Indochino would be willing to support their customers and fix their original mistake. I have been in contact with customer support and got no where, so hopefully someone else in the company can reach out and help us. But as of right now we are left with a suit that doesn't fit and a wedding in 5 weeks.

Easy and convenient to make appointment for custom jacket fitting. Tailor did well. Feel they can display their fabrics and the options on showroom better at yaletown location

Very disappointed. I trusted Indochino to make a suit for me and my groomsmen for my wedding and none of them were a proper fit. The quality of the suit was good but the fact we had to travel a long distance to go to the measurement because “they had to do the measurements” I felt they didn’t care about what I wanted or how I wanted the suit to fit. The individual doing the measurement made me feel I was wrong for wanting something a certain way and ignored my requests. It wasn’t a great experience unfortunately and probably would not get another suit from them again based on how the suit was made and how much it cost.

Came here with a few of my friends to purchase a wedding suit.

A little disappointed with my suit. I first felt confident after the experience online of choosing my suit and going into a store to get measured. Once I received the suit, it was quite clear that the quality is subpar. Especially after knowing where exactly it was shipped from.

After receiving the suit, I had to go back in to make adjustments several times because it didn't fit right. The representatives also do not seem to know very well about how a suit should fit on a person. I was the one who had to make the suggestions on what to tailor. This will likely be the last time that I purchased a suit from here.

Nadish is very professional and in my opinion the backbone to the company in this region. If you’re looking for someone who actually cares and is extremely skilled at their job, you have to go see him directly. Being from Chilliwack, my first instinct was to go to Metrotown…. Spend the extra 15-20 mins to make the trip to Yaletown. I have suits that’s are 5+k that do not compare to how these ones fit. I only had to get measured once and everything showed up to my house, I didn’t even have to get refit or need any adjustments. This guy is a total rockstar and will have my lifelong business whether he is with Indochino or not. He is a master in his trade.

When you go, ask for Ayden. Super knowledgeable in fashion and fabric and an all-around amazing tailor who can guide you through this process with the endless options that Indochino provides. Ayden if you read this, you rock!

Twice, we had a bad experience in the Vancouver showroom.

The first time, my son in law was buying a suit and while he was trying on a jacket, another salesperson was hovering over him, pressuring him to remove it so he could take it to his customer. Our salesperson did nothing and we never felt welcome, just another number.

The second time. I went in to buy a suit and my salesperson dropped me and walked away when he felt we weren't buying and never returned. We walked out 10 minutes later as nobody else even acknowledged our presence.

The worst was when I submitted a complaint on the website, I got an autoresponder and a day later, a follow up email saying the store would contact me. A day after that, an auto generated survey on my support experience, which I rated awful and nothing for 2 days since.

They are a waste of time, even if they were the best suits for the lowest price, go spend your money elsewhere. Even the corporation doesn't care.

The agent who helped us was very patient and helpful. The measurements and style decision probably took close to an hour so booking a time is a necessity!
Also, the end price was similar to an off the shelf dinner jacket that I purchased that does not fit as well as a tailored that I will now return.

Nice suit but way over priced. All suits come from a factory in China. Suit was “custom” but when it came, was way too small. Took to local seamstress and she said everyone who brings and indochino suit is either way to big, or tiny. Find a local suit company and avoid buying from China.

I bought from Indochino today for the first time, and Shadi took care of my size and customization. I must confess that it was one of the best experiences I've had with custom suits. Shadi interacted with me in a professional manner, explaining every detail and listening to my preferences for the suit. I truly enjoyed the quality of their textiles, the professionalism of their staff, and the overall awesome experience! I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and anyone looking for a great business suit experience!

Suits are great, store is nice and displays sophistication.
The only downside is that not everyone is used to buy custom made suits and the process is different. Maybe having sales persons to explain the process from start to finish before everything, so the customer feels more comfortable and actually enjoy the process instead of feeling unsecured about the outcome.
My case is that I'm buying a suit for my wedding in September and wanted to make sure I can have a final fitting before I take it to my home country (because I can loose or gain a little bit of weight until there). When trying to explain that, the salesperson was a little pushy focused on finalizing the sale (guess because of their cut) I was completely ignored and that just made me feel worried about ending with a suit that doesn't look good on my big day.
Customer service is key to your business model, listen to the customer needs and it would be easy to provide them an incredible experience.

Excellent service! Makka fit me very well. My pants were a little tight at the waist when they arrived but I took them in and got them altered in 30 mins. Did not expect that!

Super fun easy experience! Still have to wait and see how the suits turn out but I was in and out in less that 45 minutes!
