I have been coming to Sara for almost a decade and she never disappoints! She has altered my prom dress, hemmed several pairs of pants and completed numerous other difficult alterations. Everything has always been perfect! She is lovely to deal with and her prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

Worst place to go. Don't waste your money because that's exactly what you will do. They charged me $40 just to cancel because it was going to cost $270.which was twice amount of the dress. When I asked to use the $40 towards just part of the dress, they said it's not possible. They litterly stole money from me. Find another place to go. Trust me. They deserve zero stars but apparently I'm forced to give them one.

I’ve been going to Sara at Brentwood for years now. Super friendly and kind, great costumer service. Sara and her team know what they’re doing. Whether it’s hemming a pair of pants, getting outfits steamed, or altering a dress, they always get the job done right!

I went there after work, when the mall was about to close in half an hour, but they were very helpful and tailor my pants without 10 mins so I don't have to go again and pick them up. Amazing speed and work!

They were able to switch together my pants in a few minutes at a very reasonable cost and delivered all I had asked for. Would definitely go there any again in the future.

Both my parents were tailors so I am confident I know what to look for in this type of business. The work done here is completely professional and of a very high standard. From ball gowns to suits, our best clothing has gone through here to repair or adjust. Quick turnaround time too.

1. I bought a rain jacket from Eddie Bauer that had a plastic zipper that broke after only 5 months of use. Instant Tailoring installed a new zipper of superior quality that has worked flawlessly ever since.
2. I bought a canvas sport coat from Orvis some 20 years ago. Since that time I lost considerable weight, some 50 lbs. Instant Tailoring did an excellent job in modifying the coat to fit my new body shape.
3. The length of two pairs of Levis' pants were shortened by 2 inches. You can't tell the new stitching from the original.
4. Lastly, I just got back my beloved Woolrich outdoor vest, light weight canvas on the outside and wool on the inside. The 25 year old vest was showing it's age from the worn trim and the worn out pockets. When I picked it up earlier this week my jaw dropped in amazement at what a great job Instant Tailoring did in restoring it.

They were absolutely amazing! I had a very short time frame and a lot of alterations on a very detailed dress and they nailed every part of it. She even built me a corset back that was stunning and made the dress fit so perfectly. I can’t thank them enough for how beautiful of a job they did.

I needed repairs to sports equipment, other tailors said they couldn’t do it but Sara came up with a solution and did it that day! She did a great job!

Fantastic service, 100% recommended! I brought ski pants and a down jacket for zipper repairs. Several options and prices were provided for the zippers, which I appreciate. They also found a hole in one of the jacket pockets and fixed it. Eyes closed, I'd use their services again.

This place is amazing. I needed an emergency alteration to a suit jacket for an event the next day, and although Sarah was busy and originally said she would have it done in two days, she was able to have it ready in the same day. She was very friendly and helpful, and the quality of the tailoring is fantastic too; I couldn't ask for anything better.

Their prices are insane I just spent $58 to get my dress hemmed and another 20 on top of that to close a slit a little bit! And then when I was looking my dress over there were some pulls and it wasn’t done perfectly and when I mentioned something about it they were defensive but I feel like I have every right after I just spent $80 to get my dress hemmed

They don’t even have a price chart for you to look at so I feel like they just make up the prices

Sara is the only tailor I trust to alter my garments. She is super detail-oriented and doesn’t take shortcuts. She handles all of my pieces with extreme care and they always turn out better than I could have expected.

They did a pant hem. Very bad service. Pant hem on 1 leg was crooked and they tried to tell me that I was wrong. One leg was shorter than the other. Do not recommend them. Wish I could take a picture to show the viewers of the shoddy work they did.

In response to your rude reply Instant Tailoring. I stand with everything that I said because I speak the truth. I put the pants on the the table and one pant leg the hem is crooked. If I could hem my own pants I would do a better job than you guys did. I obviously hit a nerve with you because I speak the truth and I know what I see. We love Sara! We always have a great experience whenever we go to her tailoring shop. She is very accommodating and friendly— but most of all, she and her team are very good. The shop is also conveniently located inside the mall, so after shopping, we can bring her stuff to perfectly fit us (if needed). We never had any issue with alteration in this place and that’s why we keep coming back.

I came for measuring my body for new uniform and brought my own form but got refused to use it since it takes long to read it and I had to use their own measure form.

She said her own measuring form almost all contains the body parts so it will work, and took around 3 or 4 minutes.anyway very quickly, but still at home I had to ask my partner to measure some of other parts that she didn't do for me.
I was thinking 20 dollars was not worth for this.

I accepted because I had to get it done in short period of time,
I wish when customer ask something specific, they try to meet their customer's needs.

I had a last second surprise when I found out a wedding I was invited to was in fact a Black Tie Formal event. I had to buy a jacket and trousers off the rack and have the alterations done ASAP. Instant tailoring was recommended to me by a close family friend, who specialised in tailoring for over 30 years. As she was retired, she said Sarah is the only good tailor left in the area if I needed to get alternations- and I’m really glad I gave her recommendation a try.
I frequently shop for fashionable clothing, and need very specific (and at times, drastic) alterations for most of my purchases. Sarah, with her extensive years working for designers; is able to not only do the alternations meticulously, but also works closely with me as a type of "consultant" in re-designing the way an item fits; so that it’s specifically tailored to my style and body perfectly. I admire that she is honest and direct, if she feels the ideas I present to her will not look good or work with the type of fabric we have. I also like that she doesn’t try to trick you into doing alternations for the sake of her making money- often she says there’s no reason to do x, when y works perfect and is more affordable. I very much enjoy having her as my tailor, and since we've met; I have been able to develop the best wardrobe I've ever had!

I’ve been coming to this trailer for years and the detail in care put in the process of tailoring is amazing how these pair of carhartt pants and they were in terrible condition holes and everything and first they added years onto these pants so I could wear them without worrying and the personalization I wanted to do to these pants I envisioned it and they implemented it and they did it how I exactly wanted and they are my favourite pants now.

Always a job well done here, have had a couple quite expensive things fixed and repaired without any issue at all. Will be returning regularly! Its important to support local small businesses, especially ones that do a good job.

After reading so many good reviews, I decided to take the risk and visit Sara to make some alterations to my dress. From the start, she was welcoming, honest, and very helpful.

I had alot of things to be done but my dress was ready in two weeks and it came out better than I had even imagined.

I am very particular person but she managed to melt my heart because my dress looks brand new n fits me like a glove now.

My wedding planner friend suggested that I get the dress I love, even if it's not quite right, because if I find the right seamstress, she can work wonders. So I found a beautiful dress on sample sale, but it had sleeves I didn't want and it was over a size too big. A fellow bride recommended Sara at Instant Tailoring, so I called Sara while many tailors were still closed because of COVID-19 lockdowns. She was so responsive and even said she would be able to get my dress altered within a week! So as a busy professional who didn't leave much time for dress alteration, this was amazing.

Sara clearly has a lot of experience and she is very talented. She designs and makes her own wedding dresses, so she gave me expert advice on how to alter the dress in ways I wouldn't have thought of so it would look perfect.

Now I have exactly the wedding dress I want, and it was so quick, too! I asked Sara for some minor adjustments at the end, and she completed those free of charge as well. When I looked carefully at her work, there was no way to tell that the dress was significantly altered from the original. Sara made me feel very valued as a first-time customer and I'll definitely be going back next time I need more tailoring done. I have been seeing Sara at Instant Tailoring for years. Her ability to take something and completely transform it is unbelievable. I have brought her dresses that are too big, my dance costumes that need to be completely altered, a bridesmaid dress to be hemmed and most recently my wedding dress. So glad I decided to do my bridal dress alterations here. I wasn't sure if they were open during the lockdown, but Sara was super prompt in answering my inquiry and any of the questions I had. She was very sweet and even made a last minute adjustment to accommodate the fact that the heels I got were half an inch shorter than I thought. The dress was ready within a week, which I wasn't expecting, but it was a pleasant surprise. Tried on the dress in their fitting room and it fit perfectly; I had the straps adjusted and the dress hemmed. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for someone to do your alterations!

Right from the beginning when I phoned I had received great customer service. I explained that I had a sweater another tailor had worked on that I was unhappy with the work, and if anything could be done to fix it. She gave me a couple different options on how the sweater could be fixed and realistically what could and could not be done.

I am EXTREMELY happy with the work that was done! It’s back to looking amazing! I am so HAPPY!
