Did not get my piercings done here, got them done in Toronto. I had a concern about one of them and came in to have one of the piercers take a look at it for me, he was extremely professional and educated me on my piercing and how to ensure it doesn't get infected.

I had such a great experience this time that I came back about a week later when one of the screw-on balls off my barbell piercing had fallen off and I was hoping to get it replaced or purchase new jewelry. The same piercer helped me to find an extra part that fit with my piercing. I highly highly recommend Instinct to anyone who is looking at purchasing jewelry or getting a piercing.

Shanda was my piercer, 10 on 10 would recommend her, helped with breathing technique while piercing, have to say didn't feel any discomfort, was done in seconds.

I loved this place went in with a friend to get his piercings and when I showed interest in getting some myself the lady's working immediately showed Me some amazing pieces and even showed me the best way to do them financially

This is a super cool piercing studio! The staff were helpful, friendly, and kind. It was my first time at a piercing studio here in Kamloops, I came in for a jewelry change. They have an amazing selection of high quality jewelry among other items in the shop. I was impressed with their sanitation procedures, I felt very comfortable. Had a group birthday for 4, and we all got a piercing each. The staff was amazing! Very helpful and cheery in the face of our overwhelming excitement. Did not feel like a burden with our inexperience and lack of knowledge.

I always have a great experience at instinct. Ken did my last two piercings. Everything is immaculate and clean, many glove changes, and after care follow up is fantastic as well. No better place in town to go!

Instinct is a clothing, jewelry, peircing place all in one! It is where I have received all of my peircings, the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
I was so afraid of getting my ears peirced when I was younger, the staff reassured me I have nothing to worry about getting the piercing and I had no issue with it after getting peirced!

We took our son there for his ear piercing, for his 9th birthday. They are all so friendly & professional in the shop. They are very thorough on explaining the procedure, sanitization steps, after care etc. They make sure it is what you (kid) actually wants to do, & had him fill out most of the paperwork!

I only go to instinct and refuse to go anywhere else. I recently moved to Winnipeg and I waited until I came back to Kamloops to get a new piercing!:) their procedures are done fabulously and throughly. They make sure you get to see the cleaning process. They also make you verify that you are have a clean procedure done. They don’t miss any information and if you happen to forget anything they had said, they send you home with pamphlets that go through all of the same information they had talked to you about on the day of your piercing. Thank you guys so much! I hope to come back soon and get a new piercing:)!

They do good piercings and love the other shop in the back bought my daughter a beautiful black dress.

The staff there are fantastic. The shop was busy and running a little behind but they made sure I knew I wasn't forgotten. My piercer was friendly and sweet.

One of the cleanest venues I've been to with a very professional friendly staff. I got my labret pierced and it was done with all the safety precautions in place and then some. I was given aftercare information which I followed and my piercing is healing up nicely.

Had a daith piercing done by Theo on this past weekend. It was an incredible experience. Guiding me through. Very calm and present and honoring the experience.
I am overjoyed with my time spent and the piercing looks amazing.

Really awesome experience. I got my nostril pierced here and the staff were so friendly from the moment i walked in to the moment i walked out. I wasnt entirely sure on where i wanted the placement to be but my piercer was sooo patient and sooo helpful in helping me make sure i get it in a spot that suits me the most.
I would go bavk 100%.
The only twist is that it was quite pricey.i just didnt go in there expecting it to cost over $100.
But overall, great place to go get dazzled up!

I lost the ball to one of my piercings last night. I panicked because it wasn't healed yet so I just put a rubber earring back on it. I came in here and they were able to give me a new ball and he didn't charge me anything for it! I was so surprised and thankful! Will absolutely be coming here the next time I need jewelry or for my next piercing:) thank you so so much!

I have gotten pierced 10 times at Instinct and they have always gone above and beyond for me. The piercers are incredibly professional, but they strike a perfect balance and also make the experience fun and comfortable. I am also fairly untalented at getting my jewelry out, and I have had several MRIs recently which require that you wear no jewelry. The piercers have always been so helpful at removing the jewelry for me and they are so kind about the process. I truly love the atmosphere and the people who work here so, so much and I cannot recommend them enough. As a side, I have felt so comfortable coming here during COVID and they follow such strict measures to ensure the greatest possible level of safety for their customers.

I just recently moved to kamloops and needed a new piercing place to go because my industrial bar fell out on a camping trip and i needed to purchase a new one and get it put it. The one lady who was helping me told me it was going to be around $50 for both, the jewelry and application. (keep in mind i wasn't getting it pierced i just simply needed help putting in the bar. She said the jewelry was around $25 which meant i was going to be paying around $25 for the application, (when the sign in the store said it was only $10 to change your jewelry) but i needed it done so i was willing to pay the $50. Then she said i was next up in line to get the jewelry in and to just wait, so i did. I was standing there for around 10-15 minutes until a different worker came and asked if i had been helped and told me that the previous lady wasn't there, so she helped me instead. This worker was very sweet and helpful and the only good thing about my visit. I then went to the till to pay, where the first worker then randomly re appeared and waited for me to pay, even though she didn't help and left without telling anyone. Then i ended up paying $80 when she told me it would be $50 so i asked for a receipt because i was confused about the pricing, but the receipt didn't tell me the prices for anything. I had a horrible experience and feel like i got ripped off and it definitely wasn't worth my money. I will not be returning and hope to find a better studio for my future piercing needs.

Even when they're not open, Instinct still manages to offer the best customer service!

I have been visiting Instinct since I was 16 for piercings. Last week, I ended up with some troubles with one of my studs in my nose. I sent a Facebook message for some at home remedies since I can't currently go into the shop. Not only was the response incredibly fast, they offered to mail me some product to help clear things up. AMAZING!

Thank you guys for continuing to provide incredible customer service, even in a time of crisis. Can't wait for things to be back to normal and to come in for another addition!:)

When I booked the appointment I did so over the phone, the lady helping me was very nice and I immediately felt like a valued customer. When I arrived all of the staff was pleasant and happy to see that I had a safe trip from where I was travelling from! The piercing itself (septum) went pretty well, everything was very clean and the guy who did the piercing made sure to take his time to explain everything he was doing and why. I was even given a complimentary juice box before the piercing, which I found really nice. It was a calm, relaxing and also professional environment. I love the vibe of the shop. The staff took the time to even explain after care, and they gave me copies of all the paperwork to bring home with me. Overall amazing experience:) Will go back for future piercings, its worth the 3 hour drive it took to get there!
