First of all it's InsureBC.yeah!
The on- line process was amazingly easy and straight forward. I wanted Event insurance for one day. The brokers I regularly use did not carry event insurance, and fortunately one of them pointed me to InsureBC.
I had a question prior to starting the process and received an answer the next day.from a real person.
As I was filling out the form, I had another question, and received an answer the next day again, and by a real person. I proceeded with filling out the form, with no difficulty at all, and the following day had received my document package.
I'm very cautious about purchasing this sort of thing on line, but because my queries were answered right away and by very pleasant and knowledgeable people, I felt very comfortable.
I give them 5 stars. One of the best on- line purchasing experiences of this nature that I've ever had.
I thank them for answering my questions personally and quickly, and not by some cryptic automated system, or with a string of other numbers I should call for an answer.

She walked me through the process to top up my Earthquake Strata Deductible which was not at the level, I required, with my existing insurance coverage. I signed up through Amir Foradi. He is knowledgable, trustworthy, and an adept and prompt communicator. So far so good.

InsureBC charged me a "subscription" a few days before I moved out and refused to refund me for the portion of the fees that covered me after my lease had ended. They were really inconsiderate and unwilling to compromise. Now imagine you have to deal with them over a major claim. I recommend Vancity or The Cooperators or another local insurance provider that has more of a customer focus.

I received my renewal papers from my previous insurance provider and after reading the 57 pages of he policy I thought to myself that there has to be a better way to purchase home insurance. Not only was was policy from Insure BC easier to understand (and it was only 4 pages long!) I also managed to save over $150 for the year! My only complaint is that although the site says that it does accept debit mastercard I was not able to get my payment processed and had to use a regular mastercard instead.

I cant believe I'm saying this, but InsureBC made buying home insurance a painless experience (prior to this experience, buying insurance has typically been painful experience). The easy to use website for quoting and paying for a new policy was easy to navigate (less than 20 minutes from start to finish, and I could do it on my own time!). A special thanks goes out to Catherine @ InsureBC for her excellent customer service and reviewing my policy after completing it on the website. I would definitely recommend InsureBC to my friends and family.
