Reception: walking into the space, you see a large Buddha statue mixed with pleasant wallpaper, lighting etc. It’s quite nice. However, reception, every time I’m there and despite the person, is never really a welcoming experience. Each person I’ve interacted with at front has in essence, treated me as an unlucky number.
For example, when I wasn’t given a reminder of a rescheduled appt they still charged me a no-show fee. Also, I have my CC on file which is mandatory, but like to pay with my debit. Every time they give me grief and I don’t think I’ve seen them smile once. They also didn’t print off half of the sheets they were supposed to print for me that the naturopath had requested.

Naturopath:
I was seeing dr Kuzma for awhile and loved her. Since she left, I’ve been seeing Dr Green for a short time and in a couple months, she’s managed to recommend a path for me that has basically changed my health in ways I didn’t really think were possible, at least in short time. She is always friendly and efficient and seems to really care about her patients. She also has a great sense of humour:).
Treatment wise relating to my past: for example, my qualified GP’s treatment of me had little difference in my chronic insomnia and weight gain in the last 6 years, whereas within a couple weeks here, I have started feeling more confident, getting more sleep, and lost some stubborn fat, as well as reduced some anxiety. I’m hoping to continue on this path!

I had the pleasure of receiving both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Naturopathic care for many years from Dr. Lawrence Chan and Dr. Karen Lam at Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre. Although it took me some time to write this review, I'm thrilled to finally share my experience.

Upon entering the clinic, I immediately felt at ease and welcomed. Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Lam took the time to attentively listen to my concerns and understand my health history, which instilled confidence in their expertise. Their gentle yet effective treatments, including acupuncture and chiropractic care, were customized to my specific needs, and I noticed significant improvements in my overall health and well-being after just a few visits.

One of the most admirable qualities of Dr. Chan and Dr. Lam is their extensive knowledge and willingness to explain the details of their treatments. They take a holistic approach to health and wellness, and their passion for their work truly shines through in every interaction.

I highly recommend Dr. Lawrence Chan and Dr. Karen Lam to anyone seeking exceptional TCM and Naturopathic care. I have been seeing Dr. Katie Leah at Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre for a number of years now. The setting is serene and the staff are friendly.

Dr. Katie Leah is absolutely amazing as a doctor and as a person. She is incredibly caring and kind and has made a huge impact on my life. I have dealt with awful migraines, TMJ pain, skin issues and very bad tinnitus for years. She has helped me so much with this I can't thank her enough!

I love this clinic so much. Dr Leah is an incredible naturopath. She has changed my life for the better with her treatments for my health and wellness. You won’t regret visiting here!

I booked an appointment with this clinic for naturopathic treatment with Dr. Chan based from all the good reviews - I got an appointment two months later than when I called, but I was okay with it due to covid-19 and all the medical processes taking time.

However, a week before my scheduled appointment, I received a call and was charged for $50 for a missed appointment! I still have the email, and a voice message on my phone stating the original time that I had booked in advance two months ago. My partner was shocked too since he was there when I called the office to book the appointment originally and remembers it being scheduled not at the time the office charged me for.

The appointment they "claimed I booked" was on a day I was scheduled to be away from Vancouver, so I would have never booked that time - their receptionist wrongly scheduled me for an appointment in their system and then charged me for their error.

No where on their website does it state that you will be charged $50 for "missed appointments" i.e. Scheduling errors by Integrative's staff.

Terrible service and a disorganized reception that resulted in hidden fees for an error on their part. Stay away and go with a naturopathic office that knows how to use a calendar.

I've had the pleasure of seeing almost all the practitioners at this office over the years, and each one has helped me tremendously in many different ways. Most recently I've worked with Dr. Lawren Chan, who is absolutely brilliant in her work. Every interaction has been incredibly therapeutic from both physical and mental/emotional standpoints. Her expertise in acupuncture and adjustments always leaves my body feeling more healthy and aligned. She listens attentively without judgement, and creates a wonderful healing space where I always feel well supported. Her extensive knowledge about the human body and natural medicines has helped facilitate my health and wellness on many occasions.

Worst place on planet they are just making money i am going their from past 5 months been to different doctors dr jam caleda this is worst person i have ever seen in my life he will on purpose try to injure you and give you injection that does not even make sense at my first visit he without any reason was saying i had injury so that save your self dont see him if any one want to know more about this doc let me know email me save urself

I have been having a lot of health issues for the past few years that doctors at regular medical clinics never bothered to look into. I came here and the doctor showed so much empathy and looked into every concern and found what was causing them. I even feel like my doctor helps me mentally as well as physically because she is so calming and encouraging. I finally had my health issuing validated and helped - I am so grateful.

Spent over $400 in two visits to find out that I had a sensitivity to peanuts, which I already knew. They’ll recommend that you start taking certain supplements that they conveniently offer in their in-house pharmacy at ridiculously high prices. $90 for a vitamin c spray and Livton (liver supplement). The Doctor employed the method of “muscle response testing”where various supplements were placed on my chest while laying horizontal with the aim of determining, based on my bodies response to being in close proximity to the specific supplement, what my body needed. I’m a pretty open-minded person but she was literally pulling my leg. In short it felt very hoaxy.

I’ve been coming to INMC since 1983 when I first moved to Vancouver. Dr. Lawrence Chan has never failed me. I’ve had the opportunity to experience the care of the lab and some of the other practitioners, and in my opinion they are all 5 Star!

I highly recommend Dr. Lawren Chan. She brought me from the cusp of an endocrine disorder back to a healthy state, and has been working with me to address other long standing health concerns.

She's an incredibly gifted professional, and is the first natural health care practicioner I can enthusiastically recommend.

I would not recommend this medical centre. I arrived with a variety of chronic symptoms and was hopeful after the first appointment with the doctor, but was quickly discouraged after the "biomeridian diagnostic testing" for food sensitivities that followed with over $100 in prescribed supplements. The food sensitivity test itself is not supported by real science. I follow a vegan diet and made clear that I needed to see a practitioner that was supportive and knowledgeable of a plant-based lifestyle. Even though I was skeptical after the testing, I decided to agree to the plan, which was really just a bunch of printouts that seem routine for each patient, and agreed to the supplements. After taking one of the supplements for over 30 days, I finally did some research on my own and found out that it contains ox bile. Ox bile is clearly animal derived. I am disappointed and untrusting of their practices and knowledge. Integrative Naturopathic Centre is a money sucking machine and does not provide the much needed patient-centered services it claims to.

Didn't even get to make an appointment. The office staff was so rude and wouldn't book over the phone because "that's what online booking is for"

I have been seeing Dr. Lawren Chan and i have nothing but good things to say about her. My impressions: Amazing Personality, very confident, caring, very easy to talk to about any health concern i had, very good listener, calm and affectionate. She gave me lots of comfort, mentally as well as physically. She doesn't give you extra stuff, in fact she saved me lots of money by cutting all the unnecessary stuff given to me by other naturopaths. She is knowledgeable, not only a naturopath but also a chiropractor as well and acupuncture + some kind of healing power. My one stop Dr.really:) LOVE HER.

Dr. Steve Inaba is the best of the best. If you are searching for an incredible Rolfing experience, search no more. You will be amazed how your body uniquely responds to his treatment. I have been telling everyone about him and you will want to do the same!

I have not made as much progress in my entire health journey as I have with Integrative in a matter of months! It’s so beneficial having an experienced team all under one roof.

Dr. Leah has helped me tremendously with my various health issues over the years that I have been seeing her. Not one time that she rushed the appointment, and in many cases, she spent adequate time listening to my concerns and explaining to me the how's and why's of my problems. Dr. Leah is a very caring, attentive and knowledgeable doctor. I am very glad to have found her.

Coming to the clinic is always a pleasant experience as well. The front counter staff are very nice, helpful and professional. They always greet you with a smile the minute you walk in.

I've been seeing Dr. Alex Chan for about 3 months now, and it's been wonderful! I started seeing Alex for a very bad skin flare-up (my face, especially my eyes, were swollen for 3 months straight) and she cleared 80% of it up within the first month. She's very thorough, spends the necessary time with you, and plans your treatments specifically to what your body needs and towards your wellness goals. In one session, treatments can range from acupuncture to chiropractic to bio-meridian food sensitivity testing to this leg-lifting thing she does (to figure out what supplements work best with your problems; it sounds silly but it works!). Albeit their prices are higher than some other Naturopathic clinics and in comparison to seeing a regular MD, it's worth the price if you want to be in good health and do it the holistic way! Recently started seeing Dr. Karen Lam as well for acupuncture - she knows what she's doing and does it well.

I had some serious ailments that no medical doctor can help. I went to see Dr. Posen and he was able to diagnose the problem. Dr. Posen saved my life on numerous occasions.

Dr Hal Brown is very knowledgeable and kind. He is ethical in his practice. I had many health conditions and he was able to address them within those visits (one very serious condition my GP couldn't bother to test for). He is also one of the few doctors qualified to perform neuro and prolotherapy for chronic nerve pain. I have been seeing chiropractors, Acupuncturists, RMTs, Physiatrists, for years and he has been able to give me pain relief in 4 visits. I highly recommend him. He is just fabulous.

I have been a client of Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre since 1995. My practitioner Dr. Hal Brown has been one of the most important factors in the maintenance of my health, as a naturopath, chiropractor, educator and friend. It's impossible for me to stress how much he has contributed to both my, and my wife's life and health. Not sure where we'd be without Hal and his extraordinary breadth of knowledge and insight. When anyone asks me for a recommendation I say, go see Hal, he's legendary and the best!

If you are looking for responsible and respectful care that looks at the whole picture of a person and addresses causes not just treats symptoms this may be the place for you as it has been for me.

From the first visit Dr Hal Brown got to work doing adjustments and various assessments some of which made an immediate difference, others would take time with treatment. But positive changes happened. This was not only in my opinion, but other healthcare providers, family and friends were noticing too.

Dr Brown's combination of training, skills and experience brought refreshing insight to my medical care. All the ways I had envisioned medical care would be when I needed it were found here in one place streamlining many appointments to one clinic where other practitioners also became involved in various specialized capacities to assist Dr Brown.

When it is remembered that a patient is a person who has to figure out how to live despite residual effects of injury and illness there is a foundation of respect, hope and trust to build on.

I feel fortunate to have found Dr Hal Brown, Dr Alex Chan, Dr Katie Leah and nutritionist Keyrsten McEwan who have all made a positive difference to my health and therefore my life. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

My one wish is that medicare dollars could be spent on types of care at the discretion of the patient for what is a fit for them as mine would surely be spent here. Until then I willingly and appreciatively pay out of my own pocket for that which actually works and makes a difference.

I have been going to Integrative Naturopathic Medical Center for a long time, to improve my diet, energy and general well being, and I have always been very satisfied with the services I've received. They are caring, and I trust their approach to wellness.

The front counter staff are always pleasent and it is always a nice surprise that they call me by name when I arrive. Nicola is always ready for me and is never a disappointment. I always look forward to my visits.
