Some good ppl work here but as an organization, we citizens deserve a clean sweep of management.

Dear IHA,

Kamloops Community Home support is always short staff because most care aids don’t want to pick shift anymore due high gas price, underpaid, risky and some of them don’t like the present management. If your intention is to help vulnerable individuals. Why don’t you send LPNs to see and help some clients. You are just paying them to stay in the office most of the time, pretending they are busy in front of desktop most especially the newly ones.

If you're looking for employment, depending on what environment you enjoy working in, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Poor management (Micro management specialist), very hard to advance due to seniority issues. Vacations are a joke. Work here if you're only about receiving a measly pay check, because doing what's right for our clients is constantly shown as NOT a concern of IHA.

If I could give 0 stars I would. {OAT Clinic} The place is a scam, the staff are getting kickbacks for making people addicted to suboxone. If you ever get called to go there be ready to have your life disrupted. They pretend to be friendly and understanding but they are anything but. Use your head and don't let them get you hooked on suboxone, it has too many adverse side effects opposed to the Percosets that I have been taking for over 20 years. They are Doctators not doctors, they don't give a care about you they only want their kickbacks. Unfortunately the health care system is doomed.

If I could give zero stars I would! Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't interior health supposed to help people? Is that NOT THEIR JOB? I 100% understand "disclosure" rules etc but when the wife calls because spouse is out of service range and often works out of town, to have an urgent matter tended to, and they won't because there's no written consent! Written consent for what? I'm not asking for information, I'm trying to get him help because he can't call! Not everyone there is terrible but the one receptionist is definitely in the wrong profession! She's downright RUDE. I have been able to book appointments, have prescriptions renewed etc in the past without issue. I think you need to do some employee evaluations.

This health authority has been working very hard in this Covid-19 time. Covid testing and vaccines have been stretching their time to deal with other matters. The employees have been doing the best they can to keep up to provincial orders. I think they have been doing a great job, under the circumstances. I've dealt with them many times, non covid related, and they have always been helpful.

The people here are friendly and great to work with who understand what and addict goes through and helps overcome those obsticals one has with their addiction.
So glad I chose to go here for treatment to get clean off of the dope

I can't even get anyone to answer the phone! Don't these people work? Just rings and rings until it goes into a busy signal. This is unacceptable.
