The staff were all very helpful and friendly. First thing from arriving at the check in point staff greeted my partner and I and were very nice. We had such a fun time in the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guides were great! They were very easy going and answered everyone’s questions. We got to swim in the water and jump off a cliff which was super fun. If you’re feeling adventurous this is a great opportunity your should take advantage of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are so glad we got to spend the day on the rapids!

Laura and Travis provided a very nice trip for us! Good and secure guidance, interesting (nature) facts and stories, and great (very clear) water with nice rapids! Definitely would recommend.

I had the wonderful experience taking the Ready! Set! Go! Adventure on the rapids. I am a complete novice, but I felt completely safe and in good hands. The guides gave clear safety direction both on the pre-trip briefing and again just prior to starting the trip. Safety equipment (life jackets and helmets) is provided and the guides go over the rafting basics, such as rowing commands and directions, what to do if you fall overboard, and they talk you through each step of the trip. YOU WILL HAVE FUN! I can't stress this enough. If you've never done rafting or boating, but you want to try it, Interior Whitewater Expeditions is the place to go.

Grace and Noah, our guides were fantastic. Great way to experience the river altogether with our family, thrilling waves and at times a serene ride to enjoy the beautiful view of Clearwater. It was interesting to see the granite and to hear Grace’s explanation of the land formation around us. We saw an osprey and a bald eagle on our way back down.

It was amazing! There was a good atmosphere, the people where really nice and the instructors gave a safe and good environnement (we had Tom, Olly and another person). It was very active! We could swim in the rivers, there where big waves and it was a blast. I highly recomend for anybody in the area with some time and a pair of swimming clothes (you get a wetsuit and splash jacket there) :)

We booked the Ready-Set-Go Rafting Trip. Noah and the team looked after us perfectly. We were able to swim in the river which was quite warm compared to many other rivers. The trip includes a Class 4 section and otherwise 3s and 2s. It was a lot of fun

The rafting was great fun. Our guide Noah was skilled and very knowledgeable. The hike along the cliffs to see the falls was beautiful. Ended with a much needed swim in the river. The water was so nice and the views from the river are something you don’t really want to pass up. If you get a chance to go then I highly recommend!

IWE's "Ready Set Go" rafting tour was well worth the $ and made for a thrilling afternoon in the phenomenal natural setting. Our guide (Oliver) was thoughtful, skilled, fun, and safety-minded (all sorts of ages participated).

We want to go again sometime soon, and share that experience other friends.

What a Blast! First timers, we did the ready set go and we're not disappointed. Kyle and Thomas and Grace were a great team. The river was a refreshing temperature. Would definitely come back next year.

One of my best experiences in Canada! The river rafting tour was a complete success. The crew was young, very sympathetic and competent. I had a big smile during the whole tour and still afterwards. Thanks to Kyle, Tom and Grace for the amazing time!

A last minute decision to do a white water rafting excursion while visiting Clearwater before heading home tomorrow.
Called night before and Doug, the owner of ITE was very accommodating in booking me in for the morning Half-day (4hr) "ReadySetGo"
Rafting trip.
I have a tendency to get very cold, especially time of year now is a bit chillier. But wetsuit, fleece and splash cover took care of that.
Safety instructions and pre-briefing excellent.
Guides Ben and Eli super friendly, knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and passionate in what they do! Highly recommend ITE!
We rafted in class II-III waters.
Did a 20min hike as to skip a portion of class 5 waters.
A good safety call as our group in the raft was did not have the experience for that!
This is my 2nd white water rafting excursion. Last one 30 years ago, which was more "adventurous" as water was higher. (Early Summer)
Water level is low now so a bit different and more float than I expected.
Ben and Eli made it a very fun morning!
I will be back in the Spring, early summer to do it again when water levels are higher!

Great trip on the Clearwater River with a experienced and knowledgeable guide. Bonus cliff jump!

Our trip was the Ready Set Go trip. This trip was about 10 minutes driving, 30 minutes hiking, 3hr 20 minutes rafting and 100% fun! I had the biggest splashes with no work (because I am only 11 years old and I got to sit in the front of the raft without paddling). Then off we went! In a matter of moments, our entire group was soaked. Each time there was a difference in the waves, our guides chose the biggest and most fun waves. In the middle of the top half, there was a rock named the House in the middle of the river. This rock barely pokes out during high water, and it was about 25 feet from the surface now. Before I knew it, the top half was over.
Now we could see more hikers and fishers on the shore. After loading the boats back onto the towing platform, we hiked down to see the most dangerous rapids: class five, The Kettle. The water was frothing madly, and waves crashed against both shores. Even upon the large rock, I was scared. After a small break, we continued to the lower half.

The rapids were slightly calmer, and there were a lot of fun waves. After continuing for a while, there was an area where the water was calm and deep, so we were allowed to swim. I stuck close to the raft though, because the cold water was sort of slowing down my movements and I was afraid of not swimming fast enough. Also, when we were allowed to swim in a class 2 rapid, I decided not to take my chances and stay on the raft. When the raft approached an island with a cliff jump place called The Wall, only a few people from the other raft tried it. It seemed fun but I didn’t trust my legs to bring me far enough from the cliff to not hit my head, bruise my legs and fall into the water unconscious. There were houses on the hills now, so we assumed we were nearing the town of Clearwater. The guide told us about a pole used to measure the floods, but we didn’t see it. At the end, the three minute trip back to the building was filled with talking about all the fun.

Did a "Ready Set Go" whitewater trip with a small group of friends on Aug 21.great experience. Kyle was our guide and he was a ton of fun. He played along with all the characters on the raft and set up a couple hilarious situations. The entertainment value was as fun as the whitewater. The whole team at IWE was exceptional and I highly recommend them. The business owner was even kind enough to shuttle us back to our hotel when he found out we had a 30 min wait for a cab.

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our Full Day Rafting Trip with Mason, Shane, and Noah. We didn't know what to expect as this was our first time rafting, but did we ever have a blast! Our guide, Shane, seemed to know the river ridiculously well, allowing him to effortlessly answer all of our questions. Their skill and experience made running the rapids super smooth and immensely exciting (obviously this included the calculated runs over smooth exposed rocks that would spin the raft around and always catch us all a little bit off guard). We stopped at various places on the river for some activities including swimming and cliff jumping. They provided us with a good healthy lunch and even took the time to teach us how to scout some rapids. One of the many highlights of the day was when Mason began telling another story.you will have to go for yourself to discover what it was. Their good clean humour, was something for everyone to enjoy.

All in all, if you are looking for an outstanding rafting experience, IWE is your place to go.

Very fun half day ride! Jared and Mason (guides) were professional and knowledgeable of the area. Rapids were accessible to all experience levels. Candid action photos (for $15) were a very nice way to take the memory home! Will be recommending to any able bodied friends or family!

Absolutely amazing! The whole experience was first class from lunch to friendliness of our hosts, to the knowledge of the river, to the hike to Candle Creek Falls, to the cliff jumping, everything! Highly recommend, worth every penny!

Went on the full day rafting trip with IWE as my first white water rafting experience. I highly recommend any of their trips to anyone who is looking for thrills and continuous smiles:) the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all things outdoorsy! The lunch provided, at a beach stop, was very satisfying and I cant wait to come back to spend more time with these guys

We did the 4-hour outing with Maison, Tayla and Noah and it was fun, exciting, thrilling, at times peaceful, and always beautiful. What a great way to see nature and the river from a different perspective. The power of the river was in equal measures thrilling and a bit scary, but Maison was a great guide and inspired confidence. The photos were an awesome keepsake and capture the wide smiles of all the passengers; it looks like everyone had just a good of a time as we did.

What a great operation you’re running, absolutely first class! Shane, Kyle, and Noah were awesome, very informative about safety and super fun for our kids. Leanne was awesome booking us on the phone when we had some changes to make. Doug was super helpful putting my wife’s kind at ease about doing this with our kids. This was the highlight of my trip. In fact I was already planning doing it again before it was over. Not only is the trip itself an experience but every staff member exceeded my expectations. We just took three hours with Shane and Eli to "Catch a wave" on the Clearwater river in Wells Gray PP, BC. Our in experienced party of six included two nine year old boys and a couple of non swimmers. Thw trip was just perfect! Highly recommended.

Had a great time and wonderful experience in Clearwater. Staff were great with their instructions and safety guidelines. Enjoyed being in the water. Plenty of laughs with the other passengers and the guide. Worth the trip to explore the white water rafting and the beautiful scenery and experience. Looking forward to coming back!

WOW WOW WOW - The whole day rafting trip.with Jared as a guide, his knowledge and calmness made the experience so amazing. We felt safe, we felt excited and had the BEST DAY EVER! We felt like he read everyone on the raft and brought the experience up to our adventure level. He took the time to get to know each and every person on the raft, who knew he would convince us to jump off a cliff and swim in rapids. WE definitely will be back! EJ was amazing as well, again took the time to talk to all rafters even the ones that weren't on his raft. And Dave with a smile on his face, happily moved the bus around so it was ready for us, have lunch packed and ready (which was great).

Omg what can I say. Just finished our first rafting trip ever called catch a wave. Guides were Maison, Shane and Chris. Im always worried theres gonna be this awkward silence of weirdness but these guys were fantastic. Talked and joked the whole trip. Even with 3 little girls who were shy and semi uncertain. They were just unbelievably great with everyone. Seemed genuinely interested in not only the guiding but also the area, history and ecology. After this we're already planning next summers multi day adventure. These guys make the rafting what it is. I mean the river speaks for itself.and it is undeniably wild, beautiful and raw, but the guides keep you coming back for more. We were wet the whole trip. Even had a moment with the check in chick at the front desk afterward where we had an understanding of just how awesome the guides are. Thanks so much for making our little vacation unforgettable:) Maison sure knows how to floss:)

Jared was an amazing guide! A fun and exciting finale to our staycation! Such beauty in our own backyard. Jared is very serious about safety and made us feel very comfortable riding the rapids!

Did the 4 hour rafting trip. Just the right level of excitement: got splashed pretty well, but it was not scary at any point. Our guide, Luke, was excellent.

IWE completely spoiled us. We were celebrating our recent wedding and they gave our group a special deal, which was really nice to make this a reality for some people as a few of the group (we're mostly young folks getting started in life!) were on a budget. In addition, they surprised us with digital pictures after as a gift. This is above and beyond the great rapids, experienced guides, and professional service in booking and organizing the trip. They did excellent safety training, including getting everyone to jump in the river prior to rapids to prepare anyone for shock if anything happened (which I've never had done before). Double guide ropes (outside and inside the raft) and actual foot holds were extra assurance. Also appreciated the changes they made to accommodate less experienced swimmers or less adventurous members of our group, including putting them with specific guides and slightly more stable watercraft. They also gave us adventurous members a pretty sweet time:) The service, safety, awesome times, and good humor of Rosie, Nathan, Luke, Maddy, Shane, Ellen, and the company owners was awesome! Honestly wish John and I could give you 6/5!

We did the all day tour. It was amazing as my first time rafting they reassured us and made sure we had a blast while still getting the most of the whitewater and being thoroughly soaked and laughing. Will absolutely go again and highly recommend going if you've gone before or have never gone.

Amazing! Did the 4hr tour the first part was an intro after which we hiked and saw what a class 6 rapid was. Then the rafting fun resumed, and it was totally awesome! Back at base they have a change room with showers which was a nice touch.

Very professional but lots of fun! Second time rafting and was amazed how much time was spent on safety.thats a good thing! Can't wait to go again in 2021. Hope your still guiding Shane, you were a lot of fun and knowledgeable.

Went here for my bachelor party. They put up with our dumb jokes, and we're amazing guides. Very very knowledgeable about rafting, as well as the surrounding area. I have been on two other rafting excursions in the past, and this one was by far the best. The rapids were great and again, can't emphasize how great the guides were. Highly recommended!
