Covid lock down was really hard for me, as I know it was for many people too. Elspeth at Intrinsic Counselling & Art Therapy made the recovery journey enjoyable. I have participated in several of the group sessions and it was because of the playful and creative space Elspeth created. She makes Zoom calls fun (which we all know is hard to do!) I participated in "Self exploration through art" twice but each time I discovered more about myself. Each of these groups helped me through really challenging times - isolation, family member deployed etc. Elspeth fosters a safe space for people to express themselves with no judgement, pressure, or expectations. The structure of each program is clear and the instructions are easy to follow for everyone regardless of artistic levels.

I would highly recommend this Intrinsic Counselling & Art Therapy to anyone who is interested in art therapy. You might be hesitant about the idea of group therapy, but it was the best part. Seeing other people's interpretation of prompts versus your own is refreshing and enlightening - especially in a time where we have been so distant from others.
