I first visited in October after newly moving to BC and was told I would have no issues getting an eye exam and direct billing through Pacific Blue Cross would be able to cover both my eye exam and box of contacts.

Fast forward two months later, I receive a phone call out of the blue accusing me of not paying for my eye exam and telling me that it was rejected through Pacific Blue Cross. I ask her if she has my insurance on file and she says she doesn’t know but will check later. When I go onto my PBC app, the eye exam was successfully put through and paid for the date of visit in October, so I call back and explain this to be rudely told that they can’t find record of it. Thankfully a different and useful receptionist looked into
The matter and found that an invoice was never made nor filed for my initial eye exam. Needless to say after this complete hassle and how rude and incompetent she was, I will never be returning and recommend others find somewhere else to go as well.

Firstly, my eye exam was thorough and quick, really appreciated the doctor's attentiveness and efficiency. I felt well examined!:) secondly, my new prescriptions in frames arrived so quickly after being ordered. Frames looked great, and first time I put the glasses on, the new prescriptions were so much better than the 2 1/2 yr.old ones I was wearing. Was told that my lenses were crafted with the aid of AI, and I could 'see' the difference! Very high quality, the trifocals were seamless and excellent. In all, a wonderful experience with IRIS, once again!

No appointment is ever perfect, however, i arrived early
for my apt and they were able to see me. What did not go well, which is not your fault, i need glasses again.

The doctor was encouraging and helpful, explaining all the little things that mattered. I also enjoyed the experience of picking out frames. The associate was focused on the right frames for me, not the best sale for the store.

Hands down the very best customer service I have ever received. Brian and his staff worked a miracle to get replacement lenses for my grandsons
Difficult prescription …. And they did it in four days! The care & compassion that they had for the situation was heart warming. I think they saw just how happy my grandson was when he announced that he “could see better than he had in his entire life”. Thank you again, we will forever be customers.

Dr Law and the team at IRIS in Chilliwack all came together for me! The challenge to get correct lens was overwhelming but they did it! Great optometrist - diligent, patient & thorough! The 4 star rating versus 5 star is primarily due to the fact Dr A. Law our previous Optometrist had developed a real rapport with us, hopefully in time this will develop with the new Dr that is there now.

Brian the manager contacted me to repair the damage from my experience with the receptionist. He went above and beyond rectifying the situation. Hats off to him for correcting this. I’ll be back for exams again.

I have an issue with my eyes and was recommended to get a contact for my lt eye. I went to see if I could taught how to insert it. Found out it had to be ordered in and noone was available to teach me therr would be someone in the next week. I got a phone call that the lens was in and I was able to come in till the following week and they reassured me there would be someone there. Well I went in today and guess what no teacher and didn't know when there would be. Why not tell me that when they called? I'm going elsewhere.

My husband has been going to Iris's chain for nearly 20 years. He did try a few cheaper options over the years when money was tight but we always ended up back at Iris. When our kids where born we naturally took them to Iris and have been going to the Chilliwack location for 10 years. They have gone above and beyond for my kids and husband. Even when there have been issues, usually not their fault, they have taken exceptional care of us. Iris is a little pricier than the competition but the quality of frames, warranty and service is well worth it.

Went in to get Maui Jim sunglasses straightened. Service was quick and even new nose pads added. All no charge. Came out with like new glasses.

Great staff, very attentive and accommodating. There was an issue with glasses that I had ordered, and unfortunately I didn't end up getting them. However, the customer service here was excellent so I would still definitely recommend coming here.

Jan Peters is awesome with kids here. She coached and sat with our son while he tried out contacts for the first time. It was a struggle for him but she was so encouraging and patient with him.

The customer service was exceptional! I called 20mins before closing for a minor eye emergency and they were able to accommodate quickly and with a wonderful level of expertise, even though we had never been there before. Every step was easy and they saved hours of waiting in the ER! Thank you so much Iris! We will definitely continue to use Iris based on this experience.

My 9 year old daughter had her first ever eye exam and she was so worried it was going to be painful and/or scary. Kary took the time to sit with her and explain the process and even took cool pictures of her eyeballs while we waited for the doctor to call her in. Thumbs up for Iris Chilliwack and their super kind and patient staff. Thanks guys!

The staff was extremely friendly and super helpful and willing to answer tons of my questions. Their prices beat others in town for a contact lens sitting fee. The location is beautiful and spacious. I felt very well looked after there. I highly recommend this place.

My Silhouette frames needed repair urgently on Monday - I dropped it off and was told to collect on Tuesday afternoon due to being short staffed it had not been done - Brian the manager over heard the conversation and stepped right up to the plate immediately and did the repair himself and I collected them 45 min later this is not the first time he has helped me as he has come in early before the store opened - as I am a severe asthmatic and cannot wear a mask for any length of time - to enable the fitting of my new glasses.

Service goes over and beyond - "IRIS IS A KEEPER " will refer anyone requiring glasses to them as they will not be disappointed and I give them a five star rating!

My family has used IRIS for years. Each visit we’re treated with great care by the optometrist. Candace frequently goes above and beyond to ensure each appointment and purchase goes smooth. Candace is an asset to the team at IRIS.

A few months ago, having finally returned from Ecuador with it being an extensive 5 months past the departure date, I was in dire need of replacing my prescription lenses. Once having served the 2 week quarantine, I went in for an appointment and was serviced by a fine young lady Candice. She listened to my issue and concerns with my vision and lenses.
My job involves day or night driving and the issues with my vision needed resolving.
She went the extra mile, so to say, in customer service to help out my needs. Seeing as I was not able to return to Canada in my warranty period she was able to maintain it due to my lockdown and inability to get services to my lenses.
I am a very happy customer because of her service to me and the investment for healthy vision.
The entire staff is friendly and prior to this past visit, I have always had great service.
Candice tho, she really made me smile with her bright personality.
Iris is fortunate to have her amongst the team!

We've been going to this Iris store for 7 years now. The staff are wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My husband and I saw Dr. G. Jean for the first time and we both felt that Dr. Jean explained things to us very well. Candice helped me choose some new glasses and frames which I am very pleased with. Iris has an incredible staff at the Chilliwack location. After all these years we almost feel like family:) Keep up the great service:) :)

My recent eye exam with Dr. Jean was great. He and his staff were all very pleasant and professional. I was impressed that he took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions and make suggestions on how to maintain my eye health. Overall I was very happy and I'll be recommending him to friends and family.

Unbelievable service! They helped me fix my glasses which weren't even purchased from them and didn't charge me a dime. It took the lady about 30mins (it was a difficult fix) and she just kept on trying until they were as good as new. She even tightened the ear peices so they wont keep falling off during yoga anymore. I know where I will be going for my next pair of contacts or glasses!

I am calling to IRIS since morning 11am and it goes on voice message, i kept voice message with my phone number there is no call back.it is to book my Eye exam very disappointing just to book eye exam. Also on web I sent text to them but no response.

I was looking to get some new frames and contacts and 2 friends recommended Iris to me. I am SUPER glad I listened! I was able to book an eye exam, Dr. Jean was absolutely fantastic! He talked me through everything he was doing and also made recommendations in regards to my eye health. I have been wearing glasses/contacts for 25+ years and have never had that!

And then I got to work with Candice on finding new frames! I have never had a better customer service experience. Ever. I cannot speak highly enough of Candice. She was kind, supportive, and full of knowledge! She studied my face and prescription, we talked about what I was looking for, and I loved her first choice! Donna just took my ten year old Serengeti glasses (my favourite ever) and fixed them while I waited. I asked for the one of the lenses to be replaced as it had fallen out and I didn’t even notice I had no nose pieces. She replaced those as well all for nothing and in about ten minutes. Very friendly and helpful. I recommend supporting this local business. Ask for Donna and tell her Duane from Vancouver Island sent you.

I have never had so many laughs at an eye appointment! Candice was lovely and incredibly helpful at helping my small head get into the perfect frames! And with several laughs to boot. Dr. Law was awesome. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. So glad I chose Iris and recommend anyone to give them a try!

I am currently working from home due to COVID-19. My glasses broke and I cannot see computer without them. My spares out of date.my fault. Brian was able to investigate and find spare piece needed, grind it down and make it work. Brilliant! Thanks again Brian.

I contacted them via email to see if they could replace a lost nosepad on my glasses. They responded promptly saying the could. I dropped by and was quickly taken care of. Nice clean shop, prompt friendly service. Overall a great experience. Thanks!

I had the best service possible at Iris in Chilliwack! All the staff were so sweet and helpful. I had my ten month old with me who was very fussy and tired. One of the staff members held him while I was looking at glasses and put him to sleep!
Aswell as the team member Candice who helped me choose BOTH pairs of my glasses. Candice had gone out of her way to find the polarized sunglasses colour that I was looking for and to have them put onto the frames I wanted. She was AMAZING! I will forever continue to go to Iris for all my family needs
