Exceptional service from all the staffs. It was my first time at Iris. Went for an eye exam and Dr. Shafiq Jiwani did a great job explaining everything. He was very friendly and understanding. The optician Davida was so helpful and patient and helped us pick frames. She took time to show me different types and brands and ensured I am getting the best. Thanks again for the great service. Highly recommended.

I not only had a thoroughly eye exam and prescription renewal a few months ago which made a huge difference for me, you most recently fit me in within 30 min of calling worried about my eye being red! Dr Jasmin Rakhra was simply the best! She did a full exam of my eye and found the issue right away! I felt relieved as soon as I walked through the door! My eye within a day was 100% better! The lady who initially conducted my eye tests (sadly, I forget her name) was an absolute doll and such a friendly first impression. The optometrist, Dr. Davies, was kind and patient, and really helped explain to me what was going on with my eyes. And then working with the optician, Davida, was truly a gift. She was sweet, enthusiastic, patient, and it honestly felt like she finds joy in helping people find the perfect frames.

Couldn’t recommend more. 10/10 experience. Thank you all!

Very smooth customer service. Friendly staff, Dr Davies is a keeper. We travel all the way from Richmond to Langley to see him. The lesson here is: when you find something good, in this case, someone great at what they do, you don’t give them up.

The staff at Iris has always been so helpful and seamless with my visits. Not to mention super helpful with finding the right frame for my face. Being First Nations it can be tough at times with using my benefits but at Iris they have always made it so easy.

My experience with Iris was awesome. Dr Davies was great! And Sarah who helped us pick out frames and process our order was also very good. I highly recommend IRIS in Langley.

I have Always loved iris! Dr. Daniel Davies has been taking care of me and my family for close to 15 years. Not only is he super good at his job but he is very good at going above and beyond. His team always takes good care of everything that comes after the appointments as well. Very lovely team at iris.

I was referred by old eye doctor in North Vancouver.they are well versed in using Status Cards and MS disability using both methods of billing to make it affordable for us.

I started having a problem with one eye and called to make an appointment with Dr Jiwani, whom I have been seeing for many years. The office got me in very quickly and Dr Jiwani picked up a serious eye problem that needed a specialist. He went to work for me and got me into the retinal specialist in a week. Because of his care and concern, I did not lose my vision. I highly recommend him.

I get all of of my family eye needs at this location. Friendly and professional staff. I have always felt valued and appreciated. In particular, Lisa is the true definition of a great service provider.

Iris Walnut Grove has a great selection of glasses very friendly and helpful staff.
I am always impressed at the great customer service that comes along with getting my eyes checked and buying new glasses.

Went in for an adjustment. Greeted at the door like I had the plague. Still require masks. I asked why. “Because we are a health service store, we still require masks” …… there’s barely anyone in there! The lady straightened my glasses but made me feel like I was a problem in that store. Done with that place after 8+ years of buying stuff there.

I called for an appointment/call back from the lady in charge (Lisa) regarding a problem I have with my prescription lenses I purchased from another place knowing that she has the required expertise to correct the prescription and have the lenses replaced at her store.
I received a very rude and inappropriate text message from her in reply to my request reflecting the unprofessional attitude being used with the customers.

This Iris used to have the best friendly and helpful staff! Now, they are condescending, impatient, rude, patronizing and make you feel like you are putting them out! Like I was wasting their time! Never will I go back there! The Walnut Grove Iris, to be clear. So sad!

Oddest customer service experience I’ve ever experienced. I made an appointment to see about getting new frames and lenses. I had seen somewhere that Iris can take measurements of your face to see what frames look best. I didn’t know that was for a custom frame that is manufactured personally for you but that was fine. I was helped by Lisa “ she seemed nice, ” but then she started to explain the costs involved with lenses. My wife and I both had the feeling that we were being financially judged. I’ve never had a salesperson basically steer me away from spending money at their business. I fully expected that glasses aren’t cheap and you pay for quality and I was willing to pay but after the condescending attitude we were shown, I decided that I will go spend my money elsewhere.

I have always had the best optical experiences at Walnut Grove Iris. All the opticians have been courteous and helpful. Dr. Davies is my go to optometrist, he has always been thorough and professional. My prescriptions have always been perfect for my vision. The opticians are great at helping with the choice of frames, lens and coatings and making sure everything is perfect for me. Thank you Iris for looking after my eye health.

Do not go here for to buy your glasses. What a terrible experience I had today, without going into detail a sales member was pushy, condescending and just plain rude.seriously go anywhere else!

I had a very pleasant and great experience at IRIS (the Walnut Grove location in Langley). All the staff were very friendly and very welcoming when I arrived. I had an eye appointment booked with Dr. Kooner. I had not seen an Optometrist in over 20 years and was very nervous about getting my eyes checked. Dr. Kooner completed a thorough eye examination on me and was great when explaining what procedures she was completing and the yielding results. She was very professional in her approach and listened to all my concerns and provided me with great feedback and answers to all my questions. She was very approachable, caring, and knowledgeable. Our Family, Terry Kathy Kristina and Kory, have been longtime clients of Dr Davies. We love the staff. Lisa always has a friendly greeting and makes time to catch up with us. Both Lisa and Devida help us make choices using their knowledge of lenses and frames. The eye testing always seems to be improving.

Dr. Kooner was extremely skilled. She was kind, supportive, and informative about the exam process and results. I would highly recommend her! The associate was also extremely helpful and informative.

Client of Dr Jiwani since the mid 90’s. I have always had excellent service from him and the staff at Iris Walnut Grove. This last appointment I was introduced to Topology which is a new and innovative computer program that allows you to design your own frames to perfectly fit your face (regular glasses and sun glasses) there is a very large selection of styles and colours that u can mix and match ie frame one colour the arms another! Highly recommend the next time you need new glasses!

I had a great experience at Iris the walnut grove location in langley. All staff are friendly and welcoming. My go to optometrist is Dr. Kooner. She does thorough eye examinations explaining everything in great detail. She was very professional and listened to my concerns and provided me with good contact lenses that worked really well for me. She is very approchable, friendly and caring. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kooner at Iris for all of your eye care needs!

Always a fantastic experience at this location and my most recent trip was no exception. The staff goes above and beyond in terms of service and the focus is on helping the customer instead of making sales. Alyssa provided a friendly atmosphere and helped me choose a great new pair of glasses.

IRIS is an amazing company and they really do go above and beyond for their patients. I’ve had 3 family members that have had laser surgery at this location and every one of them have been absolutely thrilled with the results. Every single optometrist there has been super professional in all care, so any bad reviews on here could likely just be the result of a surly customer. I would also like to add that i personally have had Dr. Davies examine my eyes and I found him to be extremely approachable & friendly and did his job to all expectations. I have been going to IRIS for years for all my eyecare needs and would never go anywhere else at this point.

Worst experience ever. I've been here before for lasik and like all the staff that I had, until yesterday. Since the other doctor moved away I got Dr. Davies. He was extremely unprofessional chewing gum like a horse right in my face and he seemed very inexperienced. So much so that I asked the front desk if he was actually licensed. From the minute I walked in it was hostile. During my entire exam he kept saying he didn't know why I couldn't see and that it was probably all in my head! Excuse me? I'm positive I actually can't read the street signs. He was rude and didn't care at all. He was also very aggressive when checking (poking) my eyes and would flip through the options so fast I couldn't speak fast enough to tell him which was better. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
