May was my nail tech and she was really sweet, I got chrome nails done and they turned out really pretty!

I visit here today and may give me very nice service. I did my nail extension and I like it very much. Thank you so much may.

Danny and KC helped me. They were very nice and friendly. Owner was too rude and money minded.

The staff is so amazing and always so friendly with everyone, they make you feel very comfortable there, and they are baby friendly! They were so sweet to my daughter I just had a year ago! And a beautiful lady named May, she does absolutely wonderful nails, decent price and no delays!

I have very good experience and I like the nail extensions also because they are very good and brilliant

Very good service and fast service, opened the store 1.5 hours longer for us, good customer service, nails stay for 1+ months, leah is very good and quick at her job.

May is the best nail lady I have had in long time. I will only go to her. She listens to what I suggest and makes her professional opinion. Very kind and always nice to visit her.

I went there today for a gel Pedicure and May did an amazing job. I love how she gives 100% satisfaction to the client. I have no complaints at all. She helped me pick the color according to my preference and she made sure every little step performed is perfect. And also she seems very genuine and does not rush anything unnecessarily. Next time I would go, I would prefer it to get done from ‘May’ ️ Loved her work!

I had an excellent experience at Iris nail. I was welcome by all the technicians as I walked through the door. May did my nails and she did a fantastic job! The salon is very clean, well organized and bright. I will definitely be coming back!

I went here a few years ago on a Groupon and I’ve never gone back. I got a pedicure and she does not have a pedicure chair, no rinse your feet etc instead you put your feet in a basin (similar to a kitchen bowl) I paid more than $40 and I got something that I could have done on my own. So many salons in the Newton area don’t waste your time here.

We done our nails sunday, paint come off next day
When we went salon back and request them to refund half our money, they called police on us
We spent 75$, waste of money

Super friendly staff, amazing customer service. Went there with my family and got nails done for wedding. They did an amazing job I would 100% go back and will recommend it to my friends and family!

Communication can be a problem, they always talk in their own language and not in English. So you are always clueless what is going on
The aged lady with short hair is discourteous to the extent and don’t value the ideas given by the customer and colleagues. Hoping she was the boss and everyone obeys to her with no option left.
The lady who attended my daughter was really good and served to her best but the one assigned to me was in a rush to just finish of the work.
So decide with your instinct to go for or not to####

I had the Groupon and the ladies who did our nails were very professional. It is not a posh place but it was reasonable with the Groupon.

They are not good as per quality wise, first they are always in hurry to get next customer. I went there for my pedicure but not happy at all. Not done it properly. When I asked for it they said it’s good and start talking in their language without even answering the customer. Not gonna visit again.

I pay for shellac for nails but she regular nail polish which is off from my nail when I go home

Love this place. They do your nails really patiently. I always get my nails done by the manager because she’s the only one that does it properly. But for pedicures I don’t mind who does it.

I went there to get acrylic nails and they were done very bad, they broke really fast and then I went to get the ones that were left removed and the girl removing them was so bad I got so many cuts and my nails were breaking and even after I went to get them removed, when I came home I saw that the glue wasn’t even taken off it was still on and even now it’s still there this is the worst place ever never coming here again!

Average: quality, price, service.every visit is a little different. I like it when Helen does my nails. I’ve experienced the “bubbling” that others have mentioned. I’ve gone back. And they were able to fix it.

Their staff is very rude, poor customer service. I went to iris salon to get my nails done but i had very bad experience.

I bought a Groupon for this place to get a shellac manicure done. By far one of the very best salons in the area that pay so much attention to detail it’s ridiculous. I would highly recommend the nail tech “Pham” for your services. I’ve never been so happy and they did not use a machine to file down my real nails. I just don’t appreciate them communicating in their own language while pointing at my nails.makes me wonder what they’re saying.

I wrote this review after my nail experience that I was extremely happy with unfortunately two days after the nails started coming off and peeling (see picture 2). I called the salon and they said come back at 4 PM and will fix them this for you I arrived and after no one acknowledged me they took the walk-in that came after me to do her nails and later a lady came up to me and said what’s your problem? She told me she does not have time and I have to wait half an hour even though she’s the one that told me to come at 4pm? I am now sitting here waiting for them to fix my nails and the lady has raised her voice at me multiple times spoke to all the other employees in their own language and has been nothing but rude.

Took 2.5 hours to get a manicure for myself and a small child. The lady they had doing my daughters nails literally said she had no idea what she was doings. Come to find out she had never done one before. Someone had to come and wipe off all the polish and start from scratch! Then the lady I had I asked for a square shape and she kept filing my nails so thin they are now in a point. I asked her three times to please stop filing them like that. Then when she co tinier I asked the lady beside me if she could understand what I was saying because she wasn’t listening. I ho early thought maybe her English might not have been good. My nail polish then started to peel off the next day. I went back and asked if I could get a quick fix and she was nothing short of extremely rude and said I didn’t take care of my nails (it had been 12 hours) and I do do anything out of the ordinary. My nails were a very dark blue and she fixed the peeled area with a black polish.

The girl who was doing my nails rushed me quite a bit. I finished 20 minutes before my mom even though we started at the same time. However my nails turned out nice!

Absolutely awful service with the lady who was doing my removal. I asked her not to flick my nails off from the root because it was painful and to grind them off even though it would take longer. She got angry and started twisting my fingers and gripping/hurting me and yelling at me in her language because she didn't want to do what I asked. I cancelled my shellac and am so disgusted at how rude and unprofessional she was. Definitely not coming here again.

I went twice to their place. First time, I got my gel nails and I was flying back home.second day itself, one of my nails broke and 4-5 of them started bubbling. I couldn't even go back to them.

Second time me and my friend went, all of my nails and 5-6 of her`s bubbled up the third day. I felt very bad. Not going to this place anymore.

•My aunt got a regular pedicure with designs
•Her daughter daughter got a regular pedicure and designs

The service was very poor! WHY?

There charged the daughter full price when it was 15mins!
When we mentioned it they were yelling at me AND TOOK OFF $5

THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN A HUGE FIGHT BROKE OUT AMONGST THE STAFF. THEY STARTED YELLING BACK AND FORTH AND RUNNING UP TO EACH OTHERS FACES AND POINTING!

We were very uncomfortable at that point
And we paid and left.

Come here for shellac manicures and for that they do a good job. Only one time I wasn't satisfied with one of the employees and how fast she rushed it but every time I have had a shellac manicure here my nails still look amazing 3 weeks later. I would not come here for a pedicure as there is a young guy here who does them and he has no idea what he is doing.

I’ve been seeing Leah for over 10 years and even followed her from another shop. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing her work is and how much I love this place!

She rushed my nails so much as if she was mad i showed up while she was relaxing and tool all anger on my hands the matte didn’t even dry came off 4 hours later and my design came off with one hand wash dont go here honestly I wasted 70$

This was my first time here and it was the worst work I have ever had done. The gel didn't even completely cover my entire nail.there was space between my nail and the actual gel which got caught in my hair.horrible customer service

Terrible service and work. It was SO RUSHED she nicked my cuticle with the buffer drill, which started bleeding and she did absolutely nothing and ignored it.my nails were not smooth or well done at all. The owner was beyond rude.

Bad bad bad. I read reviews before going and even though quite a few of them were bad I thought I would give this place a chance. I had the manicure and shellac nail colour done, which looked awesome. They also gave me a hand massage and arm massage courtesy, which was really nice of them. Sadly I went to do laundry later in the day and three of nails colour fell right off as I was doing laundry. I went back and the redid those three nails and then the next day the one that had not been redone came off. Either it's inferior product of lack of knowledge and doing the nails improperly. I was not even able to pry off the ones that were redone so they just don't do them properly the first time. I didn't want to go back a third time hence me leaving this review. I gave two stars of account of the friendly staff and nice interior.

Bad bad place the worst service ever, very rude staff had nails on for a week and they started falling off they would not back their service.

If I could give zero stars I would! I got pastel purple acrylic nails and not even 2 weeks later the polish started turning black on my nails. I saw another review say the same thing. I do not recommend. The polishes seem to be old and moldy.

The staff is friendly, my nails was were good but not the best -my first experience was really good. This time I got a different technician and she cut me a few times when cleaning up my cuticles.

Terrible experience. Bad pedicure for me and my mom and sister. She cut my sisters foot. I will never come back here again.

This person named "Aliah" or something was doing my pedi and was going way to fast so i told her to please slow down because i was NOT relaxed at all.never coming back here again do not trust this place
