Hayley is my favourite barber I've ever had, and in truth the only one I've ever really committed to regularly. She pretty much nailed my hair first time and dials it in even more each time I see her. She's such a lovely person and I really sincerely look forward to my appointments with her (which is sooooo refreshing vs my experience with other barbers!).

Dropped in for the first time, and got a haircut from Josh. Had a great experience. Definitely felt like he cared about what I was looking for, and I walked out of there with exactly that. Easy conversation and chill atmosphere. Everyone in there seemed super friendly. For sure going back. I recommend checking this place out.

This place is great. I absolutely hate the experience of getting my hair cut, between pressure to say exactly the right thing or end up with a bad cut, and the uncomfortable forced small talk. It’s always a struggle for me.

Hung was awesome at making my time feel valued, and he really got what I wanted even though I couldn’t explain it well.

The shop is modern and stylish, it didn’t feel like it was trying to come off false or made up. Genuine and quality designed.

The team overall seemed like skilled and positive individuals, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Iron Lung is a dope barber shop! The #1 reason I come in? Hayley! Hayley is the best barber around, always giving me the best haircuts. I consistently receive compliments every time after my haircuts, and leave Hayley's chair feeling so damn good. Hayley is patient, attentive, and just a super rad human doing awesome haircuts!

Went for a haircut, the place is quite neat! The hairstylists are quite good with their craft. I didn't have much of a direction and my hairstylist guided me to a good haircut. She was not much of a conversationalist, I almost dozed off mid haircut, she is a great stylist nonethless.

I recommend this place, they know what they're doing and it's a very positive atmosphere overall.

This place deserves all the praise it gets, Jodel is a master at his craft and extremely receptive, and asks all the right questions to help you get the perfect cut even if you are like myself and don't know exactly what you want. The actual place itself is also great, very clean.

Always kinda scary visiting a new barber but I've gone to Karen for my last 2 cuts and each time she's done an incredible job. Has always been gentle and I can see how focused she is on my hair. She asks questions like how I part my hair, how I usually style it, etc to give me a cut that looks good and is something I can maintain. Highly highly recommend the shop:) Place is also very tidy and clean (and sometimes there's 2 dogs that politely ask for pets!)

Got a fade cut. The barber on me didn't seem to be the one with a lot of experience. Ended up with not so satisfying result and yet charged me $45 before taxes and tips for 40min work.

I highly recommend you to book with Josh because my experience with him was more than satisfactory, he did understand right away what I wanted, he also delivered a nice job while we kept a friendly environment with a nice talk. A great asset that I found was that I did not have to wait for my cut, I showed up on time and he was already available for me.

Finally, Josh is an enthusiastic person who loves what he does and that lead him to move to UK to take a professional hairstyle course there.

Just moved to the city and needed a fresh cut, chilled place, very professional. Only a selected few can cut my asian hair. Had Jodel as my stylist. Young kid with a great attitude. Attention to detail was on point. Impressed with the outcome and will surely comeback.

I spent 7 years following the same barber around Vancouver and when he finally quit, I was anxious to mix things up. A friend of mine dropped the Iron Lung name as a recommendation and I decided to bite the bullet and book a slot with Tanner.

This was 8 months ago now and I haven't looked back since. Great dude with a relaxed demeanour, who possesses a genuine level of care. The conversation is great and the haircut is top shelf.

Iron Lung is a rad little shop. It's clean and fresh, their booking system is easy to navigate and I've always walked away from their shop, feeling great. It's not a pretentious barber shop - like so many others in this city are.

I won't go anywhere else in this city for a haircut and I couldn't recommend this place more.

Josh has been my only barber since I moved to Vancouver four years ago, and he's certainly the best barber I've had. The shop itself is great, it has a solid atmosphere. Everyone there is amazing too, I would trust anyone there with my hair and I don't say that lightly. You get what you pay for, and there's always good conversation there too. In my opinion it's the best barbershop in the city. Everything is clean and the appointments are always on time. My barber is Ben and he is amazing, always able to deliver the style I ask for.
