I had made a positive review but since I got the mach e I had to change this review to be honest. First off they made over $10,000 from my trade in. Secondly they sold me the new vehicle for way over MSRP. Thirdly, the day I went to pic up the brand new vehicle the screen went black on the lot and they told me a lie that it was a security feature. I believe them until I came home a few days after the screen went blank over and over. I took it to another ford dealer for them to fix this issue on the brand new mach e and they told me that the module is faulty. So they ordered a module and it will take months to arrive, I'm still waiting. These car dealers will milk you like a cow to get top dollars for a car and tell lies just for you to sign the paperwork. I'm a honest guys and it's so hard to find and deal with honest people in Canada especially car dealers like Island ford.
Such a disappointment for me and my family.

I wanted to get the paint protection done on my new Bronco. Suburban Motors in Victoria wouldn't even call me back regarding it. My dad suggested Island Ford and it was easily worth the drive up to Duncan. Sandra was quick, easy, and flexible to book with (she even texted me as I couldn't answer the phone due to being in a meeting). Boris provided impeccable customer service when dealing with him in person to both drop off and pick up my vehicle even offering me rides both to and from the rental car dealership. I will gladly drive up to Duncan to deal with Boris for all my Ford needs in the future.

These guys looked after me again. Fair deal with great service.

Island Ford is excellent, and I have complete confidence in them. My first interaction was with Guido and Carson, both of whom provide phenomenal service in the Sales department. Jeevan, Cathy and Jen in the Service department also excel at customer service.

All the above have exceptional communication skills and add a personal touch to their service, leaving me with nothing less than complete faith in Island Ford.

I only have great things to say about this dealership. We weren't even planning on buying a vehicle right that day and ended up going back to Victoria with a new Bronco! The sales representative Simon was so friendly and knowledgeable and was a pleasure to deal with. The sales manager was great too. I've certainly had painful experiences in the past at car dealerships but this was an entirely different experience. It was our first purchase at Island Ford but it won't be our last. I wouldn't hesitate to buy there again.

The mantra that I yell shirtless into the mirror every day is that I deserve nice things. When my second Dodge mini van was written off I wanted to step into something a little sportier. Surprisingly I found myself at the Ford dealership looking at a 2013 Ford Escape, It was pretty sick. My salesperson Amado was awesome, never felt pressured or rushed on the purchase and honestly the whole process was about as painless as buying a car can be. I purchased a 2019 F150 from Island Ford. My salesperson was Guido he was very personable, very honest and helpful. Went above and beyond giving after sales help in delivering and picking up my trade in. He also obtained missing owners manuals for me and delivered them to me on a trip to Victoria. Hopefully I won't need to purchase again in the near future but would not hesitate in doing so, everyone I was in contact at the dealership was courteous and extremely helpful.

This was a 5 star rating however, after they installed my tonneau cover, it was my understanding that it would prevent a lot of water ingress into the box. I recognize if a little water gets in is understandable. So I put some tools and a safe driving kit in the box, and it has now been destroyed because the tonneau cover let's any amount of water in. This ford location gets the work done, but lacks attention to detail.

Also, don't get rock guard, its a complete waste of money and again they lack attention to detail when installing. We had to have a section replaced due to lifting within 1 month.

We have a 2021 F150 and absolutely love the truck. It's unfortunate that the attention to detail is lacking at this location.

We recently had a wonderful experience dealing with Rob Martin of Island Ford in Duncan. Rob was unusually helpful, kind and patient in helping my sister-in-law navigate a complex transaction. He told us from the beginning that he wouldn't be happy unless she was happy and then he proved 100% true to his word.helping to resolve hiccups not of his making. Ensure your vehicle has up-to-date maintenance logs and verify their inspections are done correctly before you buy the vehicle and/or the warranty.

Found out the same day of purchase from a third party inspection that my pre-owned vehicle needs a new inner stub shaft and CV axle, and that the exhaust bolts are completely broken and need to be extracted and replaced on a 2016 Dodge Laramie with 120k. ​

-Air filter completely filthy when it was checked off as green on their inspection, and the exhaust bolts clicking as I drove it raised the red flag of getting a full inspection done.

Sales manager Peter refunded $1500 to fix the problems and refused to re-inspect or offer to repair the issues at his location because I got a third party to inspect the vehicle.
(Also made me sign a piece of paper releasing them from liability)
Total cost of repair far exceeds the refund.
Zero creedance to the technicians, who check off the inspection reports falsely

Just purchased a new Mustang Mach-E from these folks. I had called all my nearby dealers who had only late November deliveries for the AWD models. Island Ford had the same problem, but Amado called me back not an hour later having found one at a more distant dealer than I was willing to work with. That extra mile got him the sale, and the after-sale service was fantastic. Delivered to our driveway in Oak Bay, good introduction and walkthrough of the vehicle. I'd buy from Amado and Island Ford again.

Bought a 2012 Fusion remotely in August. While I have no issues with the buying process, the response to an issue I had the day after delivery from Carson & Peter was disappointing. I'm located on the mainland and was shopping for a car, found the Fusion, dealt with Carson and he was good to deal with. Getting over there was a logistical challenge for me and he offered to bring the car over on the ferry which was greatly appreciated. Buying a vehicle sight unseen is a new one for me, but didn't have any red flags during the process so went ahead with the deal. The next morning after delivery I discovered the drivers heated seat doesn't work. Contacted Carson, heard back a couple days later and upon speaking with Carson he said its a 10yr old car and heated seats aren't a big deal anyway. He added he spoke to the manager Peter and there will be nothing done from their end. Taillight warranty so to speak. I understand its a used car but given the fact I hadn't seen the vehicle beforehand I thought there should be some consideration however Carson & Peter feel otherwise. While the heated seat not working is a drag, the real disappointment was the patronized response I received.

Never been a big Ford person before. Went in curious to try out the new Mustang Mach-E. As I told them, "I came in curious, but I came out impressed. " The quality of the car, staff, and service are all excellent.

I had a great experience buying a pre-owned car from Carson Clark at Island Ford, Duncan. Previously, I had always been wary of dealerships and stereotypical 'car salesman' behaviour, but Carson was very respectful of my requirements, time and budget and worked with me to get the best deal. I had looked at a car online and sent in a request to view the car. Carson Clark got back to me right away and set up an appointment the worked with my schedule. I drove up to Duncan with my family and Carson had the car I was interested in ready to go, plus another option for when I was done with the test drive. After test driving the cars we took a second test drive in the car we eventually purchased. It was hot that day and Carson provided us with a much needed ice cold bottle of water. After the second test drive we made up our mind and Carson sat with us while waiting to pay and insure the car. Carson was a stand up guy and we really appreciated all his time and genuine personality. Oh yeah, he is delivering the car to Victoria for us. Absolute worst service department. After dealing with them on the phone, the confusion with booking an appointment with a specific part needing to be changed. We show up and are told "I never ordered it, and they aren't available in North America"

So after after having a discussion with 3 different people about the service our vehicle was coming in for, it wasn't until we showed up (taking a ferry with 2 vehicles) that we are told that they can't actually fix anything because they cant get the part and that their mechanics would be "stumped" unless the computer told them what was wrong.

In over 20 years of experience, I have had in buying and selling cars at dealerships across BC, my recent experience at Island Ford has been by far the best. I purchased a 2020 Mustang GT Convertible and did not have to step into the dealership even once to get the deal done. In fact, I live in a different city. The entire purchasing process was done online via email and phone calls. And here is the sweet spot – the vehicle was picked up from another location in BC by Island Ford and dropped off at my home front door-step. After inspecting the car and being satisfied with the vehicle, only then did I sign the sales paperwork at my house which the sales rep brought with him along with the vehicle (and the keys). WOW! ENOUGH SAID. The deal was fair, honest and without any gimmicks. There were no surprises or changes at the time of purchase based on our past conversations (WHICH WAS DONE AT MY HOUSE). It is very rare these days to find an honest car dealership who run their business solely based on customer satisfaction – and Island Ford is definitely an honest and fair dealership with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend asking for Amado Rodriguez (sales representative) and Kyle Martin (sales manager) – these guys are professionals and will do anything to ensure their customer is 100% satisfied. I am from this day forward a return customer to Island Ford and will be recommending their services. Top notch work guys. See you again.
