Peter and his team at Island Furnace & Fireplace are always our first call and I recommend them unreservedly.

Kudos to the Island Furnace team for exceptional service!
I contacted Peter in a bit of a panic when my heating system (which has quite a unique setup) wasn't starting up. Although his team's schedule was already packed he found a way to squeeze in one of his technicians the same day.
They quickly worked out the two causes to the issues I was having, got the heater going, and as a bonus did recommended maintenance/safety checks on the system while there (which I otherwise would have needed to schedule another appointment for in near future).
Their team got the job done professionally, quickly, and at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended!

We can’t say enough great things about this family run business! They installed a propane fire place and a ducted HVAC system in our 1945 home. The house went from being cool all the time to a perfect constant temperature with huge hydro savings. Peter and Alex came up with an innovative installation plan for the HVAC ducting system that ticked all our boxes. The propane fireplace they installed was a complicated install because of the old curved firebox opening. Again, they thought of a great plan to give us exactly what we were envisioning. Along with quoting the most competitive price, we couldn’t be happier with the service they provided!

We had an excellent experience with Island furnace and fireplace. They replaced our old oil furnace with a new gas one.
The work was done quickly and efficiently and everything works perfectly after the installation. They also replaced a large portion of our duct work and really listened to what we wanted with it. Our thermostat was causing issues and Peter had a tech come and look at it and the problem was solved. Peter bodman was very easy to deal with throughout the whole experience. I would highly recommend this business.

I can not say enough good things about Peter @ Island Furnace and Fireplace. We had our pilot light not working on our gas fireplace and the remote control would not work either (yes we replaced batteries). It is a primary heat source for our main floor, and of course the cold snap hit. Peter went above and beyond to locate a new remote and even came to recalibrate and reset our fireplace, even though technically his service calls were booked out for several months in advance. Truly the best service experience I have had in years. Outstanding service! Thank you Peter for the professional caring service!
