I had an excellent experience here, the doctor explained the procedures and did a great job of performing my surgery. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and the dental assistants were great.

So happy with the service this clinic provides! Once my referral was received, Amber (the referral coordinator) heard I was in a lot of pain and got me in next day! Tamra and Shauna in reception were able to squeeze my surgery in the next 2 weeks! So incredibly thankful. These ladies are amazing. Highly recommend

Dr. Pemontesi did a surgery to my son, and he is professional and confident doctor. He is very nice also, and he gives the time to ask and answer your questions. I am so happy from the results and my son is happy too.

Got my wisdom teeth removed, and was beyond nervous to be completely honest. But the staff were amazing. Had a great conversation to calm my nerves and were very attentive when I woke up. Would recommend the entire team to everyone in need of dental work.

I have never had any type of surgery before, so I was very very nervous for my wisdom teeth removal, but the entire staff treated me so well! From the moment I walked in the door the receptionist Kelsey was so funny and nice and made me feel at ease. Erin (the nurse) and Dr. Piemontesi we’re so so kind. They went above and beyond in my opinion, never for a moment did I feel scared or nervous. The dental assistant hadden was very kind and gentle and made me feel very safe the entire time! 10/10 recommend:)

In September 2019 I had a bi-maxillary Osteotomy performed by Dr. Sansalone. I just recently got my braces off and can see the change in all its glory! I met with Dr. Sansalone several times leading up to the surgery and he helped me feel very comfortable about the procedure. He was direct and to the point about every detail, and I was able to ask any questions I had. I felt as comfortable as I could feel during this whole process. He did an incredible job, and I trusted him along every step of the way. His team worked seamlessly with Ocean's Edge Orthodontics to streamline the whole process.

I was happy with my service in the office, and especially with the commitment Dr. Sansalone had to my health and well being. Thanks to his recommendations and guidance, I had a very speedy recovery and was back in school nine days later!

I had lower jaw surgery performed by Dr. Olynik and Dr. Crowley in July of this year. I am very pleased with the results and I was happy with the professionalism of the office staff and the service I received during this challenging pandemic times. Dr. Olynik was very helpful in explaining the procedure and following up on my post operative recovery. I was also very satisfied with the care I received at Nanaimo general hospital. I would definitely recommend the services of this team to anyone considering oral surgery. Thank you!

I had emergency dental surgery today and I can't say more about the caring, supportive, knowledgeable staff. They all made the experience easy, and all fear and anxiety dissapeared. Nurse Debbie even gave me a few laughs!

My son has been a patient for the past six months and I have been exceedingly impressed with the quality of care he has received here. What began as a relatively simple wisdom tooth extraction, yielded the discovery of an existing massive cyst within my son's sinus cavity - something that had gone undiagnosed despite several appointment with our family physician. The oral surgeon's diligence and knowledge facilitated not only answers but a treatment plan to manage the cyst. If we had questions after hours, we were able to reach the surgeon for answers. At each subsequent appointment we were kept informed and treated with care and respect. I feel very fortunate to have found this calibre of oral surgeon and quality staff here in Parksville.

Evil people. When i was in the operating room and they strapped me onto the table they let me panic for about 10 minutes. The anesthesiologist asked me the same questions that were just answered and written down on a piece of paperwork literally right next to him. They began to put me under with no warning while i was still panicking and he simply said "goodnight" The lady holding the oxygen mask to my face was pushing way too hard and it wasnt even centered or sealed on my face properly. They made me feel rushed and uncomfortable the whole time. Now to the best part. Mr.anesthesiologist never took my height or weight! He took a guess. He even asked me how tall i was. I said 5'3 or 5'2 because im not even sure and he just guessed. Ive been under anasthesia before, it was peaceful and it just felt like a nice heavy sleep. They held my hand and understood i was scared and counted back from 10 with me. THIS time, he gave me so much it felt like a whack in the back of my neck and my whole face and head got pins and needles. When i came to and was aware of my surroundings i was swearing because i was literally still in a state of panic and was having trouble breathing because they shoved the tube up my nose and down my throat so hard i was bleeding. (It wasnt from the sutures, it was coming from my nose/throat when i coughed.) And i was having trouble communicating because my face was still so swollen and frozen, the two ladies were acting like they had no idea why i would be acting this way and just raised her voice at me saying "Excuse me? Theres other patients in here. EXCUSE ME? ! " While i struggled to communicate how much pain i was in and that i was tarting to have trouble breathing because i was having a panic attack. She walked over to the other side of me and told another lady "She says shes having a panic attack. Hehe" just giggling and talking like its no big deal while i was shaking and moaning in pain more than i should have. On top of that i was panicking so hard i could barely breathe and everybody just walked past me after i had swore at the initial lady. Every single person in that room wrote it off as me being doped up and scared. I could also tell they were very rough with my head and neck because its all very very sore and they wrenched on my mouth so badly that the corners are raw and almost bleeding. I was begging for water and she told me no and why i wasnt allowed. So i just asked her to wet my mouth or literally anything because the gauze was sticking into my tongue more than the holes and constricing my swallowing and breathing even further. She said no and refused to help me. Walked away and or i was going in and out of conciousness and then asked me if i wanted new gauze. I could only moan i could barely form words and she proceeded to YANK my freshy operated jaw open, and yank on the gauze that was stuck to both mt braces and the clots. Making the pain worse. When they someone finally realised i was in more pain than normal they offered me painkillers but said i would have to wait longer. I refused and they finally let me go see my dad. I was asleep for 25 minutes longer than i shouldve been, and the initial lady have the nerve to go out and tell my dad how fould i was being. She even lied to him and said that I ripped the gauze out and threw it on the ground. Which baffles me because they gave me so much anasthetic i was barely able to move. She knew the damage she did while ripping them out herself would be noticable; so she blamed it on me. As a side note, im 16 and she was old enough to be my grandmother and she decided to take whatever misery she has in her own life out on me.

I can say with full confidence this is this worst thing ive ever gone through i sat there audibly moaning and crying in pain begging for help, and nobody stopped for me they all just kept walking. If you have the option, NEVER have your surgery done here for risk of this happening to you too. They all performed mal practice.

Thanks guys! Enjoy your money and keep making people suffer. We are not cattle we are people.
