Island Veterinary Eye Specialist

Was referred by our regular vet to treat my dog Lugers on going eye issue. Right away the team were so great and helpful, Luger is very reactive to other dogs so the office team helped get him into the exam room once the coast was clear. Very caring team they truly care about animals were very thorough while taking notes and photos before the dr came in, gave snuggles and talked to him as if the was their own. Dr Osinchuk was fantastic and so good at her job. She had an answer almost instantly as well as offered a visual of what she was explaining on an eye diagram. She suggested a treatment they were able to do that day which was great because I live out of Victoria. A week before his recheck I had some concerns and I called the office. The office member was very happy to help and had me send photos for the dr to look at, and she got back to me right away. Went for a re check 3 weeks later and she confirmed he was healed. Super happy with my experience here and will bring any of my dogs back here for any eye needs in the future. Thank you Dr. Osinchuk and team!

After a sibling incident and our cat Jim played a little too rough with his Sister Pam, and scratched her eye we rushed Pam to the Animal hospital who then referred us here. We were surprised and glad that they basically said "tell them to bring her by TODAY". Upon arriving, the waiting area made us feel much more relaxed and less anxious. The intake, the testing and the actual visit with the Dr was so thorough and careful. They were nothing but kind and considerate. The Doctor explained every step and why they were doing it and also explained what will happen at the follow up to make sure they can do everything to save Pam's eye. The entire ordeal for Pam was extremely stressful but once we got to this office the same day, she was much more calm than she had been all day. I'm also grateful that the doctor was happy to answer all the questions we had and never made us feel like we were wasting her time by asking so many questions! Overall such a great experience for such a poopy incident!

Couldn't be happier with the service we received. They preform medical miracles daily, my dog was fully blind and is now completely recovered.
