An absolutely horrible bully of a hostess! I booked this place last minute because everything else was sold out and because it seemed to have gotten good reviews for some reason. But soon enough I found out that the hostess, Darlene, is verbally abusive and demeaning to her guests. I had a stressful week and was looking forward to a restful Canada Day long weekend, and she completely ruined it for me! I demand a FULL REFUND! On top of this, she put old soap and worn out towels in my room. I was so angry and upset that I left without eating breakfast (which was included with the deal). And I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. My room had a nice view of the sea and a lovely garden, but all of that was ruined for me after Darlene's poor treatment of her guests. I am glad that I have witnesses - a German mom and her son - who also experienced this and can back me up. (Meeting them was the only good thing that came out of this horrible experience!) Darlene should NOT be allowed to run a B&B when she has no people skills. - Hedy
