I had visited the website for years, and decided to walk in one day to look at the watches. I was very impressed by the layout of the store and the amount of product. Their selection is second to none, and I could have easily spent an entire day there.
I had many questions about certain pieces and the staff were very patient and kind with answering all my inquiries. I spoke with Vahid and can understand why his business has been active for so long.
Bottomline, if you love watches and supporting local businesses, I easily recommend checking out It's About Time & Jewelery. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Took my Seamaster titanium for a full service. Watch has worked perfectly since. Was fast too. Douchey mandatory steering wheel shot.

I would not recommend this place at all. My wall clock quit working after I recently moved and I assumed something got wiggled loose at that time. On the phone it was bring your clock in and we will take a look and give you an estimate but at the store it was now $200 just to look at it. When I said that was more than I wanted to pay at this particular time and then started to leave he started yelling at me and continued to do so all the way to the exit door. He was still yelling after I had actually left the store. Not the way to treat a customer at all. I have never been treated so rudely ever and I will never be back! Wish I could give it zero stars.

The owner is rude and condescending. Scratched my new watch I brought in to be sized, insulted the brand. He kept one of the links there, thankfully I came back on my own accord and he mentioned he had it.
I've never been in this business before, but this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth I wouldn't go back as a customer for a purchase.
Female sales associate with the long hair refused to greet me, just gave me a rude stare as I walked in.
Bottom line, you should really rethink how you treat people.

Be carful, not bad, the worst experience. Years of experience in the industry and he dominated how to scam people. If you want to sell or buy a watch go somewhere else!

I brought a watch in to get a battery replaced and he told me it would be $200 because it needed a service since it would not tick after he replaced the battery. I then took the watch to the German watch maker and he told me the battery terminal had been broken off and needed to be replaced. The watch ran perfect before I took it in to its about time. Given the fact that its worth over $2500 I am doubtful that it is a coincidence it broke on its own before anyone opened the back.

Rudest person I have ever spoken to. I called this morning with regards to obtaining information about a grandfather clock. The person on the other end completely shrugged me off and said there was no market, and that he was too busy to have any conversation about it because he had customers and if I wasn’t going to be a customer, he had no time for me. I tried to explain to him that I was just trying to obtain information and that he did not need to be so rude. His response was he hung up the phone abruptly.

This is a person and company I will never be dealing with, and I can only imagine that with this person’s poor attitude and poor customer service that any other customers should look in a different direction because if a company is going to be so inappropriate with its customers, I can’t imagine it providing any good service when it comes to the servicing and repair of clocks.

BUYER BEWARE! This company is a front for scam artists. On the day I was going to pick up my newly purchased watch, they told me that I would have to pay an additional $1700 to the agreed upon price.

Excellent customer service & shopping experience. I have bought five watches, a wedding band and diamond earrings here. I was always given a great deal for being a return customer. Thanks for all the excellent time pieces and jewelry.

Horrible place I brought my high end watch that I had papers and receipts for they said that this is fake and continued to sell me one of his, I then went to the store that I bought from which is there head location and got it verified that it’s real and these guys are the scammers trying to sell there watch and make me try to return the watch to the main supplier smh

I bought this bracelet from Garine jewelers in Surrey Central mall. I unfortunately got it caught and it was twisted and bent out of shape. Garine originally told me that they could fix it, but then after 3 weeks told me no and I was out of luck. I was completely heartbroken as they offered me no options. I had brought a Watch to. It’s about time. Jewelers to be fixed and they did an amazing job so I asked them if they would be able to take a look at my bracelet for me. They did an amazing job on this repair, and I couldn’t be happier.
Thank you so much I will recommend this business to anyone that’s looking for a reputable jeweler.

Bought my Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic here after finding their location on the Hamilton website. The staff were helpful and professional, which made for a great buying experience.

Went in the store with a dilemma with an old watch. The man that helped me was honest and straightforward citing he didn't work on that type of watch and explained why. That being said he removed some screws i could myself and explained a few things to me about my issue. Handed me my watch back with a smile No charge! Awesome thank you I was extremely happy about the help and the removal of screws I couldn't remove myself. I will go out of my way to bring this company further business from myself or reccomendation. Thanks again

Absolutely amazing service from Reyna. Was quoted for engraving rings, which they do in store, and I dropped them off and was able to pick up the rings the same day! Another place I went to was charging over 3x the price and said it would take 3-4 weeks. I am impressed with the service and the quality of the work, so will definitely be back. Tried to return an sealed/unused $9 watch battery with a receipt. Given the BS excuse that they don't do c/c returns. First time that that has happened in over 45 years. Not impressed!

Very friendly service. We dropped off our chiming mantle clock to be repaired. It should be ready in 8-10 weeks which is about what we expected.
Will rate and comment again when clock is repaired and picked up.

This store is a hidden gem. Not only do they have a great selection of watches and jewelry, but they are kind, friendly & helpful. They replace watch batteries on the spot while you wait snd have repaired a few broken pieces in a very timely manner. Super happy with the service here.

Service was good and the staff are friendly but it is a bit pricey for changing a watch battery.

I was referred to this location to have a link taken out of a very rare and collectable watch, one that is irreplaceable. When they offered to help remove it the representative started to take my watch to the back room. When I asked if I could accompany or if they could do it Infront of me they said they were offended and immediately dismissed me. While I Totally understand that this can be seen as a lack of trust on my end. I am also super offended that they didn't even try to offer a solution or even explain the process. Sorry.but trust is earned and you didn't earn it!

Great service, with no hassle and no pressure sales. Very much customer service first business. High quality watches at very comparable prices. We have now purchased few watches here and we will come back. I would highly recommend checking them out.

Do not bring your high end watch here! They gave my watch to someone else and tried to give me a $100 watch (mine is worth $3200). Either it was a blotched scam, extremely poor organized, or just a brutal mistake. I got it back eventually, still not fixed (they couldn't figure out how to fix a simple strap, and caused damage where they tried too - ever heard of soft tip tools?).

All I asked was for an apology, and didn't get that, instead I got a bunch of ego and attitude. You can still apologize if you want. I don't want to believe you tried to scam me, but every time I tell this story that is what everybody concludes. I just hope it was a bad mistake that you were to prideful to admit. A simple sorry would of prevented this review - maybe next time you'll think twice.

Wonderful experience with this shop! While I had a relatively simple alteration (removing links from a watch band) staff were approachable and well versed in their craft, giving me not only the information I needed but also some welcome additional facts that will aid me in the future! Be sure to visit if you're in the area needing any repairs or alterations for your timekeeping device!

It’s About Time has an amazing selection of watches and jewelry! I came in looking for a Swiss made watch for myself and did not leave disappointment. Vahid and the staff were friendly and informative. I highly recommend checking out the store before looking anywhere else. They also have the best deals in town!

They offer poor service in that every vintage Swiss watch I took there they not only failed to fix but made worse, also what should be noted they are extremely rude and non trust worthy. It would be fantastic to have a high end watch retail and repair shop in Langley but unfortunately this is not that.

Contacted the owner on Friday via email. I explained that I had a clock that my Mother had bought me from Potters. It wasn't terribly expensive ($50.00) but has great sentimental value and is very pretty. A gust of wind had slammed the door and it fell off the wall putting a line through the glass and knocking loose the second hand so it was hanging at 6: 00. This is a battery operated clock. He told me to bring it down and they would give me an estimate. I went down there today. $65.00 to replace the glass and $25.00 to secure the second hand (which takes about a second to do. I've done it myself many times) plus tax. Over a hundred dollars to fix a $50.00 clock. What a waste of gas money going down there. If anyone knows of a place where they are a little less greedy please let me know. Thank you

I just bought a new oris aquis date relief watch.it was an awesome experience at it's about time & jewelry.vahid is a true professional.vahid let's you take your time to look at everything in his store, with a no pressure sales approach and his staff is very friendly as well.

Our wall clock needed just one hand - it was fully operational. It is a very old mechanical wall clock, worth CAD 1,500-2,000. Despite the promises that they (he store) are looking for suitable hand, nothing has been. After two (2) months we have take this clock back and given it to another different store. Let's see how long we will have to wait again.very disappointing with the service and approach to the client.

Best place to buy a watch! I was looking at a Tissot online and went to this store to see it in person. The salesperson was very helpful and I ended up buying the watch there for an incredible deal! Now I have an authenticated Tissot with a 2 year Tissot warranty, which I would not have got if I bought it online. Very happy I chose to go to Its About Time. This brick and mortar store is better than any online watch store!

So I will start off by saying that I have never met Vahid or Eva as I live in Ontario. But I will say that when it comes to patience (I send Vahid a million emails when I'm buying a watch) integrity and respect they are simply fantastic. I have received watches and my Wolf watchbox and double winder from them and they have been on point with everything. Vahid has been straightforward about the type of watch and the pricing and has never gone back on his word. When I was looking to start my collection I looked all over my area and beyond and the only people to be very patient and caring with me were them. Now that I have them to rely on for my watch collection I will not go elsewhere. I highly recommend them even from hundreds of kilometers away.

Just purchased the new Hamilton Murph watch. Soooo happy with the watch and level of service received. The staff and owner were most helpful and very knowledgeable. They also allowed for a layaway plan which made the purchase decision a "no brainer". If you're thinking about buying a premium watch, I would absolutely suggest you visit "It's About Time". I already have the next one picket out.

Not happy with this place at all. Bought in a clock which stopped working due to battery drainage. I thought I would go see if it could be fixed as I did not want to pay over $600 again for a new one. Guy straight up told me that it was 'unfixable' since the battery drained inside the clock and kept telling me he would give me a deal on a new one. Clearly he was just trying to make a sale. I ended up going home and cleaning the battery damage with a pin and some vinegar, which worked like a charm. The clock now works perfectly and looks brand new. Avoid these people as they only care about selling clocks and don't give honest opinions.

I have purchased 3 watches and a few watch straps from it’s About Time & Jewelry. I would have to say they are the most knowledgeable, friendly and best service I have ever had. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of a purchase of a watch or jewelry to give this store a try. I have a few watches to get serviced and will definitely bring them there! They attended our house and serviced our Grandfather clock that had been in storage since 2012, he was very efficient, professional and friendly and the clock is running like is should.

Did not have a good experience here. Went in to buy a link for my Brietling watch, the staff were very snooty and rude. Will never go here again ever. I own several high end watches and wont take them here. Was made to feel like a homeless bum because I wasnt wearing a suit and tie.

Part two to this review, just got off the phone with the owner of this place to discuss my recent review. Wow is all I can say, first off I informed him i have 2 Brietling watches, both purchased from Brietling and both are 100% authentic, he claimed I was there a couple days ago with the alleged fake watches when in fact it had been over a month ago I went in there. I told him this and said obviously if he thought my authentic watches were fake he does not know his job and should not be selling or even touching high end watches. At this point he literally started screaming and swearing at me on the phone so loud that my wife and children in the same room could hear him. This guy is deranged and possibly psychotic, to yell and scream and threaten a complete stranger a customer who was only calling to clarify a public review and possibly change it to a more positive after speaking to the owner this guy is a certified card carrying member of the crazy folks tribe. I now more than ever recommend NO one ever go to this store, I will never go back there, I feel personally threatened and completely unsafe ever stepping foot in that buisness again. I dont know if the owner is a gang member or criminal who uses his buisness as a front to launder illegal money but he screamed and threatened me with physical harm.
Am seriously considering speaking to RCMP about this deranged owner, I believe it is against the law to threaten anyone with physical harm in this Country and he crossed the line. Stay away people be safe this owner is a butter.

I’ve been a regular customer at Its About Time for about 15 years. My first experience looking for a link for a watch I bought and couldn’t get help anywhere. Vahid answered right away and found the missing link. Ever since that day I’ve never gone anywhere else for watch purchases. Watch repairs and jewellery.
