Ivy's Kitchen Vietnamese Restaurant

The smell of good Pho attracted me here as I was walking Main, glad I ordered a Pho Tai.
Great surving size with all the goodies that come with that dish.

Small quaint place. Pho was a bit disappointing.meat was not tender, noodles over cooked and the broth lacked substance. Just OK.

Pho is ok tasting but played very nice.
Pork chop on rice dish is smaller but very tasty.
Both dishes were less worth it if you are comparing to cheaper places like Thai Son,
MSG is something to be wary of if you are sensitive to that. On both occasions that I came my dining companions could feel the MSG in the food (probably the pho broth).
Service was ok as we arrived late in the lunch hour.
Dining room was very clean and air conditioned.

Food was good. Was made quickly after we ordered. The portions were quite large. The prices were reasonable.

It's little bit far from where all the restaurants are from Main Street area, but this also means that parking is easier.
Food was nice, and staffs were super friendly.

I always ordered vermicelli with Lemongrass Grilled Chicken or Pork. They were great every times.

My sister and I ate 2 bowls of spicy beef noodles soup. The soup wasn’t hot but they reheat it. Broth was so salty that I didn’t dare to drink soup. Meat wasn’t fresh. Very disappointed. Mouth and lips felt funny after eating it. Service is good. Restaurant is decent and clean.

A nice place on main street. I was looking for a quick lunch on a hot afternoon. I had the chicken curry noodle bowl. It was slightly expensive than i would have expensive. However the taste was good. I stopped something unique in the soup and learnt that it was a vegetable called Taro.

Terrible beer selection. No Vietnamese beers and some pretty terrible North American ones to boot. Kokanee, Corona and Coors light

I’m so happy the ownership changed here. I never liked the previous place. Fresh sans tasty food. Good service

Nice flavours and price was good. I tried their house special pho and it was very filling.

I've ordered from Ivy way before she opened her own restaurant.

We may have our own preference in taste palate, but one thing is Ivy doesn't skip steps. She runs things the way she believes it's best.

So try the restaurant, order different dishes to sample. You'll find something you like.

I had the Bun Bo Hue and chicken skewers and it was fantastic! Came in hungry and left full and satisfied.

A Vietnamese friend recommended me this restaurant. It is surely the best pho I have had in Vancouver! Super flavorful and rich broth, al dente noodles, and very generous portions

Another surprise highlight for me was the rice cake omelette. The rice cakes are crispy and the sauce was tangy and refreshing, sided nicely by a salad. Also really like their chili oil.

Service is warm and fast as well! (So the food is also warm when it arrives) Will come back again and again for sure!

Was Pho Tan last year 2021. Inside decor, hmm? Ordered to go pork briquettes spring roll with vermicelli. BBQ marinade was too sweet, spring rolls yummy savory, salad included basil sprig. The restaurant was empty, 1 table but I waited over 15 minutes for my order. CoVid prices.

I am actually visiting from toronto! This place was about 30 seconds from where i stayed.they have really great food! And lovely staff!

Very disappointed about the food quality. I bought the Bun Bo Hue yesterday (July 6) and when I opened the package and it was very bad, it looked like congee rather than vermicelli to me. The restaurant need to pay your attention to the food, it’s very different from dine in.

The restaurant is clean and cozy. The Bun Bo Hue has good portion and the broth is flavorful. Best Bun Bo Hue in town so far. The service is quick, attentive, friendly. They also have good vegetarian options too:) Will come back again in the future!

Phenomenal experience, this joint is dope and hands down probably the best vegetarian Vietnamese experience outside of Vietnam!
Whilst the satay wasn't what I'm used to, it was absolutely flawless and so incredibly yummy which perfectly complimented some huge fat Gỏi cuốn (Vietnamese Fresh Salad Rolls) stuffed with Tofu and fresh veggies. The portion size was great, although probably more for two people I had no problem polishing them off as they were so good. The Pho Ćhay again stuffed with a plentiful portion of tofu, also had an awesome and splendid satay base. I literally slurped every last drop of the entire thing, wow super tasty! Staff were also kind enough to throw me in some extra chillies to make it nice and spicy, perfection.
Staff are incredibly friendly, very kind and approachable as well as fantastically talented at making out of this world grub! I cannot wait to visit here again and is a solid go-to option.

We love this neighborhood pho restaurant. The beef brisket pho and satay seafood is our favourite.

Had Satay, spring rolls, salad rolls, and the bon mi. All amazing. Didn't have the Pho so I'll definitely have to come back.

Clean and spacious restaurant with customer parking. Ordered the satay pho with beef. All the ingredients are very fresh. The coconut milk overpowered the satay. So it would be more ideal and delicious if the satay broth come with less coconut and more peanut flavour looking more like the photo in the menu.

Order salad roll and house beef noodles soup.
The salad roll rice paper was too thin and it broke when unwrapping.
The soup base was alright.
